Looks like Swordpoint advances. Crimson put up a hell of a fight, though. If Swordpoint wasn't a pegasus, he likely would have lost.

 

A fine match! Oh, and I have a suggestion for the tournament committee about what to do with that six percent and where to shove it. ;)

The six percent thing was inaccurate on purpose. I looked over both characters, and you were more likely to win.

What is that suppost to mean exactly? What do you mean, you looked over both characters? And how can you automatically think he was more likely to win? The only reason he won was becouse he had wings!

To be honest, the whole wings and magic thing did make him a bit more likely to win. Not that it was impossible for you to win. A six percent advantage means it was 47 vs a 53 percent chance. Obviously a very rough estimate.

Hurr durr, it doesn't really matter. Yes, he can do magic. But he didn't use it at all. Just his hooves and wings.

 

Anyways, Crimson still put up a hell of a fight. I was expecting that to last a lot longer, and with some of those moves he was pulling off, I was also expecting an ass whoopin' :P

I did until I learned the opponents between Cosmo and winning the tournament. I figured out what it was by accident. First glance, it looked like a summary of the sign up information, and most of us didn't go for a second glance.

You're not the only one, Cosmo certainly isn't going to backdown, and neither am I.

The semi finals will start after a day long rest for the four remaining contestants. The matches have also been changed.

Not sure if it's even happening (Haven't been reading too much... Sadly...), but I think it might be a good idea if we have tag team or double's matches, it might force enemies to work together and help develop characters!

@@Shame, I like this guy. This guy (gal/entity/broom cupboard) thinks like a writer. My mum's a writer, are you secretly my mum?

That's broom CLOSET to you, mister. Thank you for the compliment though, everybody likes building characters, it's best to give them the opportunity to minimize 'acting out' or dragging the game off course.

Its a bit too late for that. There's only four contestants left. The next dark tournament I'm thinking of making teams of three, though.

Rail wasn't the one that said he was a threat that needs to be removed. That was a minatour in the tournament committee. Rail isn't a member of the committee. The real asshole is Big Shot, the smelly old guy in the purple suit. When I'm not posting on a phone, Big Shots quotes are in purple. Rail is nice to the contestants, but he really doesn't care if you die, he's insane, but it doesn't show very much. By the way, Topaz is Rail's daughter and Juri is Shales daughter. Still confused?)

This a conversation for OOC thread. Unfortunately, yes, I'm not always clear with how I say things, so I don't think my question came out right. I understand Rail isn't ok with the rigging the tournament ideas of the committee. My question was:

Why does the committee see Cosmo as a threat?

 

That info did me give some new understanding of the tournament, though. For example I thought Rail was IN CHARGE of the committee (and I know what it's like posting on a phone and not having color or bold text lol). The Juri is Shales' daughter was also interesting, though I knew about Topaz being Rail's little girl. So is Juri a little kid like Topaz? I imagined her as some 23-24 year old, decent looking, secretary mare.

You guys realize that the last couple of weeks, all of my posting has been phone-based, right? I could see colors being a problem, but things like italics and embolding are actually really easy. Italics begin with [i.] Minus the dot. They end with [/i]. Bold font begins with [b.] minus the dot. They end with [/b].

I was speaking of the next round, of course, I know you're nearing the end, I'm rather interested in seeing the victor and their wish!

 

But, perhaps three to a team may prove... Difficult... Coordination is difficult between even two, and we have (I believe) a handful of new players who may find great difficulty in fine interaction.
