Lorcan froze for a second as he heard her words.

"I can get you a ring....and an island. As for the colt.Why not me?" He said as his heart was beating faster.

could she be hinting at what i think she's hinting at? He thought as he looked into her blushing face. Lorcan hoped that she was wanting to be his wife. 

 

"Lorcan... there is no other colt for but you; you are the only colt I want to live with forever."

"Just tell him you want to marry him. Just do it. You've pretty much blown your cover already."

"I, um..."

She hesitated, then dropped her voice low.

"I want to be married to you forever."

Accent had just winced a bunch from everything that had happened... She-he looked over to Beat, who was still extremely... er... affected by the events... She-he tried to get him-her to face her-him.

 

"Beat... God dang, my voice is low... Look... I don't think that this is such a bad thing... I mean, this is still a healthy relationship, just different genders..."

Beat just nodded. "Its just...Max...that was such an ass thing to do. I apologized. Dragon or not, he's still an ass." She said.

Star knelt down beside him and patted him on the back. "Its okay..." She said, pulling him into a tight hug.

Max found himself hugging Star tightly now. He didn't know how he got in this position, nor did he care. He felt terrible. Terrible about threatening Beat, looting the house, yelling at Star. He lost himself. He lost himself to his draconic nature. He wouldn't let it happen again. He was sobbing into Stars shoulder now.

"I...I...s-s-sorry." Was all he could choke out. He would have to explain himself later, but he needed to compose himself first.

Accent had no idea what to say at this point, so she-he started to pet his-her mane, trying to at least comfort him-her to where he was calmer. "Like I said, you look kinda beautiful..."

Star just shook her head. "That wasn't you Max. Its not your fault. Its...well its kinda my fault. If I just hadn't been so stupid, I probably wouldn't have drunk that potion...which means you wouldn't have, so it wouldn't have messed with your mind. But you're better now. I think it may be a good idea to go find Lorcan and tell him I will pay for any damages." 

 

((I plan on adding more weirdness to the RP...but I have a choice, one choice would be Star staying a Dragon for a little longer than expected...and the other would be her going back to a pony...))

Beat blushed but quickly cleared her throat...blushing was girly. "Now I need to go talk to Nightfall...or Lorcan...and you need to talk to Scamps...or the other mare." She said, looking up. "I have to kiss a colt...oh Celestia."

Max looked at Star, having to look down considerably.

"No. This was my fault. I brought potions to the island. Potions that cause harm, and mischief. I didn't think, and it was that carelessness that almost ruined the best thing to ever happen to me." Max was beginning to shrink, is voice slowly going up in pitch.

"I tried punishing myself, and instead ended up punishing everypony on this island." His body began to morph, his spine reshaping with his legs.

"I let the nature of the drakes overcome me and ponies suffered for it. Being a dragon means being a monster. No amount of amazing sex can begin to compensate for that." He was almost back into pony form. He still had scales and leathery wings. But his wings began to reshape and grow feathers.

"I am sorry that you had to be at the epicenter of it all. I am sorry I yelled at you and swiped at you. I will never be able to repay you or Lorcan for what I have done. But I will try. You wont pay for anything. I will work the rest of my life if it means your own wallet or services go untouched." His scales were falling off, revealing olive fur. His mane had grown back entirely. He was now completely back to normal and was now eye level with Star at full height.

"I love you Star." Max said in his normal pony voice. He either didn't notice the change, or didn't care. He wrapped his forelegs around her and kissed her passionately. In the depths of his mind he wondered why he had hair. Maybe-like Beat having a mare voice-hair loss only occurred by letting the potion were off. It was just less permanent then altered vocal chords. Thank Celestia that the potion had another side effect: He was still fireproof. Maybe a ward? He would study this in detail later, when he wasn't locking lips with his dragon girlfriend.

Star kissed him back for a moment...she wanted to ask why he had changed back so suddenly...but it could wait.

After what felt like a few minutes she broke the kiss. "Max, it wasn't your fault. That really wasn't you. It was just the potion. Don't blame yourself. Lorcan will forgive you...and if he doesn't than that's his problem. Now...why did you just change back ? It hasn't been thirty hours or however long you said it would be." She said, looking down at her claw's...which were still there.

Scamps woke up from her nap...lr slumber, she didn't now how long, and let out a little sigh as she pressed her head into Nightfall's fur some more.

 

Nightfall....Why didn't I see this earlier.

 

Hello heart. This is brain. What are you doing here? Next thing you know, he'll accidentally fall of the balcony because of you.

