OK, so I had a discussion with slimmyjimjim, realized that I may have goofed in my last post, so I am going to edit that right now. Sorry about that. Consider that a deleted scene.

I was thinking attack him with full force just thrust your claws in him I think im going to have him explode into a giant beam of light that either attracts all the other changelings and zaps them like a bug light. Or it'll drice the changelings into over drive making them openly attack ponyville and the elements of harmony are used to blast them away like in the season 2 finale. You guys choose.

So part 1 of the next post will essentially just be Nexus killing him.

 

I was thinking that killing him would cause anarchy among the changeling ranks, causing most to flee-as their leader and hive mind was just killed-while some would head to Ponyville and try to attack. But it would only be about 10 or so changelings out of the entire invasion force that came. However, Nexus will likely be stuck in his half pony/half changeling form.

I think I picked the wrong time to come in and check on this topic. I will agree that we need to get some mares in here. Every one we had jump in has left us about a week later.... 

 

If you are OK with that ending to this arc-Virus dying, Nexus nearly dying, the changelings retreating, save for like 10 that give it a go anyway-then I will make the post.

Yes this well be the last fight of all time. I well start posting her in when I finish on this post. This well be the big end game. Yes is time to end all this Changelings invasion the next maybe 3 post it will end before the weekend. Well I hope. I don't remember hearing anything about Chrysalis appearing. From what I understand it is Virus that is in charge of this invasion, similar to a general. Rarely do the commanders actually get into the fight, with the exception being the Royal Wedding. I could be wring, if everyone wants to have her show up, thats fine, but I think that we should wrap up this story arc. IMO

I understand you want to fish it as fast as you can. I gust give a little thought to give it a Big End like. You and Slimmyjimjim  kill the virus and Chrisalis come and she us here magic fight you and Slimmyjimjim. You and Slimmyjimjim were losing on tell Twilight and her Friends us The Elments of Hamadey and defeats her and the changelings. For me that's a Big Ending of all this.

There is a flaw I can see in that idea. The problem is that Chrysalis is never said to be a part of the invasion. The plot that has been established-and I can confirm with slimmyjimjim to be sure-is that Parcel, who was at the time known as Boon, desired to leave the hive. Chrysalis created Virus, and infected Parcel before he left. The plan was that eventually a pony would have enough compassion to willingly allow themselves to be fed on to keep him alive. That would infect the pony in question, and turn Parcel back into a mindless changeling. He would then take control of the pony-being Nexus-and go on to take Ponyville. His plan hit a wrench when Nexus and Parcel fought him out of the bat ponies mind. But in doing so, he gained a physical form, and is still in control. When he dies, it will throw the changelings into chaos, as he is controlling the invasion force, not Chrysalis. She set the stage, but was never directly involved with the attack. Her appearing out of the blue wouldn't make much sense. I respect your desire for a grander finale, but the way it is set up, it can only logically end with Virus.

I agree with actfast though I qould love to see chrysalis it would be a bit of continuity plus I think I'm controling too many ponies right now and I don't like doing cannon characters unless someone else does her.

You mean like maybe her having an appearance later in the RP? That would make sense. Her general does get killed, naturally she is going to want to check in on the pony or ponies that did it. But not right away, there should be a cooldown between adventures, the social aspect if you will...

 

Let me know if I get too bossy, BTW. I don't want anyone to feel like I am completely taking over.

 

Now I just got to wait for confirmation from Corkscrew before I post.

Yes I know what you mean but is a flaw to the RP now like a Virus Control the invasion of ponyville. How is he telling all the Changelings what to do in the start. He was in parcel when he fed on Nexus he got infected with the Virus. On all that some how he tell the changelings what to do. How a Virus who was in an Changeling and tell the other Changelings to invade ponyville. It make some sense if Chrisalis was in ponyville but in disguise like know one well know. Yes in the stowe we are in now Chrisalis was not in here but that make it more interesting. But hi You guys start it you can end it in your own way.

 

It gust a idea I had when we all start it to put Chrisalis she was in charge of the invasion. But you guys post so fast when I read what you put down I have no chance to put it down. This like my last time to put it in. But in the end if everyone say no Chrisalis then I have no choice but continue on.

earlier in the rp i tried to establish that chrysalis had replaced princess celestia but it was too subtle and it was forgotten about i think it's too late to do that now but we shouldnt rule it out as an option

Holy shit that was a brilliant idea. Celestia sending in Parcel, infected with Virus, to the sight of the next changeling invasion to start the invasion through Virus. It was so easily missed at the time though. That would likely solidify her coming in later, if it is upheld.

On top of that, Nexus was suffering the effects of mind control, and nearly turned, but was able to enter his own mind, and merge with his demon, so to speak. He is gearing up for a final fight in a half pony/half changeling form, which ends in Virus's death, Nexus near death, the changelings retreating, but a few attacking anyway. I was wondering if it was cool if I write up the final post for this arc.
