Emily blushed slightly as she mixed a little bit of sugar into Moonstruck's tea. She did the same with hers and walked back out into the living room with the tea. "Here you are, mademoiselle." She said, placing the tea on the table. "Sooo...parhaps we should go srough a couple things..about earth and stuff. Um...what do you want to know ?" She asked.

 

Moonstruck reached out a hand towards the glass of tea, then withdrew it hesitantly, eyeing the mug with some apprehension. More reliably  she lowered her had and sipped from the mug where it sat on the table. After wiping her mouth off, she thought for a moment, then said, "Are you from Prance? You sound Prench."

Charles arrived to Chicago, as he went to his assign House on State St. as he was looking around then found his house and then park into the driveway. As he getting out, unlock the door while setting up everything and then began to rest on the couch to watch some TV. Since he was driving a long time and it was 5:40 PM central time here while looking outside see what going on.

Liam chuckled as he watched her eat. "Humans usually eat with these", he said, holding up his fork, "Although honestly I've never cared much about table manners. Do whatever makes you feel comfortable. And yes, we have jobs. I play music downtown for money. It's not the most lucrative job, but I enjoy it all the same."

 

Star glanced down at the fork. She reached out with her hand and attempted to pick up the fork...but it slipped between her fingers and fell back to the table. She blushed slightly and mentally decided to just keep eating the way she was. "You play music for a living ? I wanted to back home but I lived in a tiny town where...well, I wouldn't have made enough...but I guess that doesn't matter anymore." She said, sadly, staring down at the ground. She felt like crying again but she held it back, not wanting to make Liam feel awkward.

Liam could hear the sadness in her words and wanted to do something to comfort her. He gently held her hand in what he hoped was a comforting gesture. "Don't worry. I promise if there's any way to get you back home, we'll find it. I can't even begin to imagine how hard this must be for you. I'll do whatever I can to help." 

 

Star nodded. "Thank you, Liam. I'm happy I was found by you." She said, giving him a weak smile. "I just...what will everypony say back home ? My parents...Diamond." She took one shaky breath before leaning down and eating some of her salad.

When ze earth makes one rotation it as been one day. When ze ole earth moves around ze sun it as been one year. When it iz night. One side of ze earth iz facing away from ze sun...which means it iz night. Ze moon does not ave anysing to do wiz night and day. You can sometimes see ze moon during ze day actually." She explained, using her hands to imitate the movements of the sun and earth...and moon...

Liam didn't know what he could tell her to make her feel any better. There was no way he could understand what it was like to be separated from everyone and everything you know. "I don't know... I guess just... try not to think about it. Everything will work out just fine in the end, I'm sure. I'm sure we'll think of something sooner or later. In the meantime, try to take your mind off it and just make the most out of your time among humans. Maybe... would it help if I played you some music?"

She handed the atlas back and pulled her knees up to her chest again, finding the motion comforting. "What happened to me?" she murmured. "Where am I? "You all have really never heard about Equestria? Just south of the Crystal Empire? We have the biggest cloud cities, and the Princesses, and...everything...how can you not have heard of any of those things?" She choked back a sob of fear. Everything and everypony she knew was gone as though it had never existed. It might, she reasoned, make a mare a little bit upset.

Alex made a 'cuckoo' motion to his head and Allison scolded him. They stayed silent, hoping to not further frustrate her. They pulled up to the apartment building and got out of the car. Once out of the car Alex quickly turned around and opened Fluttershy's door for her. "Were here" he said and locked the car with his keys. 

 

Alex and Allison led Fluttershy to the apartment that they shared with Magneus and started to show her around.

 

Once walking into the apartment, a hallway was directly in front of you. After about 4 paces forward the hallway opens up into a living space connected to a kitchen. At the end of the hallway is a bathroom on the right side and a bedroom on the left. On the opposite side of the hallway opening into the living space is another bedroom. Once you walk in immediately to the left is a coat closet.

 

In the living space there is a transformable (into a bed) 3 cushion wide cotton couch facing a medium stand across the room with a large old style TV on it. Behind the couch is a portable fold up table with a desktop computer and monitor.

 

In the kitchen is a spruce wood countertop all the way around (excluding the connection to the living space) with a stove/oven and a microwave right above it. A fridge. The walls are painted a light tan/brown except in the bedrooms. The bedroom #1's (end of the hallway) walls are painted eggshell/light yellow and bedroom #2's walls are painted blue.

 

Alex walked over to the couch and laid down on it. "Magneus sleeps in here on the transformable couch, I sleep in the bedroom lead from the door in the middle of the hallway, Allison sleeps in the bedroom at the end of the hallway. Bathroom is at the end of the hallway on the right." "And if you need any clothes you can just ask me. You look to be about my size" Allison said as she moved over to the couch and sat on Alex's chest, squeezing the air out of him. Alex pushed her off and sat up straight. "You don't have to do that every time you want to sit down, you could just ask me" he said and sighed. Allison laughed and sat back down on the couch.

