First pony drawing.

Today I was slightly bored at school, so a question came in my mind: "Why I've never tried to draw a pony?". So I drew this simple earth pony; I know it's full of mistakes but it's a first try after all, so feel free to criticize it to give me some hints on what I should improve, thanks.(I hope that I didn't copy any pony from others, but if I did, please forgive me, it wasn't my intention to do it).

For a first try this looks great, the mane and the tail are done best, especially the mane. It's all about practice, continue drawing. Good work. :3

By Joe I Think Hes Got It! Its pretty rare for a first try to come out this good. I do have however one recommendation, rather then the hoof to be bent that way, why not try the down up and back down way they use when a pony is in walking motion or just posing.

"Full of mistakes". Are you making a joke? This is a fantastic looking pony! I mean, it's not super amazing like I've seen some digital artists, but for your first pony that's great!

Now I feel so bad about my first pony sketch. Mine was a really bad Rainbow Dash with tiny eyes on the cardboard part of a ruler wrapper.
