Star had kinda guessed that when he said that he doesn't mind a roommate depending on who they are...he meant her...but when he said that he wished they had met that made it so much more obvious and she turned a bright shade of pink. "Y-Yea...you seem nice t-too." She said.

Max's own face followed Star's example with a faint red tint.

"Thanks. I uhh..yeah." faking a cough, Max decided to move it along.

"Maybe we should head inside and get living conditions sorted out." He said as he trotted towards the luxury home. He decided to mimic Star's actions from before, turning his head back towards her. 

"Shall we?"

"Oh alright." Lorcan said stopping i the walkway. "so we have the rooms to the right, which have a view of the ocean and then we have the rooms on the left which have a view of the rest of the island." He said. He quickly ran from room to room inspecting them. "Actually i think these are all soundproofed. Weird i don't remember asking for it." He thought out loud. trotting back to Nightfall, Lorcan smiled and asked, "So what is your decision....milord"

 

This time, Nightfall laughed out loud heartily.

"Aight, you got me that time. Do you want me to act like royalty for the vacation, or would you rather have me be a slob."

He kept laughing.

"I'll take one of the rooms with the beach view, please. I don't care which one, though."

Imagine looked at all the ponies talking, she was generally talkative, but this time, she didn't have a clue of what to say, she suggested she come back here later, and since she would be going to a tropical island, she would have to pack, so she went back to her hoouse, which was a normal house splattered with paint blots, (Frostfire's Fault) she just trotted happily into her house and packed up. She needed time away from her house, and needed to get away from her adopted little brother, Frostfire.

Lorcan laughed as he continued talking to Nightfall, "Hey, you are my NOBLE guest. You can act however you want." Lorcan the stood next to a room. "I will put you here, a room away from Beat Drop. That way you got ladies in between you." He said with a smirk on his face.

Lorcan laughed as he continued talking to Nightfall, "Hey, you are my NOBLE guest. You can act however you want." Lorcan the stood next to a room. "I will put you here, a room away from Beat Drop. That way you got ladies in between you." He said with a smirk on his face. 

 

"I'm not quite noble, but hey, who cares, right? I'm here to have fun and enjoy myself."

And he chuckled again when Lorcan mentioned putting a mare in the room between him and Beat Drop. He rolled his eyes a little and trotted into his room.

"This place is sweet! So, when's dinner?"

Star nodded and pulled her wet suitcase over to Max then proceeded towards the entrance of Lorcan's home. "Do you have any idea where we're gonna be staying ?" She asked, looking up at Max as the two of them reached the entrance to the beautiful beach house.

"Okay. I guess we can ask the host stallion....Locran, right? Yeah, anyways, we can ask him if we can room. I'm so excited for this! I've never been so close to the ocean before!" She got so excited, that she began to sing. (Someone's gotta do it.)

Accent listened on to Scamper's melodic voice, actually very interested in what she was hearing. She had a nice singing voice... It echoed up to the door as they both walked inside. Immediately, Accent was shocked at the interior of the building.

 

"Whoa! This place is huge!", she exclaimed, her voice echoing through the foyer.

"Why don't we ask him?" Max said, addressing their host.

"We are here to sort out some living conditions." Max said politely. He glanced over at Star, noticing that he had to look down a little more to see her. He had forgotten that he stood a little taller than normal ponies, coming in just below Luna in height. He even had to look down slightly when addressing Lorcan.

Scamps finished singing as she and Accent walked into the house. "Wow, this is just as cool!" She said. She overheard somepony talk about living conditions. She quickly trotted up next to him. "Yeah, my friend Accent, and I, needed to do the samd thing. We would like to be roommates for the duration of this trip."

" And enjoy yourself you shall" Lorcan said. "Oh so now i have to feed you? HAHA I'm just kidding! As soon as everypony gets situated, I will begin dinner." He was having too much fun socializing with the guests. He then trotted downstairs to find more of the guests standing there.

Lorcan looked up at the tall pony. "Max right? Well i got rooms for all of you.Would you like to pick yours out?"

"Yep, that's right! Me and Scamper here would like to room together, if that would be all right!", Accent replied, taking a look at her host.

 

He's not that bad looking... A lot nicer than Beat for sure.... I wonder what the rooms would look like... Probably big also. Yay.

"Sure, a room with a view of the island would be nice." Max was amazed that the scope of this place. He could only imagine what the rooms would be like. When hearing the other patrons speak, something clicked in Max's head.

"Oh, so we are allowed our separate rooms." Max said with slight disappointment in his voice. He immediately wanted to punch himself for the tone of voice he carried.

"What the buck was that? Man you are terrible at being social." Shutting the critical voice up, he began thinking of a good recovery line for that. He wasn't doing a good job.

