What movies do you have no strong feelings one way or the other about?

 

Mine is The Dark Knight Rises. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.

Well my most average movie I guess would be Taken 2, I didn't particularly like it, kind of had a lame side plot with his family, and especially when compared to the first one. I didn't hate it either though cause it was pretty "entertaining* (not to be confused with confused with critically acclaimed). It had some pretty good action scenes.

Recently as of now, it has to be Paranorman.

I've seen the movie for about 20 minutes and I found it so boring and uninteresting, that it is the FIRST movie that I just walked out of because it was so boring.

There are some people who like it, and I don't mind, however, I consider this movie lower than average.

Surprisingly, The Last Airbender was a movie that I could've cared less about one way or the other. I don't think anyone thought it was a masterpiece - or even good - but as a fan of the cartoon, I can say it didn't offend me nearly as much as it seems to have offended every other fan. Honestly, it really didn't seem THAT bad, it was just kind of...meh. The acting was subpar, the effects were nothing new, and of course, it made the mistake of trying to cram the entire first season of the show into one movie.

 

But, if the show didn't exist - and thus didn't have an inevitable backlash in store for it - I could've seen it as being just another forgettable, pitifully average summer blockbuster.

The most average movie I have ever seen is "Buried". It is essentially 95 minutes of nothing of importance happening. Also wins the award for cheapest movie set, considering the entire film takes place inside a wooden box...

The Dark Knight Rises, I liked it for at least the fighting scenes and everything else. But, they could have at least had the person that did the voice for Ra Al Ghul's daughter in Arkham City be in the movie as her. Might as well, not bad I guess.

I heard that Ryan Reynolds was pretty good in that. I was hoping they'd pull off what 127 Hours was able to, shooting in such a confined space.

Yeah, it wasn't that bad of a movie, it's just that NOTHING HAPPENED. 5 minutes of him flipping the crap out, and then NOTHING. What happens at the end? NOTHING. The screen fades to black with him still in the damn box!