 

She quickly bolted up. "Oh no." She murmured. "What am I doing? I'm getting too attached. I can' t do this..."

Max thought about that. He started digging through his horde until he found his journal. Flipping through it, he found his notes on dragons. After about a minute of reading, he had a theory.

"Dragons by nature are fueled by greed, and domination. They will amass hordes, conquer other dragons-or ponies-and set up packs. What I just showed were love, humility, compassion, empathy. These are all the opposite of draconic nature. Dragons grow on these emotions. They will gain strength, and will fall farther when these negatives are fed. When I showed the opposite, naturally the opposite came. Since I was not a dragon by nature, instead of turning into a baby, I must have reverted to normal." Max studied Star for a moment, looking puzzled. 

"But that doesn't explain why you are still a dragon. Maybe it is different with females? Or maybe it has to do with the amount of potion? Could be that you haven't lost it like I have yet...I don't know. It is just a theory after all." Max looked her in the eye, care emanating from his.

"But know that you are beautiful no matter what form you take. Be it pony, dragon, changling or diamond dog. I love you no matter what. Even my blood hazed mind kept me from seeing that before."

Accent was starting to become torn on something... If she-he doesn't kiss a mare in 48 hours, she stays like this... She-He looked over herself-himself in the mirror. She-He didn't look that bad... Neither did Beat... She-He had just looked really unsure about this...

Star frowned then glanced at the cave entrance. "I guess I drank enough to get the changes...but maybe I kept my pony mind ? Anywho...i'm really hungry...like...reaaaaallly hungry, could we get back and maybe find something to eat ? Pie...maybe some yogurt." She said, picking up a couple garbage bags that Max had taken earlier. "We should also get back and explain everything to Lorcan."

Beat stayed on the bed as Accent stood up and trotted over to the mirror. "Did Max say that if we didn't kiss a mare or colt we would be stuck like this...or just our voices ?"

This isn't for the worst." She-He laid back down on the bed. "This could be something really cool. I mean... Yeah..."

"I should return...his...ah BUCK!" Max cried out in a more reasonable tone.

"I was only able to lug all this crap when I was 7 feet tall and had the strength of a minotaur. Now how are we to get this stuff back?" He looked down at the horde he amassed when he mindlessly looted the entire house. He looked at Star, glad he didn't have to look down on anypony anymore.

"I uh, hate to impose but...with a few trips you could..." Max hated having Star clean up his mess, but he no longer capable of doing it himself. He tucked his journal away and fluttered down the pile. He did strap on some Royal Guard armor though before he descended. He wondered why Lorcan had that on display, but he would ask later. He would need armor to face Beat.

"I...think I should go apologize to...everypony. I will make this up to you however. You can count on that." Max reluctantly flew out of the cave and towards the house. 

"How the buck am I going to make this up to Beat? He is still a mare, so if I could fix that. But I cant while I am-" Max remembered he was a pony again.

"...........Buck. I'm going to have to aren't I? No, maybe I can see if Lorcan or Nightfall can do it. I don't need to kiss him...her. Oh, that's right. Shes a mare. So it isn't gay! But...I am in a relationship with Star. For bucks sake you aren't bucking him your just kissing him/her." He found himself at their door. Must of been thinking longer than he thought. A few knocks came to the door.

"Beat? Its me. I managed to revert back to Pony form. Can I come in?" He asked, ready to face the music.

Star nodded as Max flew back to the house...then she turned to the pile of stuff and sighed. "Here we go." She thought, grabbing several bags before flying back towards the house.

 

 

Beat stared at Accent before scratching her chin. "Well I must admit...you are rather handsome. But...I have fan's, my agent...my life...my...my dad...what am I supposed to say. "Hey i'm a mare now" ? Accent...I want to make you happy...I don't really know what to sa-" She was cut off as somepony knocked...it was Max. "What do you want ?" She asked, angrily.

Max opened the door, walking through in pony form, but completely cladded in armor. He had a plates for his chest, legs, and back. His sides also were armored up. He had a frame around his wings that folded with them. He was wearing thick metal boots and a helmet covering most of his face.

"Don't be alarmed by the armor that I didn't loot from this house in a dragon-greed-driven rampage. This is just a precaution. Now, after regaining my mind from draconic nature and returning to my original form, I think I can more effectively help you two. As a way of apologizing for destroying your dresser and pinning you against a wall. Now, as I said, the effect will were off, as you didn't drink the entire potion, but when it does, your voices will remain. Unless you kiss a colt. You can choose between me, Nightfall, or Lorcan. And I believe that there are two mares for your selection, Accent." Max pulled a shield from his back and held it in front of him, leaving just his head visible.

