If you could make an MLP spinoff, what would it be?

So, if you could replace Equestria Girls with another Pony spinoff what would it be?

 

Mine would be The Wild and Crazy Adventures of Bloomberg and Tom. One's a tree, one's a rock, living in the same apartment around the clock.

I'm thinking that a good spin off would be to cash in on the fan interest of the background characters. You could easily have the characters having adventures that run alongside the adventures of the mane 6 or even from before Twilight arrives.

 

Of course sadly Dizty/Derpy would likely have to be axed if they want it to appeal to kids. Of course if your aiming at the older audience then cutting her would be detrimental.

If I somehow acquired the power to make a spinoff MLP series, I'd make one that follows fan-favorite background characters such as Derpy, Lyra, Bon Bon, Dr. Hooves, and Colgate.

 

It would be called "My Little Pony: Side Characters are Magic".

 

... Or "My Little Pony: Brony Edition".

I'd like to see one about the background characters too, but done in a Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead-style where we see them interacting with and / or directly / indirectly affecting things which happen in some of the series' episodes.

 

e.g. Derpy's telling someone how she's not clumsy, and then slams into the fallen rocks from the wall Spike built for Rainbow Dash as a favor for Applejack. "That wasn't my fault! Who the hay put these rocks here?"

I would LOVE to see a spin off of Lyra and Bon Bon. I don't really know why, but I just love their character designs! Lyra is just so cute and stubborn while bon bon is her sane counterpart

How about a parody of America's Got Talent called "Equestria's Got Talent?" It would be a talent show for all creatures and ponies of Equestria.

A miniseries that takes place between Nightmare Moon's downfall and the first episode. It would have a tone similar to Avatar: The Last Airbender, and focus on a fantasy adventure story, with an aesthetic similar to Equestria Prevails. The plot could be about anything, but I have this idea of having it based around a Pony vs. Griffin war. World building that could set up future events in FiM (like having the big bad return).

 

The bronies get a epic story arc and darker-ish themes (still family friendly, of course), the main show gets to keep the winning slice of life format. Everybody wins.

I've always pictured a spinoff series where the CMC are the mane 6s age and maybe they more or less replace the mane 6 as the main characters.

 

I'm cool with the side charactor spinoff to. The CMC one just came to mind first.
