"We walk. Its a long ways, but I'd rather not trust a train that could drive us into a crevasse like almost swallowed you day one... And to carry all of us would come close to killing all of you unicorns." Lance said with conviction, stepping up closer to the group.

 

"I walked just fine from here to Stalliongrad and back in just a few days." Lance continued, hoping no one would connect that journey to the damage his armor and hide had received. "So for a group like us... It should pose no difficulties as long as we prepare correctly.

Frozen stood a while until she had an idea. "Fireball how about getting the train, I can drive I suppose... I have not done it for a while but I am sure it will come back too me!" Frozen looked in her saddle bag and got out her train driver hat, she put it on her head, and then she grabbed her whistle and put it around her neck. "Who is ready for a train journey?"

"The train might be dangerous, like Lance says," Diego said, doubtfully. "I think we should walk. The pegasi could always fly ahead if there's a need to scout out the territory, or unicorns could teleport. I don't think we ought to trust ourselves to a train which could fail."

"Yeah, there are holes in the ground that the train could fall in killing us all and I don't want to take the risk" Ginger Snap said with a stern look across his face. (OOC: I have a great idea about the RP @@~Chaotic Fireball~ After the time spell is cast in the Crystal Empire we should start a new RP for like how the couples and single ponies would live in Ponyville or anywhere else. I'm guessing it would be mainly romance and thought it would be a cool idea to share.)

Fireball scratched her head. We'd better pack. 

"Everypony!" she shouted, making sure that every one heard her, "Pack your saddle bags with all that you need, because we are going to the Crystal Empire!"

 

Immediately, Fireball grabbed her saddle bag in her mouth, and started to stuff in her portion of food that was left, a couple bottles of water, and a chcolate bar or two (she always kept one hidden away in her bag), and a few other items.

Making sure that everypony else was ready, she turned to the others.

 

" I guess we should get going then..." she started, looking up at the reddening sky, "Shall we begin?"

she asked, taking the first step that would take them on a very dangerous and perilous journey.

Lance listened as Fireball spoke, and hoped the Crystal Empire fared better than the world he had seen so far. Lance grabbed his saddlebags and helmet from where they lay and through both onto his back. The helmet was damaged enough that it wouldn't offer him much for protection even if he did wear it, besides he thought. No need to try and look like just another automaton guard while with friends. 

 

Lance stepped up beside Fireball, "I'll be sticking around a while longer this time it seems."

Diego sighed heavily, and started to pack some food in his saddlebags. He still hoped that they would be able to look in at the griffon kingdom when they got to the Crystal Empire; after all, an alicorn like Cadance should have the power to make a viewing portal. He'd make it himself, but knew full well that Starfall, should she have survived, would refuse to speak to him at all.

Ginger Snap packed some food, water, and his tricorn hat into his saddle bag and got ready to go. "I've got everything I need and I'm ready to go when all of you are." said Ginger Snap with a sign of happiness within his voice. Ginger Snap went to go stand by @ and wait for everypony else to get ready when he blurted out "If you don't like me in the relationship way then you can just tell me" Ginger Snap though about earlier when @ ran up and kissed fireball.

Blue Moon noticed all the commotion about heading over to The Crystal Empire and wanted to know what Diego thought about it all. When he walked over to him, he saw him start packing his bags.

 

"So, are we still going to the Griffin kingdom or are we going to the Crystal Empire with everypony else?"

 

Blu secretly hoped that they were going to The Crystal Empire. That way, he wouldn't have to leave his best friend, Twilight.

Frozen was ready she grabbed her saddle bag, she had been to the Crystal Empire once before, she went to see the Equestrian games there. She knew the way, she flew there when she went to the games. "Everyone, I agree with Diego, I know the way because I went there when I went to see the games."

Diego sighed and replied to Blu. "Yes, we're going to the Crystal Empire along with everypony else," he said. "Maybe I can find somepony to help me there, like the Princess perhaps or Shining Armour. They were about the only ponies who didn't shun me for my magic."

"Ok, I guess I'll go tell Twilight that we are going to the Crystal Empire" Blu said. "Hopefully the princess and prince are still there."

 

After talking with  Diego, Blu walked over to where Twilight was laying down. She was sleeping until Blu nudged her awake. 

 

"Hey guess what!"

 

"Yes?"

 

"I'm not going to the griffin country. Everpony is instead, going to to the Crystal Empire."

 

"Oh, that's great news! I'll go pack my stuff."

 

"Ok."

 

Blue Moon walked away and gathered what little stuff he had. Actually, he didn't have anything or anypony.

