That actually would've been the thing for a lady to wear to last Saturday's Kentucky Derby. Too bad she and her friends are off to oust an air polluting dragon instead. The drawing looks great, I can't really say theres much to complain, unless you count that its not colored, but thats more of a choice thing really . It looks really well done! Wingnut 7,001 May 7, 2013 Author Share May 7, 2013 Thanks for the feedback, guys. I left the feather uninked deliberately to give it a light, feathery appearance. While drawing her tail was fun, it was cumbersome to ink. I can’t draw long, looping lines without stopping and restarting. When I’m on my game, I can make it look seamless. But, unfortunately, the stops and starts are visible here. If I persist doing things the old fashioned way, I’m sure I can make my art look near-professional as it did in the past. It's hard to believe I drew and posted that on DA seven years ago already. But as you can see, I may be new to MLP, but I'm a veteran at fan art of other cartoons. Maybe one of these days I could buy Photoshop or a similar program and finally enter the digital age. Virtually all of the most gorgeous eye candy we see online now is either colored or made entirely on a computer. Sorry I didn't notice your comment sooner. I used a Skilcraft ultra fine point marker to ink the lines with. I'm glad you like it and thanks for visiting. Also LOVE the Powerpuff Girls one too, looks really canon (as does Rarity) and takes me back to the days when I used to draw Powerpuff Girls.
