Most books fail to get my intersest and bore the living shit out of me. The only book I REALLY like is The Catcher in the Rye. I've also read a few poems by Edgar Allan Poe that I like. Do you know of any books that I might like?

Have you read The Great Gatsby? That's one of the books that I find most intertwined with The Catcher in the rye! I'm sure you could google some other books written in the same style and in the same time period as Catcher :)

If you want an interesting book I would suggest a science fiction book called Dragon's Egg by Robert L. Forward. The story is about the possibility of life on a neutron star. and then also try it's sequel Starquake. both stories kept me reading for hours.

Hm, normally I'd ask what kind of books you like, but that wouldn't really help in this sort of situation tongue.png. I might give Catch-22 by Joseph Heller a try. It's a World War 2 novel that manages to be freaking hilarious and incredibly dark at the same time. It's pretty unique.

If you're into science fiction, right now I'm halfway through Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood, and I would definitely recommend it, though it starts off a little boring.

I don't really like science fiction, I read part of Fahrenheit 451 and it was okay I guess. I prefer something dark, I was thinking about reading Dracula by Bram Stoker.

H.P. Lovecraft is an amazing writer but his stories are kinda science fiction/ fantasy. Never the less they are all very good stories i really enjoyed at the mountains of madness and would recommend trying it.

The original story of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley is a classic. If you're into the horror genre, I also recommend anything by Stephen King. His shorter stories usually go into the plot right away but as for his larger books, they're very detailed and take some time. They're definitely worth the read though. Once the plot truly starts, it's hard to put any of his books down.