@ every one "Alright then finally where leaving" he said withe some joy he went over to his saddle bags to check what food he had left a bottle of water and some apples" ah damn it running low on food" he said to himself as he grabbed his guitar he said " he ever pony I'm going to the train it still has food on it who wants to come with me?"

"Let's go!" Fireball exclaimed as they started to trudge along the musty smelling road. They would take a very long time to reach the Crystal Empire. Fireball didn't think it made sense to fly all the way, and get tired, so she trotted along next to the others.

Lance nodded to Fireball as he trotted alongside the mare. 

 

"It's been a while since we've been able to talk... How have you been doing with.... all this?" Lance looked over at the mare slyly,

"And don't lie.. Remember I was the one who pulled you out from under that building when.... you weren't doing your best." 

 

Lance smiled shyly, fully realizing that his question was not worded to express the worry he had for her, but not able to puzzle out how to approach this fiery mare.

Frozen did not know anyone but Aj and Apple Bloom in the group, as the Apple's were at the back Frozen knew she needed to make some new friends. Frozen shrugged and then carried on walking. Frozen thought to herself "Who would want to be my friend anyway..." Frozen flew to the front of the group and then started to trot. Frozen smiled when she had seen a burn't sign that read 'Crystal Empire 5 miles' She thought the ponies had a long road ahead so she may as well make some friends...

Ginger Snap was calmly walking around the back of the pack and realized he hadn't made any friends besides Fireball Rush, but it mattered little to him. He sluggishly put his tricorn hat on his head to keep the scorching fires and the sun out of his eyes. He thought about running up to talk to @@~Chaotic Fireball~ but it seemed like she was busy.

Blue Moon walked with the herd of survivors. He knew he had said earlier that they need to worry about survival more than others, but he was starting to feel a bit lonely. The only friend he had was Twilight and almost everypony else was either male or in a relationship already. He sighed and continued to walk the path. He wondered why some of the pegasi weren't flying, but then again, he wasn't teleporting so it didn't really matter. He just continued to walk, in hope of finding somepony.

As Frozen was still in the lead trotting along she still thought that she needed to make some friends, Frozen slowed down a bit till the whole group catch caught up, she was now in the middle of the group, most of the ponies were grouped up with somepony... Frozen started to feel well lonely.

Frozen looked quite surprised when the stallion putting his hoof around her. "Huh?! Oh, um I am fine it's just I guess, I don't have a proper friend around here, I normally make friends easily but since it is the end of the world and all..." Frozen smiled. "Thanks for noticing me!"

Diego was feeling very lonely indeed. He didn't have anypony as a friend cuz most ponies shunned him for his chaos magic. Before he had tried to make the best of things but now, walking among a group of ponies, he felt the loneliness even more acutely.

"well it's the least I can do I mean where already going through hell might as well make some new friends on the way" he said with a smile." so what's gotcha down besides the end of the world if it's lonelyness your not alone your surround ponys if you give a shot they can become your new friends and trust me I been there before" he said lowering his smile." you just have to enjoy the little things in life."

Lance walked slowly to the far side of the Town Hall to where Starry was resting and sat down beside her, dropping his saddlebags aside and placing his his helmet before him. While waiting for Starry to stir he absent-mindedly removed all his armour, tracing each scar and worn spot within its once golden coat, as though he were remembering something. 

 

After she began to wake again he spoke quietly "It's been a minute.... get a good rest young one?"

 

Starry woke up slowly, rubbed her eyes, and heard a quiet voice, it was Lance.  

 

 "It's been a minute.... get a good rest young one?"

 

Starry nodded, and yawned. "Haven't been quite in the best mood, ponies are dying and leaving, just a bit under the weather." Starry replied.

Starry woke up slowly, rubbed her eyes, and heard a quiet voice, it was Lance.  

 

 "It's been a minute.... get a good rest young one?"

 

Starry nodded, and yawned. "Haven't been quite in the best mood, ponies are dying and leaving, just a bit under the weather." Starry replied.

Lance nodded, understanding Starry's feelings. "If that was a slight against my disappearance..." Lance began in a reassuring tone, "I had personal business to attend to while the group was.... Figuring out what to do. But apologies." 

 

"But," he continued, attempting to use a reassuring tone, "Most of that seem's to be over.. And unless were attacked by ponies gone rogue or Changling's or something this road should be pretty safe.. And I'm sure Shining Armor found a way to keep the Crystal Empire safe so things will begin looking up for you.. Deal?"
