Just out of curiosity, why won´t your family move into a bigger town, closer to some relatives?

Military.

But anyway, I don't have any relatives that live in Colorado, I used to have an uncle who lived in Ft. Collins but he and his wife moved to Arkansas.

All my other relatives are all the way in the Philippines. The ones who live in the US live in either northern California or Oregon.

i'm legally able to get a license, but have no interest in getting a license.

You'll never guess what I dreamt about.

Driving is actually fun though. Especially when you have a nice speaker system with crazy awesome bass.

Turn that sh!t down, some of us are trying to sh-- I mean, drive!!!

if i never learned how to bike, i don't have much hopes to drive a car.

Bike much? (I never learnt to bike.)

I learned to bike a long time ago, and I know how to do it. xD Biking can be an easy way to get around, especially if I want to go just to the shopping areas near my house, a bike is a good way to go.

But driving is still easier, and I prefer it.

Living in the middle of nowhere isn't that fun, I have for 13 years, and I am glad I live in civilization now, and I am closer to people to hang out with and such.

Oh, I dunno, like, the bus? Or in some places, trams, streetcars, subways, trains, high-speed rail...

Ehh, we're pretty rural in my area, so we only ever have buses.

Well I have never heard of that type being called "Mass transit." I have always called it "public transportation" and that's what I knew it by.

I figured that is what mass transit was but I wanted to double check before I would go on and answer, that's all.

But yeah. I do not use that type or transportation and never really have except for rare occasion.

well, for music, i'm gonna need a lot more than just 16 GB. i was interested in one of those iPod Classics, but they use a mechanical drive...

You're not gonna find any kind of mp3 player with enough space for the amount of music that you've got. 32gb I think is the largest right now. Or at least, the largest ive seen.

Classic ones go up to 160 GB, being a mechanical drive. the downside with this, though, is that it makes the device very fragile to bumps, as per regular harddrives.

Oh yeah, I forgot the super old ones had retardedly large harddrives.

Well, ive never had one of those, so I cant say how easily it gets messed up.

My father has an old iPod from like the 3rd generation of the original. It has the regular magnetic hard drive instead of Flash Memory.

The iPod classics I think have flash memory in them it's just at a larger quantity, I think, but don't quote me on that because I'm not entirely sure.

The highest the iPods go is 64 GB for the touch or nano's, other ones go higher.

My iPod touch is a 64 GB I just need it fixed. >.>

The 64 GB iPod touches are pretty expensive, but if you get the earlier generations like a G3 iPod touch 64 GB it would be much cheaper.

Mine is a G4 and it is cracked badly, the lock button doesn't even work, I wish it did. Though the iPod is functional though, which is a good thing.

I kinda wish HTC made a 32GB version of my phone. A 64GB version would be nice too, but right now the only 64GB Windows Phone devices are Nokia Lumia 1020s (y'know, the phones with the giant circles on the back) sold on Teléfonica in Spain and Latin America.

What I like about android phones is they have a microSD card slot.

My phone has 8 GB of storage that is internal, and then it also has a MicroSD card slot and I have a 32 GB MicroSD card in it and it reads it nicely.

That's the downside of the apple devices, is that it has no external memory slots, so you are stuck with what's internal.

Guys, you know how I said how I wished it would rain where I'm at? Well, it did. A lot. And it knocked out the power. For 5 hours. It was so concerning that during the outage, I went back to the store to get a battery backup for my system.

Staring at it at the floor from my chair makes it concerning.

Oh yes, I tried to access MLP Forums on my phone. Didn't work. I also tried to sign in to Youtube from my phone. Google nearly blocked me.

So yeah, I basically said to myself at one point that I wouldn't need a battery backup because I almost never experience outages, probably one major outage once in every 200 days. Except that I experienced an outage while I was using my personal supercomputer.

That rang alarm bells within me. I thought we'd have those 60-second blackouts spaced every 5-10 minutes, but when I thought that was the case, boom. No power for hours.

And here's the weird part. My town is powered strangely. Here's what happened: The west end of my town was completely without power, but on the east end of the town, it's freakin' powered!!! And don't ask me about the north end of the town... Hint: It's a military base with an independent power line.

Well I have never heard of that type being called "Mass transit." I have always called it "public transportation" and that's what I knew it by.

Well, I think "mass transit" kinda means the same thing, and it's more general-ish...

Aren't SSDs more superior than those mechanical derps? I mean, I'm pretty sure you can't do this with an SSD:

Sometimes the power line system can be complicated, but I would love to learn about them and where they go, since well you know, I am interested in power lines.

I know one area in my town called the "Denver Federal Center" and they have their own power line separate from the main primary, there is a 115 KV line that branches from the nearby transmission lines and goes straight to the Federal Center's own substation, so it's more on it's own independent power.

You can see that substation on US 6 because the power line goes right over the freeway and the substation is right next to it.

But it's not military but it has something to do with government so they wanted a separate thing from the main residential areas.

Lower-end Windows Phones (such as the Nokia Lumia 521 or HTC 8XT) have MicroSD slots, but not higher-end ones. I've heard that the reason why higher-end phones don't have a slot is because a SD card introduces latency, which can cause slowdown, and since Windows Phone is supposed to give you a fast, smooth experience (really, it does, even on a single-core processor) that wouldn't be very good. The only high-end Windows Phone that does have a microSD card slot is the Samsung Ativ S (and the Ativ S Neo variant.) High-end Nokia and HTC devices do not.

fuckin' internet.
