"It's not! I promise! If there's one thing I know, it's that you're not a part of my problems. You never will be. Everything's just been so quick and dramatic, and I don't know if Windy's even our friend now, or if I trust him! Everything's just so hard, and I feel like everypony's out to get me. I couldn't tell you because I thought maybe you'd think you were included in that, but..."

 

He can't even trust me anymore. Isn't that what this whole problem is about? Trust?

 

She looked down at her hoof in his. "After this, I'm not sure if you're still you." She said quietly.

 

Well, I told him 80% of the truth. Maybe even 90%. Even if he doesn't love me anymore, even if he hates me now, saying that I can't stop thinking about Windy Runner won't stop anything, even if I try to explain that it's not like that.

Airy sighed in relief. "Gosh, why didn't you tell me that in the first place? It would have saved me from a lot of needless worries."

Airy took a big bite from his sandwich. Suddenly now that everything was okay he was hungry again.

"Well, of course I trust you, but as long as you don't tell me, there's nothing I can believe", he added and gently stroked Scamps' mane after having cleaned his hoof with a napkin. "So if you still are in for some nice and quiet activites today, I'd love to spend the day with the best mare I know."

He's back ti normal. Just like that. Did he realize that I asked him if he was even him? I should just leave it be, saves me from the trouble of the other 10% of the truth.

 

"I...I really just need to head back to the room. Sort some things out in my head. If you don't mind. Do...can you join me? Your company would...help."

 

Just figure out if you somehow magically have feelings for both of them. Then all of this is over. Come on, all Windy Runner did was save your life. He doesn't even care about you!

 

She slowly stood up, and began to walk out, forgetting about her appetite for brealfast.

Airy was a little surprised Scamps suddenly was leaving. She had asked him to follow her, but he hadn't expected her to leave immediately.

Airy picked up the plates and placed them at the collecting point before he hurried to not lose his mare.

While they were walking through the ship to Scamps' quarteer, Airy didn't say a word. Scamps looked so... sad, confused, even a little scared...

Firebolt's mane was put up in a messy bun, still a bit damp. "Ah. I know what you mean..." She said. Storm always took forever to get ready. Anything they wanted to do would always be delayed by quite a few minutes. She always said they were just 'fashionably late' but Bolt hated being late, ever. "Shall we go, then?" She asked, leaning against Windy slightly.

 

((I must suggest staying in the halls for Scamps to maybe run into us. Just cos drama.))

Scamps was almost to her room, when she noticed somepony in the hallway; Windy Runner.

 

Just thank him now, get it over with!

 

She stood there, frozen not sure what to do.

 

There are other ponies around, specifically Bolt. She'll think something's up.

 

Something IS up! With you! And the only way you can fix it is by talking to Windy Runner.

 

She turned back to Airy. "Hold on a minute. I....I need to talk to Windy. I'll be right back, I promise."

 

She fast-walked over to Windy. "Um,.Windy, I know that you're probably in the middle of something, but I really need to talk to you. Immmeaditly, if you don't mind. And, um, if we could talk in private, that would be great."

Casting confused look at Bolt, Windy shrugged and turned back to Scamps. "Uh, sure Scamps. Go right ahead." Walking away from Bolt and Airy, Windy turned a corner in the hallway to give Scamps the privacy she seemed to desire badly.  Once Scamps had rounded the corner as well, Windy leaned nonchalantly against the wall, saying politely, "Alright, so what's on your mind Scamps?"

 

((Poor Windy... He's just always caught up in a web of drama too convoluted for his simple brain to follow...))

She sighed. "I never actually thanked you for saving my life. If it weren't for you, I'd currently be dead. It's been bugging me all day, so, thank you. If there's anyway I could repay you, I will."

 

Okay, I feel a little better now. But I still feel off! Maybe it's because I want to repay him, so that'll be cleared up in a.few seconds. But maybe I need to clear up something else.

 

"We're...friends, right? And, that's all you think about me, correct?"

"Oh, that's no big. What kind of monster would I be if I DIDN'T save your life? And you don't need to repay me, its no big deal."

