Name my OC Pony?

I'm new here, as you can probably tell; I may be writing this in the wrong forum thingy..Anywhoooo~.
I have an OC pony that needs a name..I changed the cutie mark~ My friend helped me with this..:3 As I'm really good with animals in real life um.. That's how I look, I just need a name.

Hhhhmmm...Im not exactly the best at naming ocs,but how about Dark gem,and her cutie mark could be a black gem.Or maybe black snowflake,and her cutie mark is a black snowflake.Thats all i can think of.

I can't really think of a suitable surname for her,

however, due to her colour scheme I'm very much in favour of the name Onyx. With her cutie mark being that of a dark/black crystal.

 

Maybe Onyx Rose (not sure if it works/sounds right)?

Well, seeing as how her cutie mark is a black feather, I'd say Soft Black, or even better, Onyx Feather.

And actually you should probably move this to the Fan Art part of the Octavia's Hall area of the forums.

What is your opinion on her? So far, do you think she's a good OC?

Also, I'd like her to have one eye a different colour to the other. I want one the colour I have, and the other side to be the light pink in my mane. But I don't know how to get a front view of my pony..I'm not very artistic, really.

Hmm, it's hard for me to name some OCs , but the I saw this one the first thing I came up with is "Paw Print"

My friend suggested something "Shy" but, that's a bit too much like fluttershy I guess. x)

Hm... Well, I can always suggest the first things that always comes to mind on me end... Nordic/Norwegian names!

They wouldn't sound too typical or standard, and they'd still have the same meaning~

 

So for example, "Black Paw" - "Svart Pote"...

Black Paw was my first suggestion, till I saw i was already taken. Oh well... Ask me if you want to try translating other names, if something such as this is within your interest!

Maybe "Ink Paw".I'm not good with names xD."Inkie Paw" is another name that i could find."Ink'd Paw".I think your OC has to have the words "Paw" and "Ink" in it.

Hmmm... What about "Paz"? I met someone with tht name an it's pronounced like "paws". There's also "ink heart", "Night Paw", "Dark Paw", and "Paw Print"? I know some of them have been suggested already but I think those are my favorites.

How about charcoal. Yeah it's simple, but simplicity is your best friend when it comes to my little pony. It fits too because charcoal is a black colour.

I haven't even got a name for her yet, However I made her mother and named her Sprinkle Sprite. I've changed her twice now, she was rather difficult to make..it involved a LOT of editing. This is the first..I was going to call her Twinkle Sprinkle...Yeahh.
