Suggestion to the forum

I'm not sure if suggestions are supposed to be here, but couldn't find any sections there would fit

-So i have 2 suggestions ;p

 

#1: Make a section for suggestions. (Shouldn't be too hard ?)

#2: It would be awesome if you could make a chat on the forum, and i mean like a real chat...

Not like a thread (which we already have). But an IM chat thingy, on the forum ;p

#2: Similar to what Gummy said above, before installing a chatbox we want to have a solid and dedicated community. Twilight Sparkle (Feld0) suggests at least 500 members before installing it.

Yeah, but we have gotten on this topic before.

Chatbox's usualy kill forums, plus cell phone users would get lagged out.

Hmm... I don't think so, cuz on another forum i'm at the chatbox is almost dead

and the forums aren't

Yeah but what I see alot is people drift to the chatbox and stop using the forum.

Plus in my experience alot of fights start in the chatbox, and we all know we don't want that.

It is probably why twilight is waiting for 500 members so just enough people will continue to post.

It is different from forum to forum. On some forums, a chatroom can co-exist peacefully with the forum itself (it doesn't seem to hurt my Wii U community, at least) while it may kill others. If I see that a chatroom here causes a significant reduction in forum activity, it'll be removed.

Yeah but I love your idea to wait for alot of members. That way there is a mix between the forum and chat users.
