I am 14 and i have nopony to hang out with.

I got many amazing friends on the forums,

but i want to talk and hang out with other bronies.

I live in a neighborhood with probably no bronies,so it sucks.

Although i love chatting with people on the forums,i can't

help but feel lonely without somepony to hang out with.

I used to have a friend,but he didn't like that i was a brony.

So now i have no friends,so i am pretty much a loser who sits on

his computer all day,only getting up to get a drink or eat.

Although my OC is crazy and random,i can be pretty boring.

My other OC Webster is actually a lot like me more than

Crazy,but Crazy was my first OC.I want to act more like Crazy,but 

i am more of a computer nerd than anything.I am also pretty useless,besides

drawing and creating.My OC Crazy is supposed to be what i would 

act like if i was a pony.I am shy and pretty friendly.

I want to be a fun brony,but sadly i am boring.

This is not supposed to be depressing or negative.

I am not negative,but

i tend to make fun of myself.

 

 

Anypony else have this problem?

Your not useless. But I think you should go and find someone to talk at your school. I highly doubt there isn't someone at your school who wouldn't want to be your friend. Just because someone isn't a brony, doesn't mean you can talk to them. There are very good people out there who aren't bronies, but they are still good people. Good luck with finding a friend. I would be your friend IRL, but I'm pretty sure you don't live in NC.

Even if you're just poking a bit of fun at yourself and not trying to get all negative, I'll take it seriously and say just take it one day at a time. Trust me Arizona is probably one of the worst places to go to school.

No offense to anypony who likes AZ.

Worst experiences of my life,bus rides sucked,kids were cruel,so much homework,

and hateable teachers.My only friend was the one

who hated hearing that i was a brony.

Oh well,as long as i have the forums,i am fine.

I have this same problem only maybe it's because I'm a closet brony and don't really want to be open with it. I guess you can say I fear the consequences, and I'm scared of being bullied for the most part. I don't par take in showing much pride as some of the other users here deem to expose.

 

I do have the internet to show my pride and I can respect that I have other peers I can share my interest with. I'm completely grateful that I have other people here that are here to support the fandom in anyways. I guess if I can't wear my pride in the real world, I'm willing to demonstrate what I can at least do on the virtual world.

I know that feel bro. I'm going to a home school program for the rest of the school year and my neighbour brony friend moved away a few blocks so I'm here on my own for a while. Really the biggest problem is that every time I finish my daily work, my mom just keeps telling me to do more so I can't have friends over. My way around this is talking with friends on Skype. Sometimes we play games, sometimes we just talk. Get Skype and add your friends.

 

Ooh another thing you could do is to get a job. I plan on getting one this summer when I'm not being forced to work 24/7. You'll likely meet lots of people in the workplace, even if they are older than you. If you find the right place to work, you'll be able to enjoy the job and meet people who share your interest. I plan on working at a local wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center.

Well, let's put it this way. I had people around me, but would never refer them as my friends. Currently I'm sitting at home all day, not really talking with anyone, at all. It have been like this for some months now and I can't say it makes me feel better about myself. I don't know any brony that lives close to me, barely know anyone tbh. Well this was a useless reply.... Getting desperate for attention aswell I guess..

Core, I don't really know what to say for any of these types of discussions because American school culture is so much different to what there is in the UK. Over here, school isn't really a great place to find maybe one very good friend because peers are almost 'colonized' into friendship groups that are very difficult for them to get out of. Nothing is taken seriously enough, and getting into a deep discussion with one classmate isn't really practicable as it is too easy for a much larger group of kids to make fun of it and reduce your self-esteem. Infact, I don't even care for my own school friendships now because I'm less than 2 months away from wrapping up my GCSEs (5th grade), after that I'll be moving to a different school. Anyway, the internet for me has just been a godsend, mainly because people aren't stupid like that.

 

Thats all I have to say, for now.

I understand what you mean. As I also live in Arizona, I can understand just how bad a state this one is for schools, and socialization.

The thing I wait for every year is the Comicon, where I can meet a lot of people, instead of being stuck in my house. (ALSO home schooled, because the school I went to hated me for getting good grades, apparently.)

Yeah, I guess relate to you. I'm a closet Brony who also really likes the internet, and is pretty bad in real life social situations. If you can draw and create things though, you're hardly useless. Don't be too quick to put yourself down.

Well, i can relate to how you feel, before i got into my old school i had no friends other than myself and exception for a few in the class who was nice, but they were not my friends i never hang out with them. Well, to support how i can relate how school feels bad... Hmm, being bullied for 11 years doesnt seem to stick out that much in how i hate school... Maybe its because i am pretty lazy and never show my logical side of the issue but who knows, not me ofcourse. (Sweden have ''good'' schools yeah... I've been to Mexico before and I enjoyed it, but I guess I can't say anything about the schools.

Ha, I watch quite a few of those channels myself...it's funny how we can enjoy personalities as 'family friendly' as Rhett and Link, yet also foul-mouthed ones like AVGN and NC. XD

 

Also, if you like video game nitpicking and over-analysis then I would recommend giving MatthewPatrick13 on YouTube a look, particularly the Game Theory episodes. They're pretty entertaining, and quite often mind-blowing.

For a student (who is in the year below yours) to socialise, I find it really hard. I don't talk that often but when I want to be heard, I'm with a group of people I vaguely know who I'm spending time with to make lunchtime go by. Nopony is useless, Crazy. Even forgetful ol' me. Nopony is usless, stop being so hard on yourself.

 

Back to the point, I do have some real-life brony friends but they are not 'official' brinies, meaning they tend to ignore me when I bring up the subject of FIM. I have 2 major brony fans, and it's great to have them around. But I see your point. It's great to have a friend who will understand what you are talking about, or at least listen to you without changing the subject. I hope the best for you. I found 2 bronies in my school, maybe you are just not looking hard enough. Try talking to people. Even the people you might least expect to like MLP.

My schooling system is in Australia ( well, duh, I live there) and I know that  Primary schools and highschools can be vicious here, usaully just physical abuse because many kids who live further out arent exactly the sharpest toll in the shed but they do have quite an arm. I should know, I have a deformed ribcage and a heart problem now because of the abuse I got when I was younger... but you have too keep going and ignore the people who are giving you a hard time, I'm in highschool now and I have a closet brony as a friend and normal guy has a friend, if you can't ignore them.. show them that your a threat, but only enough to scare them off and not to challenage them, That could get messy. But I like how your homeschooled, I wish I had that when I was younger, could have prevented my condition of having my heart stop every now and again

I don't really have much friends at school, like only 2 friends,but i can still manage.You should go talk to some other people who also seem like they're lonely (I think thats how i became friends with UmbreonWhispers) and they'll probaly become good friends with you! Thats all i can think of for you.
