That's cool. I've been a fan ever since I was either 7 or 8 years old. My first game was Sonic Heroes, but then I got bored. Then I watched some of the Sonic in brief and Sonic in 3 minutes videos. They are hilarious!

I've been playing sonic since as far back as I can remember. I was playing sonic 1 on the genesis and I hard to try so hard to get past the first eggman boss. I've since gone back and and beaten it =P

I've been a Sonic fan ever since I was 7 years old, me and the blue hedgehog go way back, the first game that I've ever played that I can fondly remember is Sonic Heroes for the PS2. Sonic has had a impact on my life and I consider him to be my role model, I've pretty much been attach to him since childhood.

OMG!!! I soo can't believe somepony actually posted a thread like this *squee* I am a major sonic fan i have watched every single season of every single series released in north america. I am even reading a webcomic that continues where SatAM left off, in short its a season 3 webcomic and it is super amazing.

I like the Sonic series, but I'm probably not as into it as I used to be. Admittedly, I strongly disliked Colors and Generations which other fans seemed to enjoy. I can't say I like the direction Sonic is heading in, but hopefully his next few games will be worthwhile.

 

Favorite character: Blaze the Cat

Favorite game: Tied between Sonic 2 and Sonic Adventure 2.

Favorite pair: Sonic and Blaze (as an awesome, butt-kicking friendly duo)

I'm glad you like it bro. I've always been a huge fan of Shadow, you can tell because it's part of my user name. I liked the the way the game grumps played Sonic '06. Especially the beautiful moment.

I haven't played many Sonic games, but I enjoyed the ones I have played...

 

I also like the original Japanese version of Sonic X. (The 4Kids version makes me want to...break something...)

Yeah, I am definitely a Sonic fan. I might have a lot of interests in TV shows but, I do like Sonic in the shows and the games. My favorite Sonic character would have to be Shadow for being a badass and well Sonic and Tails of course. Can't really forget Tails at all.

 

I wish I did play some Sonic games besides Sonic Rush.

Yep, huge Sonic fan. I have been since Sonic the Hedgehog 2. And my wallet has Sonic on it! That being said, Sonic is my favorite character. Sonic Adventure 2 is probably my favorite game. I've never really thought about shipping. But I think the interactions of Rainbow Dash and Sonic would be pretty priceless. As for shorts, no idea.

Hells to the yeah, I'm a Sonic fan. First Sonic game I ever played was Sonic 2 on Genesis (which I'm also pretty sure was my first Genesis game ever). For some reason, my mushy little kid brain never quite figured out the attack pattern for the final showdown with Robotnik, so it's only in recent years that I've beaten it. Same story with Sonic 3 (+ Knux), but I beat S&K on its own quite a few times. Also had 3D Blast as a kid, which I enjoyed back then, though I now realize how clunky the game mechanics really are.

 

To tell the truth, I've never really played any Sonic title after that, other than briefly dabbling in Knuckles Chaotix on an emulator. There's something about the 3D games that I don't find appealing, though if I could get my hands on them I'd probably give them a chance. (Except Sonic '06, that one seems to be the most universally panned Sonic game ever.)

 

Favorite character: Knuckles

Favorite game: Sonic (3) & Knuckles

Favorite pairing: Don't really have one, I'm not familiar with enough of the post-S&K characters to make such a determination. Sonic+Dashie is a cute thought, but I'm personally not one to root for non-canon pairings.

Favorite short: Don't have one of these either, but if you want something Sonic-related, I refer you to a reading of a hilariously bad Sonic creepypasta:

Pretty big sonic fan, I have played every game but 06, since I don't really have the money and so many bad reviews came from it, so I just watched it on youtube.

4. Sonic for hire is hilarious. They are currently working on season 7.

 

Though honestly what would of really made Generations a game winner would of been the addition of the chao garden. Haven't seen one since SA2, and hell, I spent more time in the chao garden then I did in the actual game

I've been a Sonic fan since I was a wee lad. My Sega Genesis came with Sonic 2, which was my favorite game for a long while on what would end up being my favorite console as well. I've played an all-emeralds run through of S3&K every single year religiously since I was 15 (I'm 27 now). I played the hell out of Sonic Adventure when I got myself a Dreamcast, and then Sonic Adventure 2 Battle when I ended up with a GameCube. I skipped over Heroes and Unleashed, but thoroughly enjoyed Colors and Generations.

 

Musically, I paid tribute to the Blue Blur about a year and a half ago, and I'm contributing a remix of one of the most recognizable tracks on Sonic CD's U.S. soundtrack for OC ReMix's upcoming Temporal Duality album.

 

Favorite Character: Sonic the Hedgehog. I'm vanilla like that.

Favorite Game: Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Not just my favorite Sonic game, but my favorite game of all time.

I used to be a Sonic fan. Played the original games on the Genesis when I was a kid back in the early 90's, because I'm an old fart like that. Haven't liked the more recent ones. I think the last on I liked okay was Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast. Although I'm told Generations is good...I should give it a try.

It is a very fitting tribute to the Sonic franchise in terms of the newer games though the one I would most recommend would be Sonic Colors. It is kind of a shame that there aren't any more of the newer Sonic games that are like that the last new Sonic game other than that, they released Sonic 4 as a digital download on the Wii, Playstation 3 and Xbox360 but so far I have only seen them release chapter 1, they are really taking their sweet time releasing the rest of it.

 

I have been a Sonic fan for quite a while, since the days of the very first Sonic games. I remember playing Sonic 1&2 on my Grandpa's Sega Gamegear and of course kept track of the series ever since
