Yes they did, although they used to be made of leather with no facemask. I couldn't imagine playing back then, especially when their medicine wasn't that great. They were optional at one point, and some players played without them.

Yeah. I'm starting to use it SLIGHTLY more. More so that I give an idea that I agree with an OK, and don't want to write. That's basically what I've used brohoofs more. That, and some posts elsewhere that REALLY deserved one, in my opinion.

AKA, back when the hospitals where proably getting richer and richer with ALL the injuries that happened back then. At least now it's SLIGHTLY more safe. I don't know a sport that isn't safe though.

I'm a casual Chess player. Not very good, but I can at least give the competitive players a hard time before my imminent, utter defeat

I'm not a shipper sans Rarity and Spike, OR Rarity and Fancypants. After that, I wouldn't really ship anyone else. That's not to mean I don't enjoy shipping stories. I have a read a lot of them, actually.

Ah. But seriously, you didn't seem like someone who would play chess. But then again, I would be a hypocrite. I'm QUITE hyperactive and distracted...difference being, I am quite the thinker too. I don't mind chess, but I'm not a good player.

 

And huh...interesting...I wouldn't know if I'm a good multitastker. I DO know that I'm quite good at giving attention AND getting distracted. Sounds weird, but it's the truth. Give me something and I'll be utterly concentrated (I even took a test called the Toulouse test that I did very good results in)...ironically, I can distract myself TOO easily...buck me.
