Star Rain packed her stuff up and left the classroom, but she waited outside for Flare. She thought he was getting the biggest chastising of his life for standing up for her and Corona, but she saw almost the opposite when she peeked. She smiled at that when he left the classroom, looking alright. It all changed though when she went off to math class and she accidentally ran into a pony horn-first.

 

"Oh my gosh! Are y-" she was cut off by the mare's anger. "Watch where you're going, dork!" she yelled. "You could've killed me with that sharp horn of your's! You even tore a hole in my new scarf!" There was only a small indention in the scarf and there was a mild bruise underneath it. "B-but my horn is pretty blunt! A-and if it is then-" she got cut off when she noticed the number of ponies surrounding them.

 

And none of them looked like they were supporting Star.

Corona felt a little better after Mr. Grey had lectured them. It was then that she noticed a red pony come up to her and address her making her shy away just slightly. She had to admit she was quite flattered by the fact that he cared enough to see if she was doing alright. "H...hi Sterling I'm Corona, and yes I'm okay. He only acts tough cause he doesn't like it when students are wasting a chance to learn. He seems really nice though." Corona continued down the hall and to her locker. After grabbing a few things she headed down the halls towards the next class math. Corona was dreading this class since it was her worst subject but she was glad to see Sterling sitting next to her. "So...um...what do you like to do Sterling?" Corona asked, playing with her mane until everypony arrived for class.

 

(OOC: I'm gonna let ~Dishonored Luna~ come up with the teacher for math and their personality/behavior to the students. I'll be doing this for each class so that everyone gets a chance to add their own bit to a teacher.)

Maroon heard some faint shouting outside of the classroom. He sighed heavily, flipping his pencil out of his hooves and unattaching his saddle bag. He leaped off his chair, passing through the large door that made a exit for the classroom. There, he saw a large group of ponies. He then saw a pony he reconized. Wait...No, that was Star. He clenched his teeth, trotting over quickly. With his large, unusual size, he almost stood taller then most of the other ponies surrounding him and Star. He stood beside the slender mare, spreading his wings protectively. ''Ehm. Do you all need something? Or, are you here to be worthless clumps of garbage?'' He said in a stern, protective voice, is ears starting to flatten. He didn't want this slender mare to be bullied, nor' he wanted to just sit and watch. He was her classmate, and so he would stick up for her, even if it caused a fight.

Flare turned around to see Star Rain being surrounded by other ponies and some pony yelling at her. Flare then pushed though the ponies surrounding them both. "Hey whats going on here" Flare asked looking at Maroon then at the other pony that was yelling at Star.

Sterling was slightly relieved to see that Corona wasn't too hurt by what happened at history class. 'Well that wasn't so bad wasn't it Sterling? Maybe she's one of those rarities, a really nice pony.' thought Sterling as he walked with Corona to their lockers to reorganize their books for their next class. Coincidentally, they both shared the next class: math. It was a much nicer class for Sterling; he loved anything to do with math because high school math was so easy for him. 

 

Sterling was still drowned in his thoughts until he and Corona took their seats for the next class. He was so drowned in it that he practically ignored the ruckus that occurred on the hallways. When they took seats beside each other, Sterling heard Corona ask him about his hobbies. Needless to say, the question surprised Sterling. 'A mare asking me about what I like to do? That's a complete first! ...Maybe my parents were right for once!' thought a slightly excited Sterling. He replied with some more confidence in him now, but was also cautious to not overdo himself like he normally would with most other ponies, "Well, I've always loved biology. I just love to see how organisms operate. Their anatomy, their physiology. That's why I have so much fun looking at model dissections from Equestrian universities when I get the chance! I also play some piano and violin."

 

Sterling realized that he might have gone overboard with his biological passions, so he stopped and asked Corona, "So what do you like to do Corona?"

Maroon's dark ebon glance quickly laid on Flare, his face twisted into great fustration. ''Ugh, Seriously?! Why do other ponies ahve to pop up right at this moment?!'' The enraged stallion roared loudly, his wings bending. He turned back to the group of ponies, stepping forward as he clenched his teeth and showed them with threat. He stomped his hoof, staring at them as his face twisted into a blank frown. ''You all seem perfect for dying in a hole. I would be glad to dig each and every one of you a hole to die in.'' The stallion smirked, ears flicking, He waited for their reaction, and also Flame's reaction to his snide protest.

