Really?

I can't believe we have reached death threats.

All I can say is....  I expected better from this fandom.

Some people have been really immature as season 3 ended, but THIS?

I really expected better, however, right now, I'm dissapointed...

I do know there are a good number of good people who support DHX, and to those people, you are what makes this fandom live...

I'm really disappointed at this fandom. That does not exclude MLforums, while the death threats didn't come from here the toxic hate is equally as damaging as it is in 4chan and other parts of the internet.

what happened with those bronies that fell in love with the show even if it was morally "wrong"? with those who laughed at Pinkie Pie's crazy jokes and sang along at her random songs? what happened to those bronies whom hearts stopped the first time they saw Fluttershy on screen?

And most important, the people that praised friendship from above any other thing? I've been seeing shitty people on the internet and the media and actually bronies were the first group of intenet people who really were genuinelly nice.

We are acting like IF the franchise belonged to us and any change that it's made into it, we'll protest like wild animals, exactly like we are doing now, this is all saddening and the worst part is that they're all a bunch of hypocrites, by saying this or that about Equestria Girls but ignoring the fact that MLP FiM is as girlish, cartoony and innocent,

Death threats? Jeez, what the hell is the world coming to now? I myself am not that keen on Equestria Girls, but to send an empty threat to take a life because you hate it? Absolutely disgraceful.

These guys that sent these threats should be criminally charged for it, because that's what it is: a crime. (In my country at least, and I can't see the US or Canada being different)

That's actually a good point, as death threats are in fact a prosecutable offense in Canada, which it would fall into jurisdiction-wise given DHX is officially Canadian. Up to five years in jail if the defense is stupid about it, and about a year and a half otherwise. http://www.defencelaw.com/utter-threats.html Not sure what would happen if the threats were issued from *outside* of Canada.

death threats? again? seriously, wtf internet?

on one hand, death threats seem to be becoming so dang common i can't help but feel they are starting to lose their shock value.

on the other hand, the world is full of crazies, and i wouldn't DARE ask the question of whether or not they are bluffing.

also, how do we know if this is actual bronies, or malicious anti-bronies posing as bronies?

I'm very angred and dissapointed at these guys. What do they expect to accomplish? Nothing. They really need to stop, it's happened with Derpy, Twilacorn, now this. We all should stay positive instead. Giving it a chance, I respect ones opinion, but when you send threats to the crew, that makes me mad.

I wish these crazy ones wouldn't be like this. All you can so is shake your head at this. Besides that, the fandom will stay strong and #Brony4Life

As much as I dislike the trailer this goes beyond the call of duty. I am an avid protestor when I feel things aren't right and i'll show my solidarity through not speaking or doing a certain thing but to actually call these people/e-mail/show up at their place of work/call their relatives threatening their lives?  For fuck sakes people that's not cool no matter what it is they've done.  These are still human beings..it wasn't their fault Hasbro decided to be a corporate menace and say 'Yeah make this movie or we'll hand you a pink slip.'  Their just doing their job so they can provide for themselves and their loved ones. I agree with alot of you though on the surrounding issues but there's a better way of handling this..like not buying their merchandise, stop watching FiM, writing a non-threatning e-mail stating your discourse with the movie.

You people do realize this hasppens in just about every fandom, right?

Even the overall demure ATLA fandom had nutjobs sending death-threats based purely on their shipping not becoming canon.
