Your awkward obsessions and stuff xD

Hey, does anypony else here have obsessions/fascinations that they don't really tell people about because everyone would think they were weird? If you'd like to share, please do!

 

I'll go first: I confess that I have a weird fascination with the concept of "mpreg" (I kind of prefer it with straight pairings though--or no other parent involved even). But I'm embarrassed to share that with most people...

im pretty much wierdly obsessed with the game series dead space.

i got all the games in a locked glass cover on my room,and i dust the cover off every day.

i also bought a new phone to play the app game.

i'm member of 12 forums on the topic 'dead space'

i play the games every day.

i bought a wii so i could play the wii dead space game

i bought the collectors edition of dead space 2 for about 100$,dont know how much exactly tho cause i payed in euro's.

i even captured a chapter of gameplay on my pc,analyzed each frame of gameplay until i found out where 'peng'was in dead space 3 (this was before it was available on any forum) 

...so yeah

 

i also find myself enjoying speed a little more then the average person.

i actually think driving my aprilia at top speed is better then kissing a girl or falling in love.

My awkward obssessions are the following:

 

1. My Little Pony (I know right? A grown man who like MLP! I truly am a freak.)

 

2. Rock N' Roll (Beatles, Kiss, and Queen for the win.)

 

3. Coke and Dr.Pepper ( Basically my drug. Have to have one a day to stay sane.)

Well, I have OCD, so every obsession I have is awkward I guess besides Pony, which has been on my mind at least twice a day since last April, it's Mtn Dew and Doctor Who (it's the show's 50th Anniversary, and I'm just so garsh darned excited).

Well, um... Does My Little Pony count as a weird/ awkward obsession? 'Cause I think I am definitely very obssessed.

 

And Star Trek... I think I'm beginning to be obsessed with Star Trek.

 

And the Avengers. Love the Marvel Universe.

 

And Pokemon.

 

And... fanfiction. I love a good, well-written, clean fanfic. Especially a good MLP fanfic. But only if it's clean. Don't particularly like those... other kinds...

 

Oh, and I love fanart. I like looking at really pretty artwork that I don't have a chance of ever competing with. Ever.

 

And uh... food-wise... tea. I can't get enough of tea. I have to have at least a glass every day.

 

 

Those are the obsessions that I am usually very hesitant to tell people about. Especially the fanfics, since they have a very bad reputation. But yeah!

I obsess over pretty much every fictional universe I like I become attached to characters, sometimes even falling in love with at least one of them...

 

I also tend to take the stuff I watched (usually kids stuff) and write some really dark fic about it (sometimes at least border-lining PG-13).

 

And, well, there's that thing I said above...unfortunately I can't find anything good anymore, so I'll have to provide material for myself by writing it myself...(except that I have an odd tendency to feel like characters are watching me, so I don't know if I could pull it off...)

 

I also have a creepy obsession with the idea of being eaten...yes, I'm obsessed with vore. I don't like when it includes adult content though...I've just always liked imagining being eaten since I was a little kid. (I was a strange child, no doubt...)

As well as an MLP obsession in general, I also have an obsession/crush on Vinyl Scratch. She's just soooo awesome  
As for other franchises, I'm obsessed with Metal Gear, Transformers and Adventure Time. but I guess they aren't 'awkward' obsessions.

Also, David Bowie and Caffeine, the latter of which I'm dependent on and consume A LOT of everyday.

Excluding MLP, My obsession with Disney musicals might leave some people looking at me weird. My obsession with Football Manager 2013 and roleplaying in this website would leave people cringing as well.

 

People also see me as a weirdo here because I follow the MLB and NBA EXTREMELY fervently.

Along with an obssesion for ponies in general, I'm particulary obssesed with best pony, a.k.a Twilight Sparkle. Also, while it's not an obssesion, I like the smell of new tires. Don't judge me.

 

Other non-weird obsseions include Pokémon, sad things, and I'm slowly becoming obssesed with The Beatles. Well, some other bands and artists, but mostly The Beatles. In fact, I'm planning on making a blog post discussing my top 5 Beatles albums. Stay tuned.

I have many strange obsessions.

 

I am obsessed with territorial related stuff, like borders and the like. I just like looking at maps and seeing the different borders of states, counties, etc.

 

I am obsessed with weather. I will look up pictures and videos a lot of different forms of weather, more of super cells and tornadoes.

 

Genetic sciences. Stuff like DNA and whatnot, This stuff just fascinates me to no end.

 

Space. Yep, space. Weirdly enough, my favorite thing about it is the fact of how insignificant it makes us. In the grand scheme of the universe, we are nothing and I actually like that.

 

Aaaaand other stuff. I will list more sooner or later.

I have a strange obsession with insanity. Not the real talk like schizofrenia or just having a voice in your head. I mean like that overhypped shizzle. As in I always imagine myself as a madman with my teeth filed down, who would sweep through a city and take your parents before eating them on a dish. I always saw it as " that way of saving my ass from shool that will never happen." And then there's my obsession for (To puf it in simplistic forms) clopping. And I mean the sound of a horse as it gallops along the cobbles. Just, dat noise.

As for my obsessions, my most unusual and awkward due to the things it makes me want to do would be my obsession with the aesthetics of femininity. As a guy, being primarily attuned to a girl's style makes things difficult. I really only know how to dress a girl, I'm not nearly as good with my actual gender.

-Blasting music in the night hours, people don't think it's weird, just more of a nuisance.

-I'm obsessed with 'Cookies n' Creme' Hershey Bars. 

-I'm obsessed with changing my personality every now and then. One day I'm nice and happy, the next I hate the entire human race.

-I do enjoy problem solving.

-I'm obsessed with giving advice, most of which seems to be helpful.

-I do enjoy space and robots. Oh, and Science. 

-Immortality, it's interesting and I hope one day to make it possible, especially for me.
