Stream? Why would I watch a stream? I know people are always saying that watching and listening to babbling brooks is relaxing, but I just don't see the appeal...

The old one? I'd say go find a way to play it and enjoy it.

 

If you like gore, I'd also suggest getting the Brutal DooM mod for it and playing it that way as its hella glorious and it changes a few things that I think are really nice changes.
