This is of course true but what I think what most cloppers including me are trying to say when we keep the show and the clop seperate is that we appreciate the show itself for pretty much the same reasons as any other fan with the clop being a mere bonus. There are all kinds of shows with porn of them, so many as a matter of fact that rule 34 which is "if it exists there is porn of it" has often been said and is true. Despite this though I have not heard any accusations or implications of people simply watching any of those shows simply to get off even though there are far more people who do view the R34 of them without necessarily watching whatever show it is based on. That is just taking my word out of context. I never said they coudln't or do not still enjoy the show, I am saying most people that would enjoy the show could probably see how the bridge between MLP as well as many other cartoon franchises are being violated rather than celebrated through "rule 34". I get it, I understand some dudes like Hentai, or whatever, I had a friend obsessed with it, but in my eyes, I can't seem to bring myself to a level of enjoyment imaging myself plowing someone elses creative reflection of moral ethic and understanding. I am just not on boat with it. Like I said, I will co exist with the cloppers but I will want to hear, or see nothing about their clopping aka posts like this.

All I will do is agree to disafree and let you do as you please. I am sticking to the fact that INDEED all of these characters you choose to sexually arose yourself at thought of, are from the show. Well I wouldn't say that exactly but we do know that they won't delve into Rarity or any of the other ponies sexual preferences except for maybe an innocent crush here and there but it is likely they are thinking that stuff even if it isn't mentioned in the show itself. The irony is that even though they are undefined in that manner it actually gives clop artists and clopfic writers a lot of room to work with thanks to subtle hints about what their preferences might be due to their personalities. I certainly have my own ideas for what the mane 6 are like in the bedroom but divulging those might end up getting this topic closed.

I think some of them seriously don't alot of the fanbase is fairly young and new to fandoms while me personally none of the R34 surprised me, I used to be a moderator on a hentai site so I have seen my share of weird shit and clop does have that but not nearly as much of it as hentai and I have been into fandoms from a young age with the first fandoms I have been into being Power Rangers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and in the case of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles am still into. As a matter of fact there is actually clop based on G1, I actually found some once, I wasn't looking for it but I found it (although there is not nearly as much of it as there is G4 stuff) and there is this clopper forum I am on that has this guy who has actually clopped to that. It did absolutely nothing for me, but I am not judging him for it. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has R34 as well, I sometimes find some suggestive pictures on deviantart of the turtles when I search for fanart of them of course that is partly due to the fact that my safe search is usually turned off but as a consolation I also found a couple of rather nice sexy pics of April O Neal in my last search for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fanart.

I guess in that sense R34 is like a penis, the more you touch it the bigger it gets which is the rather hilarious irony of all the sentiment against clop. I wonder if Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Loony Tunes of Spongebob would have more R34 if people were as up in arms about that as they are about clop?

When Istarted watching the show, and found out that this "thing" exists, I was disgusted. But then I started reading this thread/stuff about clop, and realised why you guys do it. And I have to say I understand you guys, no judging, seriously. You have perfectly good reasons to clop. (Love and tolerance, this show taught me a thing or two.) The reason why I don't do it is because I don't like doing that kind of stuff anyways. I'm not asexual, I find women VERY attractive actually, but I kinda don't like doing it with myself. The another reason is because I don't think I could create a romantical, yet alone sexual bond with anyone from the show. I mean, I could cuddle with a Flutters plushie all night (IF I HAD ONE) without getting sexual over it in any way.

Ps. This is not implying that I couldn't create a romantic/erotic bond with some of the characters if they were real, but I can't do that if they're ponies
