Beat walked closer and picked up the mares hoof. He kissed it before grinning up at her. "The one and the only...Beat Drop. It is quite nice to meet you Miss Accent." He said.  "And yes. I was invited...out of the blue, I have never really been anyplace like this...and I have no idea who sent the letter...but I heard tropical island and knew that it was my kinda party. Pretty mares." He winked. "ice cold drinks, sunny beaches. What more could a pony ask for ?"

Oh great... This is going to be fun. I can already tell he's wanting to flirt... *sighs* Let's just play along.

 

"Well, it's good to meet you, Beat. I was also invited out of nowhere, but I figured that I didn't have anything to do, so... Why not just come here for some excitement?", Accent said, rolling her eyes a little from his hinting of her being pretty.

Max followed behind the three ponies, and like the rest, he found himself humming along to the song. He the sun dried him very quick, and now he smelled like salt water. After the singing concluded, Max trotted up to the other side of their host.

"*whistle* That was one heck of a welcome their mister...?" Max said, trying to get a name. The house they were approaching looked very luxurious, and he couldn't wait to find a place to rest his hooves and wings after the long trip here.

"Couldn't agree more. I am on break...i'm a touring DJ and I was taking a couple weeks off in Ponyville so...I figured why not go for a free vacation. It seems fate has brought us together...come on, I don't want us to be left behind." He said, trotting off down the dock but stopping to look back at Accent. "You coming, Gorgeous ?" He asked, giving her another charming grin.

Touring? Oh, great... He's on the road too.

 

"All right, I'm sure that the host is somewhere around here...", Accent replied, following Beat out of the docking area. "So, Beat... You said you tour? That's kind of interesting. I mainly do some gigs here and there. Mainly just for some fun, other for the nice pay."

"You're on tour as well ? Let me guess...your cutie mark...which goes quite well with your nice flank...anyway, your cutie mark is two drum sticks, your name is Accent Tap...which leads me to guessing that you play...the drums ?" He said, trotting next to her down the dock.

"Yep. Best drummer you'll see on this side of Equestria. Well... I heard of this other pony... I think his name was Percussive. He's got the same features as me.", Accent said, continuing onto the trail, and staring a bit at the path ahead.

"I am sure he is nothing compared to your musical abilities. I would love to hear you play sometime." He said, only just noticing a small group of ponies walking towards the house. "There...that must be the rest of the guests." He said, gesturing at the group.

"That could be them... Let's go and see.", she replied as the two started to trot towards the group. While Beat wasn't watching, she quickly made a gag movement of holding a gun to her head and pulling the trigger. She only thought that he was going to be stalking the hell out of her for the next few moments...

As Lorcan finished the song he turned to the mare who was speaking to him. "Oh yes! I did forget to introduce myself." He said as he came upon his front door.He then opened it and revealed the inside of his huge estate. "My name is Lorcan the Dam- i mean the Dapper!" He said as he made up the lie about his name. "I will tell you were invited later.Oh and thank you, i do believe in grand gestures of the welcoming kind." Lorcan said as he looked at the other ponies.

 

"Now that I have told you my name, Why don't you share yours? After introductions i can give you a tour of my house." Lorcan said.

"Well, hi, I'm Windy Scamper. But most ponies call me Scamps..." Her ears perked up at the mention of a name. "Percuss? Yeah, I've met him a few times. You kinda look like him," she said to the mare apparently names Accent Tap. "Well, hi, I guess. And same to you, um....Beat...Drop...?" She said curiously, hoping she had overheard his name right.

"My name is Max. Pleased to meet you." Max said, extending a hoof to shake.

"Thank you for inviting us to this incredible island. I am looking forward to my time here." Max has never been in any tropical area. He looked forward to exploring the island and, of course, more swimming in the ocean. That was very refreshing.