Moonstruck actually fell over laughing, collapsing sideways in the armchair she sat in. "The sun... And the moon... Raise themselves..." She forced herself to calm, taking several seconds to do so. Once she had... "That was really funny." She brushed her hair out of her eyes, and said seriously, "The Princesses always raise the sun and the moon with their magic. It's because of them that we're able to grow crops and survive."

Fluttershy took in the room with wide eyes. "Oh, thank you really, but that's okay," she said when offered clothes taking a look at her dress, realizing for the first time that she was in a full getup. Maybe that was why Magneus had felt the need to compliment her. Getting really lost wasn't a special occasion, after all, and when Rarity dressed up otherwise, it was because she felt like getting complimented.

"You don't have to give me anything. I don't normally wear clothes, and, well..." she giggled a bit and tried spinning, an interesting maneuver which came naturally to this form and which she found quite fun. "It looks like I have a free ensemble!"

 

She took a peek around all the rooms. They were still so bland, and the walls so flat and square, that she didn't like it much, but Fluttershy knew better than to say anything about it. This was obviously where her rescuers lived. "So, are you all friends?" she asked, looking at Allison sitting next to Alex.

"Yes, we have four Princesses," Moonstruck said. "And they're all very kind rulers. Princess Celestia raises the sun in the morning, and Princess Luna, the moon in the evening. It's really weird how they're overlapping here. And Princess Cadence practices love magic."

Fluttershy relaxed visible. She recognized the magic of friendship when she saw it, no matter what kind of creature it was, and suddenly she felt much safer with these humans, even the ones she'd just met. They would help her, she was sure--which was good, because just now, it was starting to sink in to Fluttershy that she could be in this strange place for a while. Ponyville was not a hop away on the Friendship Express.

 

"So, um..." Fluttershy did have lots of questions, but she didn't want to seem rude asking, as she took a seat on the couch next to Allison. There were a lot of little objects in the room she didn't recognize, especially metal things, and it felt a lot like going to Zecora's house. But there was one question which bothered her enough to overcome her recitence. "I don't mean to pry, but...I couldn't help but noticing, outside...there weren't any animals." A frown furrowed her face. "Where are all the animals?"

So you’re a…  Changeling from a land called Equestria. Colette instantly stopped laughing the instant she saw Rainbow Head in pain, instantly regretting doing so. "Oh, sh*t! Stay here, I gotta go back and get my car! Don't move until I get back!" With that, she turned and climbed back up the cliff's face, pulled herself back up and was off and running in an instant. She wasn't far from her house, and she passed the hospital more than enough times, so getting there would be no problem, and it save her a call to 911!

 

Within minutes, Colette was running through the front door, and bolting to her room. She grabbed her car keys and her phone, then was back out of the door. It was but a moment later that Colette was back, jumping out of the car and jumping down from the cliff "I'm back! Do you think you can stand?? I gotta get you to my car…"

"No problem! Not going anywhere," Rainbow called weakly at the retreating beast.

 

When she came back and asked her to walk, Rainbow rolled her eyes. "Can I walk? Just listen to yourself. I'm Rainbow Dash, the fastest flier in Equstria! I could gallop circles around you with all four hooves--uh..." Rainbow grunted in multiple kinds of agony. "Never mind. Guess you wouldn't recognize me. I'm not really feelin' myself right now."

 

At least my voice sounds the same. Why the hoof is that?

She rolled herself onto her side, trying to get to some position where this body could force itself up on all fours, or twos, or much of anything. She got into a position where her haunches were folded underneath her, albeit in what Rainbow considered the wrong direction, and her forelegs were braced against the muddy ground to keep her upper half balanced.

"Just...just a sec'...I'm just warming up is all..." Rainbow thought of Soarin' staring at her, evaluating her, and forced herself up on her wobbly hindlegs. Gritting her teeth against the pain, she took one step forwards, and another, looking for a way back up to the road she'd saw. Luckily the creature with her was there to lend a shoulder.

Rainbow could ignore the pain. It wasn't her body anyway. Yeah, that was all, she told herself. None of these nerves, none of these places in herself, should really exist, so what should it matter to her if they were messed up? "Urk!" Something crunched; okay, so maybe it was a little uncomfortable, but it shouldn't matter! Her real self was probably snoozing it up on a cloud somewhere after beating the stuffing out of Chrysalis...this was just some weird body-snatching incident...

Woah! Wait a minute! A thought occurred itself to Rainbow that made her force herself the rest of the distance the beast wanted her to go. If there was somepony else in her body...she shook at the thought of somepony else being inside her, stealing her. They better not be doing anything to mess her up! Or, you know, anything embarassing with her. Rainbow might have to schedule a few extra thunderstorms when she got home to sort out justice after this mess.

 

When she was placed into the backseat of something that looked just vaguely like one of Celestia's chariots--hay right, they should give me the royal treatment. There's something at least--Rainbow crossed her mental finish line. Then she passed out.
