I think that what we're really describing is some type of status updates that are specific to the RP section. I could do that, I think, but I'm not sure what the others on the administrative team would think about it. I'm planning to pitch a few ideas to them this weekend, so I will include that in my list of pitches. We'll see what happens... I've been a bit too under the weather due to work to do much heavy lifting over the weekdays... But, over the holidays, I'm going to have some 4 day weekends that I intend to get *a lot* of work done during.

1. Not much happening. One of the characters is going out to assassin somepony (he's the guy who dropped out, and he's yet to put in his final post). Everypony else is eating breakfast at a Canterlot restaurant right now.

It's basically a Slice-o-Life RP. The train depart from Ponyville, carrying eight passengers, onward to the west, stopping by at various cities along the way. There is some random events going on along the way. Ganaram specifically said anypony can start any kind of incidents

 

So far there is a flying book (which slammed into somepony's head), a bump on the rail (destroyed Beat Spark's mane, who managed to break the train's electricity when he tried to fix his hair), and a case of racism followed with some framing shit. Currently everyone is on Canterlot, eating breakfast.

 

Aur... Poor Aur is even more under the weather than I am.

This is either me being lazy on my part or there really isn't enough tags, but before I started my own RP, I found it astronomically difficult to see which RP was about. I'm not seeing any sort of tag system in the OOC subforum whatsoever... Yes, I know there's the itty-bitty arrow button, but that's limited to the first hundred words or something...

 

And dude, get some rest. Sickness is the body's way of telling you that you're too stressed out.

 

I remember all too well of the last time I had that happened to me, but oddly enough, I have no recollection of what happened prior to it; I was disappointed with something on the forums, and then one day, I woke up on a Friday really really ill; I didn't feel like I could operate at all.

His schoolwork has nuked him. To put it mildly, he is totally and completely swamped beyond what most rational individuals can even imagine. The poor guy is buried under tons and tons and tons of schoolwork. His parents are insistent on nothing but the highest grades, which doesn't help. Yet, he still manages to supervise rp world. The guy really is amazing, but I really can't pitch the idea of more work to him. Now, if I could come up with something that makes it take a bit less work, then that would definitely be good. I might chew on this for few months though.

 

You see, the idea has come around of really heavily customizing RP World. Then, we are currently right around the corner from a major version of IP.Board. Currently, my thoughts are leaning towards delaying until the next major version and then going all out within RP World. We'll see how it works out... In the meantime, I think that I am going to get some sleep.

Don't push yourself too much on the customization! If something is dead impossible, you don't have to delve too much in it :x

not completelly slice of life, because we aren't in the same location, actually it has more of adventures, because each location is very different, of course there's no specific purpose of the game (each character may or not have a mission to do), in my case, Beat Spark doesn't have any major goal, he just want to travel... but right now we have a very delicate situation that it is about to blow up in Canterlot regarding a VERY expensive necklace being stolen. :x

Say, things will go south extremely fast if Beat Spark shows the necklace over the table, and somepony do something incredibly stupid which somehow caused the necklace flying over the restaurant then ends up in a flaming stove.

Or, the necklace actually have some nasty curse

A green earth pony, quite upbeat

as Nocturnal, Draco and Beat were having their conversation, they could hear a voice yelling in the other side of the car's door, then, it was abruptly opened by apparently a mare that was rolling on the floor like a little filly...

of course Beat was unamused, and threw a dirty look at her:

"such a cute lady acting like a small filly...this is outrageous!" he mumbled. But he noticed that Noctural never changed the look on his face. "maybe he thinks that this lady is acticing like a little brat too...hmmm, what's wrong with his face? why always that expression? he creeps me out a lot!" he thought.
