yeah that's why, I lived in a city with over a million people (which is massive in Canadian standards)

and now I live in one with less then 50 000, and there are other towns around in the same manicipality, some with less then a 1000

naturally houses in a small town are much-much cheaper (unless they are on a lakeside)

so yeah I'll get a big house and a huge plot of land, but it will be in the middle of a tiny town surrounded by corn for miles (which is what i want, its what I always wanted)

back home I would have barely been able to afford a shitty 1 room (like bachalor-sp?) appartment, in a shady neighbourhood

but if you like the city thats the price

 

i plan to have bees, chickens...maybe a dog. never had one growing up
