White swam around for a bit, enjoying the cool water the pool provided. He didn't do anything else than swim for a while, in fact, he never was one to search for contact. He usually just waited for something to happen. Things he started often resulted in failure anyway.

 

No! Be positive for once..this is a vacation..what's the worst that could happen?

 

Deciding he had enough of swimming, White swam to the edge of the pool and climbed out, walking over to his sun bed to dry himself off with the towel he had brought. After drying himself, he started making his way over to his cabin, to unpack the rest of his stuff.

Chrysanthamum was just simply wondering around the colossal cruise ship. She had already found her room, which she had noticed her cabin mate had not arrived yet. She had been trying to find something on the ship at first, but the blinding lights of the sun had fried her brain and made her forget why she was wondering around in the first place. Chrissie saw Parso and another pony talking nearby, and smiled to herself before walking over to them. She waved to the two ponies and smiled. "Hi, I honestly forgot what I was doing wondering around the ship like that. Anyways, I'm Chrysanthamum. Please though, call me Chrissie. Who are you two?"

"Wow, only twenty minutes and I've cleaned out these foals. Pathetic." Scooping up his winnings from the pool games he had just finished winning, Windy left behind the small group of crestfallen ponies he had just soundly beaten at billiards. "I probably didn't need to take all their money, but hey, a bet's a bet! Although I feel they'd throw me overboard if I offered double or nothing... Now onto more pressing matters, finding my way around this bucking ship! Its so dang big, how am I ever supposed to find my way around? I feel like I need a guide or something..."

 

Leaving the game room behind, Windy decided to head up to the top deck, at least then he could be lost in the sun instead of indoors. After a short climb up the stairwell, Windy emerged onto the boat deck of the massive vessel and blinked his eyes a few times to adjust to the brightness. "Dang, that's some seriously strong sun today!" he said, appreciatively feeling the sun hit his golden brown coat and warm him up. Trotting towards the pool, Windy saw a small group of ponies had begun forming by the pool. 

 

"I should probably introduce myself, there seem to be a couple of pretty fine mares there..."  

 

Wish arrived at the pool and sat down on a free sunbed, her sunglasses firmly in place. She took out her book and started smoothing on suncream. Looking about at the other ponies, who were obviously here for a good holiday, Wish hoped that she would gain some friends.

"Yup!" Cloud replied. "Do you like the trip?" Cloud asked Parso. "Eeeeeyup!" He exclamied. "Which cabin are you in?" Asked Parso. "Cabin 12"

"oh, okay." Cloud then galloped away to meet some new ponies. Cloud ran toward a pony laying down next to the pool. "Hi, I'm Cloudseeker, but you can call me Cloud!"
"Are you having fun? Do you like this trip? Wanna be friends?" Cloud pelted her with questions.

 

 

"And speaking of fine mares, there's a suntanning one right now at twelve O'clock sharp!" Windy muttered happily to himself. Striding up confidently to the mare, Windy paused as she saw another mare join the suntanning one. Smiling broadly as the newcomer pelted the suntanning pony with questions, Windy sauntered up and decided to introduce himself, 

 

"Hey there! You two mares new on ship too? I'm Windy Runner, what are your names?"

"Hi, I'm Parso Incendiare, but just Parso is fine. enjoyin' the cruise, Chrissie?"

it was hard to speak formal with a full Sydneigh accent, but he tried his best to speak formal

"Well, yes. Are you?" She looks at the two ponies, feeling guilty. "Oh...I diddn't innterupt anything did I? I was just a little lost, and I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction." She smiled at the two ponies. "I hope I'm not bothering you." She shuffled her back hooves against the floor.

White arrived back at his cabin a while later, still struggling to find his way around the ship. Sure, there were enough sign to indicate where what was but it might as well be a maze, because he would still get lost a bit while navigating through the ship.

 

Unpacking his belongings, he wondered what he could do to kill time. He did book this cruise to get a bit of rest, a break from work so to say, but that didn't mean he couldn't go do things he wanted to do. Like swimming for example, which he had just done.

 

Finally deciding to just go back to the pool, he grabbed his towel again and headed back to it. In fact, almost everyony on the ship seemed to have gathered around the pool. It was a hot day after all.

 

Arriving back at the pool he swept some sweat off his forehead again before looking around to find a sun bed that wasn't taken yet. He then spotted 2 mares seemingly involved in a conversation, with a stallion standing close trying to get acqainted with the two. Walking over, he spoke in a 'sorry to interrupt you' tone of voice:

 

"Hello..sorry to interrupt, is that sun bed free?" he said, pointing at the sun bed next to the mare laying on the other sun bed.

 

(And by that mare I obviously mean Wish.)

After a cooling dip that felt like hours, Stratos thought it would be a nice opportunity to mingle. After quickly tossing his saddlebag into his quarters and freshening up a bit, he returned to the deck where most of the ponies had gathered. Stratos caught view of four ponies conversing, and at the risk of seeming creepy, he decided to trot over and introduce himself. After all, it would be best to get to know everypony he'd be surrounded by during the cruise.

 

"Hey, everypony! The name's Stratos! Pretty cool place, right?"