The mare just stared at both of them in fear and a little mockery and tried to think of something to say, but she just grunted in frustration and left, but not before making Star cringe with the death glare. The rest soon followed. And that's one mare I better avoid! She walked out from underneath the giant stallion's wings and was amazed at his size. Being a little taller-than-average herself, it was quite amazing. She then noticed that Flare was there as well and realized that one of Maroon's statements was also directed at Flare. Why him? He's obviously on your side, so why get angry?

 

"Well, I uh, accidentally ran into that pony with my horn," she answered shakily. "Um, thanks for helping me out and stuff and... yeah," she said to both of them while stuttering, as she wasn't very good at socializing and it looked like the giant stallion got pretty enraged by her ordeal. It seemed like she going to have to be careful around him as well.

"Dude calm down violence won't help anyone at all" Flare said as he looked at Star. "Its not your fault its an accident" Flare said to Star as he turned to Maroon. "Whats your problem Im not the one who caused this so dont get angry at me and also why get angry at me what did I do" Flare said a bit annoyed since it sounded like Maroon was directing this to being Flares fault when it wasn't

Maroon hatefully flicked a half a pencil at the lead mare, and turned to face Star Rain and Flare. He made a rumble of determination come up his throat, and he tucked his large crimson wings into his sides. His emotionless eyes glared at Flare, leaning into his face. ''How about, you take a moment, and understand that I am fustrated.'' He whispered, growing more calm as he spoke. He turned toward Star, nodded thoughfully, and turned to trot back to math class, his head embarking soothly as he entered, sat back in his chair again, and tipped it, propping his hind legs up on the wooden platform and crossing his hooves behind his head solemly.

Corona blushed slightly at Sterling asking her that question. Her ears laid back when she heard and saw Maroon come back into the class and slump in his seat. She wanted to help but she wasn't much of confrontational pony. "Well...um...I love to go flying but that's obvious. I'm really into science and mystery so forensics is my favorite subject. Other than that I usually just hang in the clouds at night and watch the stars." Corona smiled. She was only telling part of the truth on that one. Every so often Luna would make an appearance and they would talk about things since Corona truly understood Luna's nights.

Snowdream rolled over in her bed and slowly opened her eyes. the sun was shining through her window, casting patterns on the wall. Snowdream looked at the clock.

 

"Oh no!" she gasped as she realised she was running very late.

 

She grabbed her saddlebag and galloped out the door.

Snowdream ran through the hallway, running into countless ponies as she hurried towards her locker. She threw her books in the locker and grabbed her math books. She started wondering the rooms, trying to find her math room. She reached the right room and slowly walked in. She noticed that there was already quite a lot of ponies in the room. Snowdream slipped to the back of the class, away from the other ponies in the room, not wanting to intrude on their conversations. She pulled out her books and sighed, realiseing what a mess she had already made of her first day.

Soman (OOC: if someone wants to think off a better name they can) walked through the doors to the school. He looked at the time, then at the time first lesson started. "I-I'm late? Already?" he stopped silent when some ponies went past him. He made a beeline dash for his locker, fumbling for the piece of paper with the code on as he twisted it around a bit. Hethrew all his stuff in apart from his science books and closed it as he made his way to his math. He threw the door open and was midway through apologising for being late when he noticed something. The lesson hadn't started. He had just made a fool of himself. Again. "Oh, umm. N-n-never mind." He almost whispered as he walked up and sat at an empty table.

Star Rain took a deep breath to calm herself after that whole ordeal and she walked into her next class, math. She's good enough at it to receive good grades most of the time, but she still wasn't very good at it. To her surprise, the same ponies from history were there, including Flare and Maroon. And Corona was there, too. Thankfully nopony who were teasing them was here, but there may be some who are more than capable. Sighing with slight exasperation, she took a seat next to Flare, took her sketchpad out, and began to finish the picture of the kitty.

Poppy trotted quietly into math class and sat by herself, close to the wall. Ugh Math. Poppy sucked at math. She noticed other ponies were talking to each other. That's what Poppy needed. She really needed a friend. She pushed up her black thick-rimmed glasses back up on her muzzle, and continued drawing a sonic-rainboom she saw while she was trotting to school. Poppy was also kind of sad that Corona and other ponies got in trouble. She didnt know them, but still, she could still stood up for them. She noticed some ponies fighting. She couldn't help but let out a little laugh.

Sadly, her math textbook she was carrying managed to slip out of her grip, falling onto a mare's desk, and scattering a few papers.

 

"Oh my gosh, I'm SOOOO sorry!", she quickly apologized, moving about to get her papers back.

"Oh my gosh, I'm SOOOO sorry!", she quickly apologized, moving about to get her papers back.