Beat fished setting his things up before trotting down stairs to see Lorcan, Accent and Scamps all chatting. "Good afternoon Ladies, and Lorcan of course." He winked at Accent before stepping out the door to get a better look at the water. He glanced back inside and looked at Lorcan. "You don't mind if I take a look around the island do you ?" He asked.

"Thank Celestia she didn't notice." Max put on a smile and faced Star.

"Sure, lets head upstairs." He began to walk upstairs. With Star following behind, he looked around until he found a room with an amazing view of the island.

"This looks good." He said, signaling Star to enter. The room had velvet red carpet, what looked to be the softest bed in Equestria, a mini fridge, A large step out patio with an epic view, this was a very nice room. Then Max remembered that he was hunting for two rooms.

"Oh, um...Did you want this room, or...what were you thinking?" Max said nervously. He wasn't as paranoid as before, but still steeled himself for an unpleasant answer.

Nightfall chuckled, and set his saddlebag down on the bed. He went to the window and opened it. He looked out, and sighed very happily. He felt a little alone, as if he were out of a loop, but the fact that he was in such a place at such a time made him feel warm and fuzzy inside.

"You are my guests and if thats what you want then that is what you shall get!" Lorcan said with enthusiasm in his voice.

Lorcan looked at Beat. "A lot of energy or just looking to kill some time? Either way go ahead, when the food is ready I'll call for you."

 

Lorcan then directed Accent and Scamper up the stairs. "Just pick the room you wish to share."He said as he trotted towards Max and Star.

Star giggled. "I am happy as long as I have a bed...this one looks nice too." She said, opening the door right across the hall. This one had a wonderful view of the ocean and would probably have an even better view of the sunrise. "Which one do you want ?" She asked. She thought staying in the same room may be taking it a little too far a little too soon...so right across the hall from each other was perfect.

Then she heard Lorcan come up the stairs and ask if they were going to share a room. Star turned a bright shade of pink and looked at Max...hoping he would make the decision.

Beat nodded and trotted off towards the beach.
He happily walked down the beach until the house wasn't in sight. pulled off his vest and placed it on the sand before jumping into the water, thinking about things...by that I mean Accent. *I bet she hates me...maybe I should up my game...* he thought.

There is a section in Max's brain that is reserved for big decisions. It isn't active very often, but it powered up in this instant. He looked around him, recalling what Star had said, and seeing her bright red face. It took a good 5 seconds before a conclusion was made and put into words.

"I think I will take this room-the one with the island view-and Star, if she wants, can take the one across the hall here. If that satisfies you both." Max said in the most professional voice he could muster. That sounded...reasonable, adult, and didn't hint at his desire for companionship.

"Don't get cocky, that will likely be your crowning achievement for this vacation." He didn't care. He actually was smooth. So he internally celebrated this victory.

Star nodded. "Kay...I'll just move my stuff into here then." She said, pulling her  nearly empty suitcase, guitar and violin into the room. Her violin sat on top of her suitcase and her guitar was strapped to her back. She placed everything next to her beg and stretched her wings, feeling quite sleepy.

"Alright, I need to unpack as well." He said before entering his room. He stored his concierge and fedora in the *large* closet, and put the potions in the mini fridge. The very next thing that he did was fall onto the bed, which if he didn't know better he would assume it to be a cloud, and started removing the damaged feathers and realigning the others. This proved a difficult-but not impossible-task.

"Yeah, sure, we can take the room," Scamps finished for Accent. "Colt, this is going to be the funnest time ever! It'll be nice to just forget about life for a bit, you know? Just be away from everypony I know, and such." She carried her bags up to her room and laid them down next to one of the beds. "I'm going to go meet everypony else down in the lobby. I'll unpack later. You wanna come?"

Star had nothing to unpack so...she fell back onto her bed, letting out a relaxed sigh as she did so. She glanced at her wings and noticed how disheveled they looked she reached into her bag and pulled out what looked like a brush but a little bigger. She brought it through her feathers straightening the ones that seemed a little off. It also made them look very clean and tidy.
After doing that she pulled out a normal brush and began brushing her mane and tail.

Beat got out of the water and shook himself off before putting his jacket back on.
He began trotting back down the beach but stopped when he saw a patch of pretty blue yellow and orange flowers. He grinned and used his magic to pick a couple before walking down the beach back to the house.
He trotted inside and went up to Accent's and Scamps's rooms. He tapped on the door.

"Uh, I'll meet you down there in just a sec. I'll unpack here right now.", Accent said to Scamper, as she placed down her bags to the opposite bed, staring a bit at the room. She wanted to unpack to see how much good of acoustics this room had; she just needed Scamper out of the room.