Beat nodded then heard a voice...a mare seemed to have appeared...out of nowhere (Seriously...when did Scamps get there ?) "Ah yet another lovely mare. And yes, I am Beat Drop. May I ask your name, sweetheart ?" He asked.

"My name is Star Song." She said, glancing at the colt (Max) who had just spoke...he was rather cute...

"Pleasure to meet you Star Song." Max said brightly. He was in a very good mood. Between the island and hospitality, he felt like nothing could kill the mood. Looking at Star Song, he found her to be quiet good looking.

"I like the stripes. The really compliment you." Max said courteously.

"Oh, um, I'm Windy Scamper. But, er, Scamps is fine, too." She added. "I'm pleased to meet you," she finished, trying to sound like a polite pony. "The island sure is beautiful," she noted while looking around. She took in ghe scenery of the ocean, the palm trees, and the white sand. She had neve rbeen on eto appreciate art, but she knew beauty when she saw it.

So that's his gist... He loves to compliment mares a bunch.  Got him now. Next time he pulls that shtick against me, I'll just shove a drumstick into somewhere where it hurts...

Star's cheeks turned a bright shade of pink. "Th-thank you." She said in her quietest voice. She felt happy somepony actually likes them...usually ponies think they're ugly.

Max wasn't sure, but it sounded like she just thanked him. The only time he had heard anypony speak so softly was when he accidentally walked into a yellow mare. To this day, he wasn't sure if she apologized or simply squeaked. She left so fast he didn't get a chance to get clarification. Max was getting off topic, so he decided to try and make conversation.

"Isn't this island amazing? I can tell this is going to be a great vacation." He said in his ever present bright demeanor.

Lorcan moved his pipe from side to side with his mouth. "So we have Windy Scamper, Max, and Star Song!" He said with a smile on his face.

Lorcan than heard a pony speak to him. "Hello there, as i said before we are just introducing ourselves to one another. I am Lorcan, by the way." He said as he took another puff of his pipe.

Imagine trots after him, and comes to see him, burst out into song and dance. She looks confused, but even she did it sometimes. Afterward, he introduced himself. Imagine gave a weak smile and said, "My name is Imagine, I.....am quite excited for this! Thanks a bunches!"

He extended his own hoof. He noticed Star blushing at Max's compliment, and chuckled. He wasn't here specifically to meet a mare, but there were some pretty ones.

"I must compliment your estate, Lorcan."

Star nodded happily. "Mhmm." She said, cutely. She looked up at Nightfall and smiled. "Thank you for helping me with that...I think I am going to go hang out my clothes so they're ready to use when I need them. Where did you say the clothesline was ?" She asked, looking at Lorcan.

Max, while pleased that Star agreed with him, noticed the minimalist response.

"Maybe she is really shy? I don't want to force her...or anypony out of their comfort zone." He thought. He then came to wonder about something.

"So Lorcan, where shall we be sleeping? I assume that if we are staying in your home, we shall have to share rooms?" Max ask curiously. He had yet to think of such things, and wondered about the possibility of sharing a room.

"Cant be that bad. Guess it depends on the roommate." He pondered, glancing over at the others.

Star nodded happily. "Mhmm." She said, cutely. She looked up at Nightfall and smiled. "Thank you for helping me with that...I think I am going to go hang out my clothes so they're ready to use when I need them. Where did you say the clothesline was ?" She asked, looking at Lorcan.

"Oh! Of course."

He smiled, setting the suitcase right beside her for ease of access. He didn't want to sound or look creepy, though, as stalking or obsessing over a mare was not his nature. And if he looked too... Too creepy, she may not want to talk to him again.

"Well, I, um...thanks," she said, in respone to Beat's comment. "So, anyways, Accent, I overheard you're a drummer. That's really cool. Not a lot of ponies can coordinate their hooves like that. I guess I'm the opposite; my hooves have to move really slow in order to do my job right. So, anyways, if we have roommates, do you want to be mine? Cause, you're like, the only mare I've met on this island so far, so, yeah."
