By the way, don't feel obliged to continue the story if you dont want to, like if you think it doesn't make sense. 

For example, Arrow might not be completely aware of the rank significance of the Crystal Onyx, or he might. He might not think of telling the guards that if he's not thinking completely straight, or he might. It's completely up to you and whichever way you take things is totally cool.

 

I'm just saying you dont have to feel like you need to know what's trying to be said at times where Enid (or Myra) are trying to tell you something. Not having things work out only adds to the RP if you ask me.

Oh and by the way guys, I would just like to thank you all who are still with us. This is probably the longest running RP i've ever been a part of, and I know it's not been easy to keep posting at times, as evidenced by the fact we lost 2/3's of our participants 

 

Seriously though, when Justin gets back, I would like to advance the plot...a little more rapidly than we have been doing. We've been in a meeting with Chrysalis in the Empire for two real days now and it's been dragged out a lot, I think. (I blame myself for repeatedly going back to it) 

 

I dare say I can actually see an ending to this in a suitable fashion, it may be the first RP i've ever been in that has been nicely wrapped up at the end instead of dying off. Granted, we're a while away from the end, but I think once we get into the thick of the main play, hopefully everypony will be able to enjoy making more frequent posts with content aside from simply passing the time. 

 

On that note, i'm going to wait for the Equestrian army to station troops before we actually make another move on any towns or cities or anything, because I don't rightly know where to attack next because it gives everypony else a chance to get somewhere and we can see some proper fighting.

Oh God, this is going to be a whole lot harder now I've read this.

 

As you may know, I haven't posted since before last weekend. I've been drifting further and further from the forums, and I've recently found out that there may be a reason for this.

I'm having some personal problems. While I do not wish to leave this roleplay, since it is the best roleplay I've done yet, I would like to take a break until I have this sorted out. I'm not sure how long this will take.

Fortunately, my character is at a good place to leave; he hasn't found the other 2 members of the Black Hoof yet, so this shouldn't cause too many problems.

 

Sorry guys, I hate to do this. Let's hope this problem doesn't last long.

If you had plans for the night, just post them in a catch up. One or two quick posts before we all join the meeting should be fine, just make sure you wrap things up quickly if you need to do that. 

 

Having the meeting take place in the morning and having someponies running around at night at the same time wont rightly make much sense

I suppose just power everything into several time intervals in one post, if you like. 

I'm not sure if Goldie was near the fighting or not, so you could easily just have him doing something else and walking in just before the meeting - or even during the meeting, if he was elsewhere.

Pretty sure that solidifies Steeleye as a general doesn't it?

Sanguine, Arrow and yourself are all generals of their own standing,

Arrow leads troops into battle from the front lines.

Sanguine leads his squad of assassins for attacks that don't need an army, clearing a town etc, and gathering information. *Note: Harmonic had to be present at Appleloosa because the town was to be destroyed, not cleared*

Speaking of Harmonic, just for the sake of story he is Cadence's second, one to relay her decisions to the others and lead her armies into battle alongside the rest of you. 

Steeleye is the scout/saboteur, route planning and tactical thinking, as well as apparently demolitions. And mind reading. Because why not?

 

I would just like to suggest that you decide on another rank to climb to - and read my posts.

Hey there's no matter, I don't think I mentioned it in the RP, so no harm done

You can run with it how you will though, like I said if you want another rank or something, just go for it.

 

I have to say, that actually upon a second thought, it's more my mistake than yours  

I do indeed remember lieutenant Steeleye Sungazer being mentioned...for the sake of sakes o.o i'll go and change my post in the RP to say Lieutenant. 

 

In my head, I had just generalized everypony else in my side of the RP as generals for the sake of keeping things simple, (Truth be told, I don't even understand ranking systems, I don't know how high up generals actually are   )

So, I apologize and will set about correcting that right now.
