Pinkie Pie and the Joker Coloring WIP

This is the result of browsing dA at two o'clock in the morning with Hans Zimmer's Joker's Theme blasting through my headphones. The original lineart was done by Joey Darkmeat on DeviantArt (caution: most of his artwork is NSFW, and some of them are kind of weird. Others, like this one, are flat out awesome.)

 

Anyway, I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do about the Joker. I have sort of a color scheme in mind, but it doesn't look right with purple gloves, and it's too much green if I have green gloves. So some help on the color scheme would be appreciated.
