Wow, today has been a hectic day, I have to work tomorrow for a full 8 hour shift tomorrow. And tomorrow marks my 6th month mark. Things are going okays but I need to watch out giving advice to the managers, even the lowest rank managers there. They don't like that and I already got an informal discussion not to do that. Other than that work is going okay I guess. I do need to keep this job though, I have lots of bills I have to deal with.. >.<

 

So who is here at this time tonight? I am not going to be on for much longer. I am pretty tired, today was not the best day for me. But I am gonna relax before I have to go to sleep for work tomorrow.

Walmart, just a cashier. So yeah. Not the worst job, and also it has a lot less bull meh than other jobs I have. I get along with most of my coworkers, and I don't really get a hard time from my managers except for one really.. But yeah. I need to keep the job for now and start doing school at some point.. I want to be either linepony (lineman) or electrician or something like that. I need to get some training, schooling, and experience too...

What do you have a degree in? I am just curious. I used to be unemployed, I just got this job by luck I guess, and that was exactly 6 months ago from today is when I had my orientation. (October 14th)

 

So I get more leeway now and stuff like that at least. I have been really reliable at my job so yeah. Have you had any experience before?

It's a BA in English.  No teacher licensure.  I've technically had a couple of jobs before, before I got the degree, one in an answering service (which I will never do again) and one in fast food (which I also will never do again).  Worked at one for 2 months, the other, 3 days.  Management was crap there.  Everyone was quitting.  They had me training people on my third day, even though no one had trained me.  It was stupid.

 

Six months is much better than I've done, anyhow.