"Don't worry about it." Snowdream said to the mare, levitating a few papers to the Pegasus. Once the mess had been cleaned up Snowdream felt obliged to introduce herself to this mare.

 

"My name's Snowdream." She said with a gentle smile, looking at the blue pegasus

Sterling was pretty happy at how things were going with Corona. He began to blush slightly when he began to notice Corona playing with her mane and her quiet but friendly responses to his questions. Even though Sterling gained some confidence talking with mares because of Corona, it was still frightening. Nonetheless, he mustered the courage to keep the conversation going, "So your favourite subject's forensics? Neat! I've heard of a detective named Erle Grey. He's like a modern Sherclop! He solves mysteries even without many clues, and he even uses modern technology to work with the DNA of many different ponies to apprehend the criminal masterminds!"

Maroon's eyes dialated a bit towards Snow Dream and Freezing Point. The hushed stallion turned his head wearily, staring at the side of the class with a determined look. He was the only one sitting with his legs propped up on the desk. And, why was he sitting alone? Suddenly, he noticed he had been to harsh on most of the class previously, and on Flare. Since Star was a friend of Flare, she would of hated him, too. Maroon frowned, his ears lowering down. ''No one to talk to...'' The dejected stallion whispered, tipping his chair back once again and letting out a saddened sigh.

Rudolf kept his eye on the clock. It was an interesting little device, with a decoration similar to a horseshoe that gently swung back and forth in rhythm. His eyes traveled back and forth, slowly following the path of the pendulum. Suddenly the sound of a closing door struck him from his trance.

 

A powerful brown stallion trotted in the room and sat in the chair behind the large desk. He adjusted his glasses and began to speak.

 

"Thank you Mr. Jäger for being so... punctual. It pleasures me to see another bright young student all the way from Ger-Mane-y to travel here to Hoofstomp High. I, as you may already know, am the principal of this fine school. My name is Dr. Senate and may I be the first to welcome you to our humble school."

 

Rudolf blinked. He had just arrived here in Equestria a week ago, and in Ponyville just yesterday! This was all happening so quick, yet he was eager to learn more about this strange land.

 

"I understand that you are a foreign exchange student from Ger-mane-y, so getting used to some of our customs may be a bit hard for you, but I assure you that the students and faculty are here to help. Now, here is your schedule and a few things to get you started. Oh, and I see you already have your saddlebag full with the required textbooks for the course. Excellent. Well, I would't want you to miss your whole first day of school! We are currently in 2nd period right now, and it looks like you have Algebra in room 225. It's right down the hall to your left."

 

Rudolf stood up from his chair to leave and turned toward the door.

 

"And if you need anything else, just let us know. Have a great day!"

 

As Rudolf left the room he closed the door gently behind him. The halls were empty and still. Obviously everypony was in class already. It could only mean one thing...

 

"Time for a grand entrance," Rudolf smiled.

Sterling noticed Corona trot away from him and towards a really large brown pony. Sterling inquired sadly to himself in his thoughts, 'Hey... wasn't that stallion the one who also got in trouble with Mr. Grey in history? Huh... he was looking really lonely. I guess she was just more interested in him for now. Yeah I met a good acquaintance and all, but like I said, I'm still terrible with mares! For one, I don't even know what to think of them because of all the "love" stuff that can go around these parts. For another thing, often times, mares just want a pony friend for the sake of their talents and not for the pony... With what I have, that's probably what I'll get from most mares... including her...'

 

Sterling decided to refocus his thoughts elsewhere, especially since his current ones were beginning to leave him depressed. He sat quietly as he opened his math textbook and notebook. He was scoffing at how easy the math seemed to him. All this stuff he learned from his mom in such a loving way. 'No math teacher could match my mom!' he confidently thought to himself as he waited for his second class to start.

Corona walked back to her desk making the effort to the grumpy looking pony. She looked back at Sterling with a smile "Sorry I just didn't want him to feel alone. It's kinda one of my things." Corona let out a light chuckle. "I hope you don't mind but I told him he could sit near us...if...um you're...well...ok with that." Corona stuttered at the end as she fiddled with her blue tail. She didn't know why she was acting like this around a pony she'd just met. The mood was suddenly cut short when the teacher walked into the room. She was a light pink mare with a red mane and tail. Her cutie mark was that of a calculator and numbers coming off of it. Her name was Mrs. Trotsworth and from the whispers in the halls she was one of the toughest teachers in school.

 

(OOC: Darkest Day Dreams will be doing most of the voicing for the teacher and please feel free to change the name if you want I was very lazy in picking out the name lol.)
