Nothing a hammer to the head couldn't solve

 

On a serious note, try tidying up your bed first (make sure everything is comfortable, the room's temperature should be nice, and there is no wind blowing straight to your body)

Eat something solid before you go to the bed (bread, potato, fruits like mango or apple)

Wear something nice, there should be no itchy or raggedy parts from the clothes

If you often got this brilliant ideas while trying to sleep, prepare something to write with near your bed

You like any calm music? Then set it on infinite loop with low volume

Try reading something mildly interesting but not too interesting, like TVTropes page or wikipedia with your phone. Things will get sleepy by boredom

I'm about to entertain myself by modifying a Lucky Charms cereal box in photoshop. Unlucky Charms with Derpy on it, and also the "They're Tragically Delicious" subtitle. Wish me luck, results will be posted here, eventually.