"Feel free to take out your anger on this shield." Max said, ducking under it in a defensive stance. He wasn't so much afraid, but he didn't feel like getting his ass kicked either. Not that he was completely incapable in a fight, and he WAS bigger than Beat, but he didn't want to take the chance. Plus, she's a mare now. Max cant hit a mare.

Accent only watched as the two conversed, looking around the room nervously. She wanted to make a decision with something, but... Would Beat even like it? Would he still like her-him?

Beat glared at Max. "As much as I want too...I am not going to hurt you. For two reasons. I am starting to disapprove of violence...and I am worried I might chip my hooves punching that shield." She said, crossing her forelegs. Then...her mouth dropped. "What...did I just say ? AAAH." She growled and fell back into the bed. "I really don't...this is just...GAH."

 

 

Star was on her second trip back to the house. She placed the things on the deck outside the kitchen and flew back to the cave where she grabbed the last few things.
She was about to fly back until she noticed the pearl that Max had given her...sitting on a small rock. She smiled and picked it up before flying back to the house for the third and final time.

Scamps sat there, staring at the sleeping Nightfall. The beatiful, handsome, sleeping Nightfall.

 

I love him. I just need some time to think. I don't want to hurt him. But maybe he can help me. I've never been one to love somepony kike this...but I do now. Maybe he can help. Urgh! So many thoughts, so many questions...I really need to just clear my head.

 

She opened his door and began to walk around the hallway. She began to sing lightly. As she finished, she came to her room. Alone. That's what I need.

 

She walked in and found three ponies in her room; Accent Beat, and Max. Only Accent looked rather masculine, and Beat looked rather femine.

 

"Um...sorry to intrude, but....what the hay is going on here?"

Max looked up from his shield, seeing a nervous, bug eyed Accent, and a very frustrated Beat. Max returned the shield to his back and pulled his journal. He studied the two very intently, and with those observations, coupled with the notes and research he had, he come to a sound conclusion.

"Guys...I had I theory that when a pony is transformed, the magic goes into and rewrites your genetic code. When it does so, it may change more than appearance. As I have proven. And it looks like that holds true to you two as well. Now, I am guessing you two are finding yourselves attracted to each other or the same-opposite, whatever-sex? That may be because the potion rewrote the part of your genes that determines sexuality to accommodate the new form. So theoretically, when you change back to normal, so will your taste in ponies."

Max saw an unknown mare enter the room.

"Oh hi, you got here just in time. Now listen, I know this may sound weird but...you see the colt over there?" Max asked, gesturing to Accent.

"That is a mare that drank a gender swap potion and now she or he must kiss a mare to change back to a mare. So I was wondering if you would be so kind as to make out with him or her for five seconds so he or she can change back?" Max asked, trying not to sound like a mad pony.

Oh great... Scamper is in here now... I gotta think of something... Uh... The potion! There it is! 

 

Without anyone noticing, Accent had stuffed the potion right behind his tail. Although it was short, it was easy to stash something in it.

 

"Uh... I'm gonna go use the bathroom real quick... Be right back..."

 

As Accent got up, he hobbled right out the door, and directly towards outside. A sign that he had lied...

Beat just remained quiet but frowned as Accent stood up. "Accent...the bathroom is right there." She said, pointing at the bathroom.
Part of Beat...actually kinda liked this...for some reason she felt...nice. But at the same time, she got thinking about her fan's...and business...and dad which she felt awkward about...considering she did kinda like it...but she didn't want to be a mare or have a mares voice for the rest of her life.

 

Meanwhile...Star was walking back up the stairs towards Accent's room. She stopped in the hall when she noticed Accent leaving the room...with a potion. "Hey Accent...what are you doing with the potion ?" She asked, not noticing Scamp's who was just in the doorway.

Max noticed Accent head outside in a hurry. What he saw in his tail was a flask....with the potion.

"Ah, PISS! She's gonna drink the rest and make the effects permanent!" Max dashed out the hall, bumping into the dragoness Star.

"Star, stop him! He has the potion! He doesn't know what he is doing!" Max continued to dash down the hall, ripping off his armor as he went.

"Accent! Stop!" Max almost lost himself to those potions. He wasn't going to watch it happen to another. Even if he had to knock him out.

Great... EVERYONE was chasing him now... Accent continued to hobble about the hallway, until he realized that he couldn't outrun any of them... That's it. He had to do it.

 

He pulled off an about-face, took the potion out of his tail, undone the top and was just about to chug the rest of the potion down.
