I would really appreciate if I could get your opinion about it!

I hope it's worth something to your eyes, I'm a beginner ^.^

Like I said, I would love it to have critics, what's wrong and what's right, so that I'm heading in the right direction.

Well, I wouldn't know what's wrong , but I know what's right: It's bucking awesome! 4th drawing, eh? Best 4th drawing I've ever seen. How is this made? Like what software and such?

Oh, lovely, lovely representation of Ms. Hooves!  Love the shading you did especially, and she looks so happy!  Can't wait to see more from you in the future!!! biggrin.png

Wow! Do I really need to say anything more, just wow! It's quite amazing for a fourth drawing. Are you some famous digital artist in disguise?

For "something quick" and especially for your fourth drawing, this is really impressive. I don't think you give yourself enough credit. As for constructive criticism, you'd have to ask somebody who actually knows something about art.

Maybe I am, and it's just starting to take off his disguise, I don't know tongue.png

Everything comes with practice, but with what I've come so far, I guaranty I won't stop here soon

''Something quick'' May be a metaphor...

The official product took me maybe 3 hours, but this doesn't count what I didn't kept.

Originally there wasn't supposed to have a cloud floor, but I felt like Derpy looked better being over them and the rain. And yes, I'm a slow worker wink.png

At least if you ask me(and I'm not an artist) :)

And after taking a look at the other replies I think I can say that the overall opinion is positive derpy_emoticon1.png

This is really, really good for your 4th drawing! ohmy.png

Now for the critics - The shadow on her head looks kinda strange..I don't know how to explain it, but I'm pretty sure shadows doesn't cast like that. The rest of your lighting looks fine though. Also I've noticed her mane behind the ears doesn't align with the other one in front.

Overall it's a very nice picture. Good job. biggrin.png

The main shadow on her it IS indeed kinda weird,

I wasn't sure about how to do it to stay in harmony with the curve of her head, and told my self ''Well, I'll just draw an almost straight line across her head, that'll work''

Gotta learn a few things about anatomy laugh.png

I'm no expert on lighting or anything. Plus I'm bored out of my mind for now, I made a small lighting reference for you. As I cannot explain it in words. tongue.png

I see, I'll take notes, this is simple and explain itself very well, thank you! I guess this is two methods of shading?

I think I'll go with the left one, it feels more natural ^.^

No problem. ^^

The picture doesn't show two methods of shading actually. It gives on an idea of how you should draw shadows depending on the light source. On the first one, the light source is on the front right to the character, like in your picture. And on the second one, the light source is coming from behind the chracter. Notice how the sun position changes.

Sorry, I can't brain in the morning, I just realized the sun changer position..

I'll just save this for further assistance when I'll do the shading,

Thx alot!

I particularly like the way you drew openings in the cloud cover which reveal the landscape below. The only problem I have is that the distance seems a little out of proportion. The mountain top appears to be very tall, but the ground looks fairly close through the cloud breaks.

Other than that, a very nicely done picture of a very amazing pony.

The perspective is indeed out of scale, I wanted to finish it to start on other projects.

I'll keep this in mind for futur drawings :)
