Airy nodded. He was fine with both, and carrying all his stuff really wasn't such a problem for him with his wheelchair. When Scamps entered the bathroom, Airy left her quarteer and walked over to his one, packing all his things plus his bedding. Mabe he'd need it.

After he had made the room look like he had entered it at the beginning of the cruise, Airy locked it and walked to Scamps' room again. The door was closed, but not locked, so Airy decided to knock it to tell Scamps he was back.

Scamps finished her shower, and soon heard a knock. "Give me a second!" She called. She quickly wrapped a towel around herseld, and looked in tbe mirror. Shoot, my mane is wet and ugly. I look totally presentable.

 

She ran over to the door and opened it. "There's plenty of spare drawers for your stuff, and I think there's still some room in the closet. And um, sorry for looking like this. I'll go ahead and get changed and dry off." She grabbed a swimsuit and her mane dryer, and began to dry herself off, followed by getting changed in the bathroom.

Airy began to unpack his things in Scamps' room again, not only because he had some time left but also because he needed his own bathing suit that was somewhere in his suitcase. He quickly stowed his things away in the closets and sat down on the floor. Without being to move his hind hooves, getting a pair of pants on wasn't that easy. And it looked quite funny.

Scamps finished drying her mane, and looked back up at the mirror. Okay, I look somewhat presentable now, but not fantastic. But it will have to do, I supposse.

 

She cracked the bathroom door a bit, and called out to Airy. "Are you almost done? Can I come out now?"

Airy still was sitting on the ground trying to get his bathing suit on. He hadn't done it in a while, but after a few failed attempts he managed to get it right.

"I'm ready! Sorry it took so long, haven't been wearing that bathing suit in a while. Good thing it still fits!"

He stood up again and climbed into his wheelchair and saw Scamps come out of the bathroom.

"I wouldn't have let you take me this far just to say I wanted to go somewhere else!" Firebolt said, chipperly, smiling at Windy in a cat-like fashion ((There needs to be a word for that. ^^)). "Shall we go then?" She asked, playfully biting his ear.

She emerged from the bathroom, knowing that Airy was "decent."

 

As if you even care at this point....

 

She grabbed a pair of sunglasses and began to walk out the door. "You ready?" She asked. She walked out, and up to the top deck, and found two lawn chairs they could use. She sat down in one, and motioned for Airy to take the other.

 

"There's nopony here! We practically have the pool to ourselves!"

 

She quickly ran, opened her wings and flew, did a flip and dove into the deep end. She giggled as she came up. "Water's great!"

Airy followed Scamps' advice and put his towel on the lawn chair next to Scamps' one. The mare immediately headed towards the pool and athletically jumped in.

"I'm coming too! Wait for it!"

Airy opened a buckle at his wheelchair and turned his face to the pool. "Better get out of my way!"

Airy started running towards the pool, and just a few centimeters in front of the edge he smashed a red button at his wheelchair. In the very same moment the wheelchair stood still and let Airy's body go. He put both his fore hooves in front of his body and dove into the water. After a few seconds he reached the surface again.

"I always wanted to try that!"

Scamps giggled even more after Airy's dive. "That was amazing! You're amazing, the things you can do!" She smiled, and swam over to Airy, and pecked him on the lips. "Did I mention that you're amazing?"

 

She did a quick back-flip in the water out of pure joy, and then emerged from the water to see what else Airy would do.

Windy, instinctively, batted Bolt away when she nipped at his ear, a flash of annoyance in his eyes and anger in his voice. "Don't do that!!" he snarled, before he realized what he had said. "I'm sorry." he said in a contrite voice. "I just don't like when ponies touch me like that. It... it doesn't bring back fond memories. But its still no reason to snap at you. C'mon, lets get some pizza." he said, motioning towards the pizza place, and trying to brush the outburst under the rug.

"Oh, stop it, you're embarassing me", Airy responded and blushed quite a lot. "I just used the laws of physics and combined them with my wheelchairÄs emergency brake. There isn't much more I can do, even though I can hold my breath quite a while when being underwater."

Airy took a deep breath and disappeared under the surface. He moved his fore hooves to get forward and swam almost through half of the pool before he had to breath again.

"Yeah, that's about it. Not too impressive, I know."

