Theory My theory on the post of Alicorn Twilight not outliving her friends.

So, my theory goes as follows after watching Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.

 

I'm sure many people remember the key part of the story where The Emperor (at that point known as Chancellor Palpetine) plants the seeds of doubt in Anakin's mind about how the power of the dark side was with this one lord, Darth Plagueis the Wise, and Anakin begins to doubt the light side of the force.

 

So anyways, one of the key words, and I quote from the movie:

 

"Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith so powerful and so wise, he could use the Force to influence the midi-chlorians to create life. He had such a knowledge of the dark side, he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying."

So, my theory of how she won't outlive her friends:

 

She will have such an immense power she could keep the elements from dying.

 

So what's your response? I will gladly keep checking back to answer any skepticism of my theorem and so on.

Well, Twilight Sparkle ain't going to be immortal or anything. (This was stated by a person whom works on the show.)  I think that ponies who were turned into alicorns do not obtain the long living, or immortal status. Cadence, due to apparently being turned into one, probably doesn't hold that life span.

I like the idea though, it's pretty cool. And Star Wars is awesome, dude. :U

I'll admit, that would be pretty cool.

But also boring to the rest of the show.

If Twilight gets enough power to keep the elements from dying, she'd pretty much have enough power to defeat anything.

So the rest of the show would become pretty dull.
