I was fighting the whole time." Taking a lighter out of a small pocket on his vest, Standoff lit the cigarette. "Don't worry, I'll take everything out of it before I hit the ring."

"Don't pretend with those who know the truth." Rail lectured. "My daughter may have announced a fight, but money was controlling it before you entered the ring. That whole round was a setup. Luckily you are of an above adverage mindset. That mare he was threatening is perfectly safe, Though I'm sure you weren't too worried."

@, Standoff looked at Rail oddly. "I knew somesink seemed off." His expression changed. "Red, it's hard enough to not act insane without you interjecting all the time! Sorry about my friend. Lab accident. He's even less happy about it than I am. Zat's for sure. Shush! Anyway. it's what we're using the wish for if we come out of this on top."

As he heard his name be announced Silver smiled. "Finally it's my turn to fight." He said leaving the waiting room.

 

As Silver Storm made his way to the audience; the cheering became was a little too loud as he couldn't even hear himself think.

 

The wind around him picked up a bit making his mane flow.

 

"Oh I can't wait to see what she can do." Silver thought as he waited for his opponent, the cute mare he had met earlier. She had a nice but unusual aura about her as Silver Storm could feel it in the wind.

Moonlight looked at Topaz.  "It is an honor to be here" She replied to the tiny filly.  The wind picked up her mane and tail, making some of it cover parts of her face.  She looked at the crowd and bowed for them.  She looked at her opponent one last time before going inside to recover and watch the next battles.  She walked out limping.

"And we move quickly onto match seven, Rune Breaker versus Swordpoint!" Topaz announced. "It should begin shortly in the third stadium ring. The Perliminaries arent over yet!"

 

"Rune Breaker and Swordpoint, Report to the third stadium ring. You are on the clock." The speaker called.

[Preeminent Pisces 100]

Goldre slowly trotted into the arena, head lowered. She knew that she wouldn't hurt him, but she certainly hoped he wouldn't hurt himself. But even if the fight hadn't started, she needed to get her act on. She glanced shyly into the crowd but immediately regretted it. Dr. Q glared hard at her with high expectancy. Goldre focused on the small point on the ground in front of her. She gulped and began. She fanned her wings out and tried hard to appear confident. It was a failure, as she knew, so the crowd immediately assumed her to be weak. Grossly underestimating her was part one. Goldre pulled her katana out and checked the blade. Sharp as ever. She nodded at the ref to signal that she was ready.

As she entered the ring Silver Storm smiled at her appearance. He was slightly concerned about her when she fanned her wings. He was about to say something when she pulled out a blade and had a stern look on her face.

 

"Hmm.." Silvet Storm murmured under his breathe. He wondered if Goldre was putting up the weak and helpless look just make her seem less threatening than she really was , lowering his defenses and thus leaving an opening for her to strike. Silver knew he'd have to take her on as if she was any other enemy. He also wasn't looking to kill her..... only merely to knock her unconscious. Or she could forfeit but it seemed like it was going to be the former.

 

Silver Storm looked at the announcer and nodded signaling he was ready. Hopefully Goldre wasnt going to use his better nature against him and to kill.

Dreams was unprepared for her foe to teleport and got hit in the cheek by a ghost blade. Her face was of plain rage (And gore.). She decided to try a different tactic, and looked at the sky and her claws. She knew her foe was expecting her to fly, but she had a different idea. She electrified her claws and created a huge tunnel that when down an indefinite meters into the ground. She started to create a tunnel system below ground, ready to spring up wherever her foe was.

"Okay, Fighters, YOU MAY BEGIN!" The ref said.

 

 

 

 

"Unbelievable!" Topaz said. "Bad Dreams has appeared to have drilled strait into the ground! I didn't even know this was possible! I wish everypony could see this! The DVD Release just isn't the same as seeing it in reality!"

At the signal of the ref; Silver Storm quickly fanned his wings. As he did so he lifted off the ground slightly. "Well she has a Katana so all I need to do is stay away from her and avoid close range." Silver Storm thought to himself.

 

"I have to say it's a pleasure to fight you Goldre....." Silver Storm told her. "I am curious to see what your capable of."

Goldre nodded.

"Thanks, but the pleasure is mine," she gulped. She nervously spread her wings and took to the air. Her wings required one flap for every three a regular pegasus' wings would. She twisted her wings tactically incase he tried to hit her. She had the agility advantage.

"You may make the first move," she allowed.

Silver Storm closed his eyes and smiled. "Thanks..." He said before he opened his eyes. He then flew toward Goldre at a high speed hopefully not giving her time to react. 

 

Silver flies right by Goldre without even attempting to hit her and then outward towards the audience. "But first a little exercise." Silver says as he glides along the lines of the audience almost within hoof reaching distance. After going around once he then goes to the center and then back at Goldre yet again not attempting to hit her at all and flies upwards towards the sky.

 

(Assuming this is an open stadium.)