 

The follow up question, however, surprised Windy. "Uh, yeah, yeah we're friends. And uh, yeah, I only think of you as a... friend. A friend, right. I mean, I would be lying if I said that I didn't think you were really cute, but..." Windy cut himself off with a hoof to the face. Removing his hoof from his already reddening face, Windy said quietly, "Uh, can we just pretend I never said that? I think it'd be best for everypony."

Scamps giggled a bit. "I don't know, maybe I should tell Airy that somepony is competing with him..." She laughed a bit more. "Nah, it's a ll good. Besides, we're both in a relationship, so I don't even know why I bothered to ask."

 

Because you thought he did. To break him up with Bolt. To double check yourself.

 

"Well, that's it. I'll just be heading back now." She smiled, then turned back around and walked back to Airy. She unlocked her door, and let him in, and then walked in herself.

Airy hadn't even tried to listen to what Scamps was talking with Windy Runner, even though he actually was extremely curious. But as Scamps seemed to feel a lot better, Airy decided to just not ask.

Airy stood still in the middle of the room. He just didn't know if he should take a seat or not...

"So... what can I do for you now, my dearest mare?"

Breathing a sigh of relief as Scamps left, Windy rounded the corner again and returned to Bolt's side, then begun walking towards the pizza place again. "Sorry about that Bolt... Scamps was just, she was just thanking me for saving her this morning. I don't know why she made such a big deal out of it, but it wasn't really an issue." Leaning into Bolt as they walked, he took on a mischievous, teasing voice, "I hope all the attention I'm getting isn't making you jealous..."

"Nooo..." Firebolt said, clearly lying. She had begun to walk towards the pizzeria as well. Or rather followed Windy, as she wasn't quite sure where it was. Which was probably not the best idea, but he had at least a vague idea of where he was going. Getting lost wouldn't be the worst thing, anyway...

After a few minutes of silent walking and just enjoying the closeness to Bolt, Windy pointed his hoof at a structure nearby. "There it is Bolt! I hear they have the best deep dish pizza you'll ever have! Wanna try some? Or is there something else you'd prefer to have?"

Okay, so I've offically figured out that Windy Runner and I friendzoned each other forever. Now, I just need to prove to Airy somehow that I still love him.

 

"Well, um..." Scamps sighed. "Listen, I'm really sorry about....everything. It must have been really hard to think I was dying, and then when you saw me alive, I just left you, and was distracted. I just want you to know that I love you, and I'm sorry."

 

She sat down on the bed and looked down at her hooves. Yeaah, that was soooooo believable. Thwre is no doubt in his mind that you're cheating on him. Not at all...

 

She looked back up at him, and looked into his eyes. She smiled, then looked down, then back up. She then wrapped her forehooves around his neck and pulled him closer to her, until her lips met his. She poured her passion and love into a single kiss, her final attemtp to finally prove that he was the one to her.

Airy was kinda confused by Scamps' words. He wasn't exactly able to figure out what she wanted to tell him.

However, before he was able to say anything, Scamps showed him what she obviously had been trying to say all the time. The kiss she gave him was... real. Nothing about this kiss was fake. She really loved him, and that kiss was her way to explain it.

The moment in which their lips touched felt like endless, and not only did Airy feel Scamps' lips, he also could feel her body, nothing seperating them from each other. Airy forgot almost everything around himself, including his balance. Just in the middle of the kiss Airy lost it and fell down on Scamps' bed, taking his very special somepony with him.

Airy obviously blushed when he released the kiss afterwards. "Oh my... I am sorry for that. I... I just forgot everything around me when you kissed me... Thank you Scamps. Thank you so much."

She laughed as they fell, her mind in perfect bliss now that everything was okay again "Your welcome, but....I needed that too." She chuckled a bit again, and then grinned. "But who told you to stop?" She grabbed his head and pulled it down, continuing the kiss where it left off; by attempting to up the intensity, if that was even possible. She grabbed his waist and pulled him closer, so that their stomachs were pressed together, and they were nearly as close as possible.