"Embarassing you in front of who? The clouds?" She laughed again. "And after scientifically explaining it, it sounds even more impressive "

 

She swam underwater, trying to hold her breath as long as Airy did. She came up about 3/4 of the way through, as she was out of breath. She came up, gasping for air. "Well....you can hold it longer than I can." She replied after getting back into normal breathing.

Firebolt jumped back in a bit of a shock. Last time she checked, most stallions liked that. She sighed in relief at Windy's apology, though. "A-Alright." She stuttered. Trying to force herself not to stutter didn't seem to work all that well. Which was... not good.

Airy grinned and took another deep breath to maybe break his own record. He dove under the surface again and used everything he had to get forward.When he was halfway throught he pool, he still had some power left, so he kept swimming. After three quarters he noticed that he was about to get dizzy, but before he could abort his attempt, his fore hoof hit the wall.

He immediately went up again and gasped for air. "Phew... I... I made it!"

 Stepping closer to Bolt, and trying to talk in a reassuring voice, Windy murmered, "Bolt, I really didn't mean to frighten you. I think its cute that you did that. Its just, when I was a colt, I had ponies do that to me, but not to be cute or nice like you, but to harass and bug and hurt me. I didn't mean to jump down your throat, its just you doing that reminded me of... them. I'm really, really sorry."

Once again, Scamps tried to one-up her coltfriend, but like last time, was not able to. This time, she made it just over halfway across. "Dang it, you beat me again!"

 

She swam over to him anx playfully dunked him under the water. She stuck her tounge out at him when he emerged. "I may have been beaten, but I can always do that."

Airy had no time to catch some breath when Scamps pulled him under the surface. He flailed around under water, not because he felt like being in danger but because he hoped he'd be able to spatter some water on her face. When she finally released him, Airy had to catch a deep breath.

"You think? Are you sure you're prepared for anything?"

Still saying his words, Airy wrapped his hooves around Scamps' neck and pushed his lips on hers.

Scamps leaned back as she was hit. "Oh yeah? You...." She was cut off as Airy kissed her right then and there.

 

He challenged me. And that's a challenge, challenge. Accepted.

 

She almost instantly began to add her tongue into it, trying to act upon "the challenge" and see if he was ready for anything.

Airy hadn't really expected Scamps to do anything since there would have been so many things she could have done, but when she suddenly pressed her tongue against Airy's lips, he istinctively knew what to do. He opened his mouth a little bit and touched Scamps' tongue with his one, wondering that Scamps was able to hold both of them over the surface while only using her hind hooves to swim...

Oh, com on, Airy. Try harder. She initially thought.

 

 

She then figured out the hard way the problem; her hind legs weren't enough to keep oth of them up. They wre thrown underwater as her legs gave out, and the only air she could get was from Airy. She let go, and swam up to surface, hoping Airy had enough power ro make it up.

Oh brain... why did you have to remind me of that? Now look what you have done!

Oh Airy... we're not going to do the 'Because you predicted it, it just happened' thing, are we?

Okay, okay... Just warn me earlier next time.

As Airy somehow had seen that come, he was able to get to the surface by himself again. "Sorry, didn't mean to do that... I just forgot we didn't stand but swim."

"It's fine," she replied, as she gently swam over to the edge. She pulled herself up and sat on the edge of the pool. "You didn't know, and it was my fault. I just....you challenged me. And I can't back down from a chalenge."

 

She then grinned a bit. "But if that's challenge is still on, we could continue. Nopony's here, anyways."

Airy grinned and also swam over to Scamps. He held up on the edge and pushed his body up with his fore hooves. He needed a few tries before he managed to sit down next to Scamps, but eventually he managed to do it without any help.

He laid his right fore hoof on Scamps' shoulders and gently pulled her head to his chest for her to relax. Her wet coat felt very very soft, and Airy somehow was very happy to have such a mare in his hooves.

Scamps sighed as she rest her head on Airy's chest. She wrapped her hooves around him, and pulled him into an embrace.

 

She suddenly had an idea, based on a picture she had once seen, some kind of ad for a movie. She wasn' t sure id physics allowed it, but she wanted to try.

 

She spread her wings, and shot up while still holding onto him. While in the air, she closed her eyes and kissed him, her wings in the beating cycle of going up.

Airy's body shoke a little bit when he suddenly lost touch to the ground as Scamps flew up in the air, still holding Airy. However, as he was in touch with his very special somepony, he felt... safe. He somehow was a hundred percent confident in Scamps' abilities, and defying gravity while kissing her was a wonderful feeling...