"Why don'tcha get a lovely pair of sunglasses?" Goldre retorted. She was fine where she was. No matter how hard he'd try, he couldn't hit her. She knew this, but he didn't. She'd just have to wait 'til he tired out. She'd never tire, though. She flipped her katana out and began filing her hooves. She hacked an obnoxious lock of hair off and picked her teeth. She could wait. She had time.

Lots of time.

Goldre eventually got bored and put her katana away. She flicked her wings, causing two mini tornadoes. She adjusted the intensity on her glasses and glared right up into the sun. She absorbed the sunlight, feeling the adrenaline course through her veins.

"Whelp looks like that's enough sun soaking for me." Silver said after hearing the announcer order him to come back down.

 

Silver prepped his wings again as he flew straight down toward the stadium. Right before he hit the ground he flew himself right toward Goldre.  This time however in a attempt to hit her.

Goldre watched as Silver dove at her in full speed. She watched boredly until his hoof was about to touch her. She scooted out of the way. Silver's momentum kept him going.

"Best ya can do?" she asked. She spread her arms as if she were preparing to give a hug, but around her formed three more Goldre's. Goldre recoiled (all the rest copied her) in shock at the random event. Another mystery from the lab? Probably.

Moonlight walked into the infirmary and hoped to get bandaged up.  She looked at the stadium with Goldre and Silver fighting.  Both pegasuses, this would be an interesting match.  She forgot.  She could have used magic against Wind Slicer, but she decided to wait for the next round.  She sat down in one of the beds and watched the match.

"What the buck..." If he wasnt nearly 1000 feet in the air, Cosmo would've hit the ground before he got over what he was seeing. "Tunneling?! She can tunnel?!" Cosmo almost didn't catch himself, ultimately using telekinetic to slow and finally stop his fall. When he was about to get back on solid ground he wondered, "Is she sensing where I land or just attacking random spots..." Cosmo lowered himself to the ground but kept some of his magic ready to dodge if Dreams drilled up into him. "I hoped to save this till later but I'm out of options..." Cosmo created dozens of his ghost blades but smaller and instead of controlling each one, he set them to simply circle around him at speeds enough to shred anypony from 2-7 meters of him. He didn't use the illusions he normally added to make the blades visible, so all the audience could see was dust flying in the air around him at high speeds. "Come up quickly Dreams... Or else my Blood Wind will rip you apart..." he thought somewhat sadly...

Silver Storm gasped as he was in mid attack. Suddenly Goldre had cloned herself. Silver stopped his attack and backed off a bit.

 

"Well isn't this a surprise." Silver said to himself. "The mare just suddenly goes poof and suddenly there's three more of them." He knew there was something exceptional about this mare but he had never heard let alone seen anyone clone themselves. He looked to the announcer.

 

"Hey is this even fair?....It's four against one." Silver complained ignoring the shocked Goldre's and focused at the announcer. Although he didn't really care if he had to fight all four Goldre's. After all he did have some abilities he had yet to reveal and he had planned to use them if necessarily.

Dreams heard the whirring of blades, but that was useless. He was standing perfectly still! And the voices mad it easy for her to determined his location.

 

The ground below Cosmo cracked, and up came a dirty looking Bad Dreams right under Cosmo, using her mechanical claws to shoot both of them up in the air. Part of her mask was ripped apart, and she used her claws to keep Cosmo held up win the air by putting his throat in between the gap between the claws. She settled them in the middle of the whirring blades, and grinned.

 

"Oy, looks like this is checkmate." Dreams told Cosmo. "Sure you don't want to give up? I don't want to kill you."

"Frick, how do you make them go away?" Goldre waved her arms. The clones only copied her.

The scientist pulled a megaphone out of seemingly nowhere and shouted into it, "TELL THEM TO GO!"

Goldre scowled, but obeyed.

"Shoo!" she screeched. They vanished in a poof.

"Hmmm," Rune watched Goldre trot of into the ring with the strange Stallion that had shouted at her staring the whole time.  He continued to watch the fight start on the tv before sighing they had already called him but he didn't truly want to fight Swordpoint. 

 

'You don't but I want to tear his flesh from his bones. and if you don't enter I will.'  He felt Knightfall's will start to push against his building the longer he stood still, threatening to over take him.  He let out a huff and turned from the tv. 'Fine they want a show I'll give them a show.  You won't get your way though.'

 

Rune Breaker entered the arena testing the dirt beneath his horseshoes. "yes this will do nicely."  He stretched and then began a stamping trot around the ring bouncing between feet. "Nothing like a little stretch and warm up before a work out right?"  He called to the crowd.

 

'You look ridiculous, worm.'  'Yeah, I probably don't belong here...'

Crimson was leaning against a wall wathcing the fight between cosmo and dreams with keen interest and genuine worry, "damn, I may be a pirate and all, but if that attack of his hits her, it'll make such a mess that even I may puke!" Thought crimson worridly. He then noticed the look on cosmos face, "can he even go through with this? He looks more worried than most of the crowd!" Said crimson aloud. He then shook his head, cursing himself for being so sentimental, he then sighed, "how can I be a blood thirsty pirate, when I can't bare to see even one person die?" Thought crimson, now concentrating on the fight once more.