White heard a pony behind him speak up. Looking a bit disappointed at the fact that the mare he asked a question was seemingly too busy to answer him (yet), he turned around and put up a friendly face, reaching out a hoof to the pony.

 

"Hey there. Name's White. White Lightning."

Ooc: Be patient, people; I was at work and could not answer!

 

A little flustered at first by so many questions, Wish eventually replied to the mare. "My name's Wish," she said. "I'm the entertainer on board ship; look out for me this evening. Until then, I just get to chill out and enjoy myself."

Wish smiled at the stallion. He looked cute, she thought. "Sure, the sunbed next to me is free," she replied.

After looking around the area and figuring out where everything is, lightning went to the pool looking for a chat with someone, he saw a group of ponies talking and decided to join in to the conversation.

He introduced himself "hi,names lightningstrikes, how you doing?".

"Hi Lightningstrikes! I'm Cloudseeker, but you can call me Cloud!" Cloud replied. "You having fun? Wanna hang out? Do you like cruises?" Before Lightning could answer, Cloud sped off to her cabin. "Bye guys! If you wanna chat, i'll be in Cabin 12! See Ya!" Cloud disappeared behind a bend.

Meteorite finally arrived to the vessel he took a deep breath of the sea air "this is one big ship" he said to himself as he trotted up the stairs when he arrived to the deck he was astonish of the ship there was a bar,pool,and a arcade "thank celestial i choose this ship he walk around the deck wondering what to do he saw a familiar face (is that rocket?) he thought he walk over to where he was he soon realise that it was his friend he jump in front of him "Rocket it's good to see you oh" he says to see him with a mare "and hello there my name is meteorite what's yours?" he said putting his hoof up

"Meteorite... Meteor... OH! Hey goes it going! I know that name from somewhere, I just can't put where I know it from!" He said with a smile, "how have you been? I feel like I've seen you from somewhere, care to jog my memory?" He said, (shoot, I know him from somewhere, I just can't put my hoof on it...) he thought.

Meteorite to rocket "What you don't remember me...yeah you know what you won't remember it's been a year after all" he said scratching his mane "okay here's a jog concert backstage ring any bells?" he turn to the mare next to him then turn back "and by way who's your friend here?" he said with a smirk

"Oh yea! Haha that was one helluva night! Anyways this is compass rose i met her today, she's really cool!" He said with a smile. (I can't believe I forgot that party it was amazingly awesome!) he thought.

White turned to Wish, smiling.

 

"Hmm? Oh, thanks." he nodded, laying down on the sun bed, before reaching out a hoof to her.

 

"Name's White. White Lightning." he said.

Wish smiled and shook hooves with White Lightning. "I'm going to be putting on the entertainment every night, so I need to relax while I can," she said. "I hope you're looking forward to it!"

 

Wish planned a simple display of fireworks for the first night, and other, more complex entertainments for the nights after.

White smiled and shook her hoof. The mare then told him she was going to be tonight's entertainment. White chuckled, and answered her.

 

"So you're gonna be entertaining us during the cruise? Well I'll make sure to be there to watch it tonight, I always enjoy a good show."

lightning got to cabin 12 and thought this is here she said she'd be, he knocked on the door and said "hello,cloud,you there,its lightning we met at the pool".

"Just a second!" Cloud called from within the room. A second later (literally) Cloud opened the door to see Lightningstrike standing there. "Hai! Like my get-up? I made it myself!" Cloud was wearing a rose on her ear, a dress with cloud patterns on it, and a white and blue mane clip.

After saying hi to a few of the ponies by the pool, Stratos decided to do what he did best - fly. His ability to fly was always close to his heart, and he felt his most at home in the sky. He figured it would be a decent way to get from one end of the cruise liner to the other relatively quickly. Plus, he hoped it might be a way to get the attention of a few of the mares. Stratos was always really shy, and he thought it might be an easier icebreaker than having to approach strangers cold.

White smiled and shook her hoof. The mare then told him she was going to be tonight's entertainment. White chuckled, and answered her.

 

"So you're gonna be entertaining us during the cruise? Well I'll make sure to be there to watch it tonight, I always enjoy a good show."

 

Wish smiled, happily. "I'll do my best," she replied. "I always like to put on a really flashy show the first night, but I'll always try and make sure that everypony has fun every night after that. If anypony has anything they'd specifically like to see in the entertainment, they only have to ask and if it's possible, I'll accomadate it into my show."

"So you do requests sort of? Oh, I'm sure you'll come up with something great, you don't need my ideas or something to put up a great show I think."

 

White thought he rather liked this mare. She seemed like a nice pony to him, and well he had to admit she didn't look too bad either.

 

Noticing that he trailed off for a little bit, he shook his head a bit, laying down more relaxed to enjoy the sun.

Chrissie laughed in response. "I was planning to go swimming, but I can't seem to find the pool. I have been wondering the ship for hours, it seems." Chrissie rolls her eyes so he knows she is being sarcastic. "So do you know your way to the pool? I am dying to get in the water, it is so hot out here."

"Thanks," Wish replied, pushing a hoof thru her black and white mane as she lay back down on her sunbed. She liked this stallion a lot, and wondered if he liked her, too. Perhaps he might tell her, sometime. Maybe even after her entertainment display that was planned for that night.
