I would like to apologize, I don't think I can still participate in this RP. I've tried to push myself to post, but that 'spark' is no longer there. The workload over here has been increasing quite steadily, and considering I'm already involved with another RP by my closest friends and another one that is still on a planning phase, I'm afraid I'll have to let this one go.

 

Once again, I'm sorry. Fender, thank you for all those good time you gave me with our OCs together.

That's a shame, but honestly I can't blame you...I've been getting pretty close to this happening as well, I might have to take some leave from RPing.

Also, I'm not sure if you saw, but Skycoaster was wondering if it would be possible for you to make one final post explaining Fender and Winterglade's leaving?  We wouldn't want these characters to just fade into nonexistence.

If that is a real song, I would love a link to it, and if that was your original work, then you make J.K Rowling look like the sript writer for a porno. Well done

Well thank you. I wish I could say I made it up, but it's a shortened version of a song from Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, the song is "I will always return" by Bryan Adams.

I've had a hectic few days and haven't had a chance to post. I've been working on a fanfic and went to a Penguins game.

So, my intro post wasn't directed at anyone because it seems like we have one person or two person stories and I feel rude interrupting.  So my OC just kinda sat down and looked around because I didn't want to break in on a bunch of A and B conversations.  Is it cool to just get up and bother one of you guys, because it's kinda impenetrable right now.

I hope to dear Celestia I hope I get into this RP, I did go to a chat based for it but it got bombarded with OCC, so my 1st Character and only character is in my signature, I look forward to RPing with you all ^^ Oh and if read, Can I get a few ponies opinions on it? As I said its my first and I would appreciate if I got some sort of rating and criticism to help boost it along and to improve!

Yeah, it can be sort of tough to get your OC included sometimes.  Most people don't really mind if you bother them; and as far as I am aware, no one is in a position where they can't be bothered at the moment.

Oh, cool, a ponified Alphonse!  That's certainly interesting.  Well the RP isn't full, and your OC seems to conform to the rules so I don't see any reason why he can't be accepted.  Just be aware that this is meant to be a slice of life RP, so a lot of the elements from FMA, such as the government conspiracy and the homuculi, wouldn't really fit in this setting (also, we wouldn't want to spoil anything for people who haven't read/seen FMA).  As for OC critique, it's sort of tough since he's based so heavily off of the character.  Maybe a little design thing; while a cool concept, isn't having the blood seal on the outside of the armor and as his cutie mark a little dangerous?  It wouldn't take too much to mess up the seal and kill him...

Okay, I'm not the DM but I will throw some "constructive" criticism your way. Other than the fact that this is pretty much the ponified version of Alphonse Elric (FMA:B ftw!) there honestly isn't anything really original about this OC. I like anime as much as the next guy here but adding an anime personality and ponifying doesn't seem all that original. The design is good i'll give it that and it's a little original but I don't think you could even consider this OC a earth pony at all. It would make a little bit of sense if you went with the logic of FMA and similar to how Ed ended up in London you could twist it a little saying that Al ended up in Equestria as a pony and without the armor.

 

Now this is just my opinion on this and i'm not at all an expert when it comes to OC's, but honestly I think you could've done much better if you created one that wasn't based heavily off an anime. Otherwise, it doesn't really seem that original as the character's personality and backstory was already established. Not only that but it leaves very little to work with as the only thing that would honestly be left is the design. I apologize if this post seems mean or rude at all but i'm just giving some feedback on your OC. Personally, I think you would be better off making another one that isn't heavily based off an anime.