Even though a lot of Airy's nerves had been cut off in his accident, Airy felt every single piece of Scamps' body on his coat. She was warm and soft, and every second he spent with her being so close to his body was... perfect. He held her in his hooves a little tighter than before, not wanting to ever let go. His entire body was filled with joy and pleasure while his hooves stroked over Scamps' back and his tongue touched Scamps' lips. His heart was heavily beating, and his breath was getting heavier as he felt emotions inside him he never had known before, especially in one part of his body he hadn't even expected to still work after his accident.

Airy obviously blushed when he noticed what happened down there while Scamps was lying on him. He immediately loosened his grip a little because he was nervous.

When his lips were free again, he whispered some words, his face still being quite red.

"I... Scamps, I would love to... go further, but... but not without some preparation, if... if you know what I mean... and of course not without your permission..."

She looked up at him. "I don't mind, but I don't know how, well, in your circumstances. But if there is some way, then why not?"

 

Your seriously going to do this? Usually I would remind you of the whole "what do your parents think," but then again, they dom't think about you, anyways.

Airy smiled. "Well, that's not what I meant... but now that you ask, I have never tried it. But... but I can feel something down there, and it's reacting to my feelings for you as well, so I guess... I guess we can give it a try. But now I know why my parents hid this in my suitcase."

He took a little box from his wheelchair with a tiny plastic bag in it. "Just for safety."

 

[Time Skip]

 

Airy had totally lost his wind in the hour he had spent with Scamps. He never had felt anything like that before, even though it mostly had been Scamps doing all the work. Nevertheless Airy felt wonderful, better than he had ever felt before.

"Thank... thank you, Scamps... it was amazing... You did so much for me... how can I ever return what you did for me?"

Scamps lay on the ground, panting. She felt more exhausted then her flight to the harbor, and yet, she wanted to feel this way forever. She rolled her body to look at Airy. "That...was....amazing. Don't think.....you...have to....repay me. I just got....plenty....of enjoyment....for a lifetime....with you."

 

She tried to fold her wings back in, put they would just flop right back out. Give them a minute

 

She looked back at Airy. "Do.....do....you mind.....if we....share this room....now? I can....move....my stuff over.....later..."

Airy smiled at Scamps' words. "You... you made me feel better than ever before. Let me at least invite you for dinner tonight. It's the least I can do."

A piece of text from a song he once had heard popped up in his head when he saw Scamps lying down there. He could see tht she really was feeling good.

If friendship is magic, imagine what love can be...

 

Airy had had no idea that after the time he just had had with Scamps it still could get better. But when Scamps asked him if they should share a room for the rest of the cruise, his exhausted body was suddenly filled with even more joy, and Scamps couldn't overlook that.

"Really? Well... I guess you mean my room, or shall I pack my things and stay here? Whatever, how could I say no to that?" He couldn't help but pull his very special somepony closer again and give her another passionate kiss to thank her.

"Whatever....you want. Whichever room works for you," she replied after finishing the kiss. She smiled, and by some random impulse, kissed him again. Somethings about the past hour or so had made her all lovey-dovey, but of course she knew why.

 

Well, we did good brain. Not only did we turn this cruise from a disaster to everypony's friends, but I got a coltfriend, and got this far!

 

Yeah, at this rate, you'll be married by the end of this cruise....*roll eyes

Airy enjoyed every single second he could spend with Scamps here, kissing her, holding her body in her arms, stroking her mane, feeling her heart beat.

"Well... as we already shared my room for a night, should we let you move to it then? I don't want to miss out any second I could spend with you on this cruise."

He slowly stood up and climbed into his wheelchair. "It already has been quite an eventful day, and then it's not even noon yet... Would you like to do some swimming at the pool? Somehow I'd love to do that now."

"I don't know...I kinda like this room. Well, bed really. And I'd feel bad to just leave this here..." she said, looking down at it.

 

"I kinda want to take a shower....you can move your stuff over. And then we can go swimming. Or whatever."

 

She kissed him softly, and then got into the bathroom, and washed herself off.
