Well, that happened. Saronyx had been entering the dorm wing on his way through to classes when he heard Stock's shouting.

 

Being a senior at the university, Saronyx'd had plenty of time to observe and learn about the others that had gone there. He stepped the side as the stallion ran past him. Saronyx shook his head, "I had my suspicions from when I first enrolled here, and he's only done more to cement them as fact. He really is a spoiled ass, no matter how hard a life he's led."

 

The navy blue Pegasus continues on his way down, stopping at the dorm he'd seen Stocks bolting from. He raised a hoof to knock on the door, but hesitated, speaking quietly to himself, "Perhaps I should give it a little more time before I offer my assistance..," he lowers his hoof slightly but shakes his head, "I won't be able to focus today if I don't say something." He lightly taps the door a couple times, then steps back.

Denim shrugs, "Things went pretty well for me, most of the day. Woke up with a nasty hangover and a frozen room," she chuckles slightly, "Don't ask me how that happened because I don't even know. I also met a Pegasus in class who gave me some awesome anti hangover pill things that he made from a zebra recipe. They work pretty damn well."

"I would never even think of laying a hoof on you." Gardenia ensured Blaze.

 

"Um, it is actually getting a bit late, so I think I'll just have a small dinner and get to sleep. I can't much be tired on my first day of class, after all." she said, trying to shift the focus away from Blaze's anxiety problems.

 

The rest of the evening was spent in companionable, if a bit tense, silence. Gardenia had took a few flowers she off the wall and had them for supper; she had offered Blaze some, but he didn't seem particularly hungry for them.

 

Gardenia had promptly wrapped herself in her covers after she finished eating, and fell asleep almost immediately.

Blaze pulled the covers over and turned the other way. "Uhh, yeah. Goodnight." He muttered. Fortunatley, blaze had no need to sleep. Unfortunatley that means he had to listen to a cut mare sleep for over 12 hours. He sighed quietly. "Of course I get the royal one."

Gardenia woke up approximately 12 hours later, and let out a really quite loud yawn. "Oh... wait, I shouldn't yawn so loudly, should I? I've never really had to worry about waking another."

 

She looked at the time, "it's still a few hours until class starts."

 

She looked around the dorm, and saw that Blaze seemed to have got up from his bed, alerted by the sudden yawn, "Oh, um, sorry about that. I didn't wake you, did I?"

Gardenia woke up approximately 12 hours later, and let out a really quite loud yawn. "Oh... wait, I shouldn't yawn so loudly, should I? I've never really had to worry about waking another."

 

She looked at the time, "it's still a few hours until class starts."

 

She looked around the dorm, and saw that Blaze seemed to have got up from his bed, alerted by the sudden yawn, "Oh, um, sorry about that. I didn't wake you, did I?"

Blaze shook his head. "I uhh, I just woke up a bit earlier than you did. I'm not that good at sleeping." He pretended to yawn so it seemed as if he actually slept, and as convincing as he could. "Umm, I think we should have breakfast and then uhh, something else?" He asked.

"That sounds lovely. What did you want for breakfast?" Gardenia asked, and started to nervously tap her fore hooves together, "You don't seem very fond of anything we have here, so perhaps we should head to the cafeteria, or something."

 

Gardenia let out a slight chuckle and got herself out of her bed, and brushed her mane to be more presentable.

"He.. he's going to spread r-rumors..? Me..? A.. s-slut..?" Minty's eyes clouded with tears. She looked down. "I..I.." Minty sighed, and trotted away from Windy and flopped onto the bed. "I'm r-ruined!!" She whimpered. Minty started crying silently. "I'll just sit here all day.. try to avoid everypony.. I don't want anypony laughing.."

Trotting over, Windy patted Minty's shoulder in what he hoped was a reassuring tone, "don't worry Minty, I promise I'll figure something out. You aren't ruined! Don't get depressed, I'll stop this." He said, thinking of ways to beat Todd up and stop him from spreading the rumors.

 

Redstorm woke up, rubbing his eyes and brushing his teeth. He didn't care about making breakfast, at the mornings he wasn't hungry.

He didn't saw any mark of his roommate, and he was busy, so he went to class.

(After hours of physical work...)

Redstorm walked back to the dorm. He was pretty happy.

*I love this place... I should get something to ea-*

He bumped into a running stallion. It was Todd.

"Whoa! Better watch your step!" Redstorm said jokingly.

Todd stopped, and turned to look at the stallion he had bumped into. "You watch YOUR step!" He said, before realizing he needed to keep his popularity to socially trash Windy and Minty. Shaking his head, he put on a fake smile. "I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were there... I was just distracted, you know? My mistake, I didn't mean to run into you."

Windy began pacing the room in frustration. "I don't know how many ponies will believe him... But don't worry about me Minty. I won't let him get away with this. Royal nodded. "I remember breaking down your door in the morning." He laughed. "And for whatever reason you were covered in sheets and blankets." He said, remembering her having not been clothed under them. 

He quickly rejected whatever mental image came into his mind from that.

Saronyx had waited outside the door silently for about a minute, "I can faintly hear voices... So I know they are in. Perhaps it would be a better idea to come back later? It would be something along the lines of intrusion, considering what just happened... I'll try once more, considering I didn't know very hard at first, and if I get no response, then I will simply have to wait."

 

He steps forward once more, giving the door a slightly firmer knock then before, then returns to his spot leaning against the adjacent wall.

"He does soccer, right..?" Minty asked, before Windy went over to the door. Her idea was to make him somehow make him mess up in his passion and get embarrassed by the whole college and lose his reputation. She followed Windy to the door, and saw a pony there. "Hello!" She mouthed the words.

Royal chuckled. "Though you have to wonder how much you drank." He didn't remember counting, but he sure she drank more then he did. Royal rarely drank to much.

"I didn't count, did you?" He remembered counting 6, if he was right. Anything past that was fuzzy.

"If i remember right, you got up on the counter at some point."

Saronyx noticed the door opening and pushed himself off the wall. He greeted Windy and Minty with a nod and a small smile, "Hello, my name is Saronyx. It isn't so much a matter of whether you could help me, but rather it was the other way around," he gestures with one wing in the direction that Todd had run off in, "I overheard Stocks shouting threats at you. I will commend you for having the guts to stand up to him. I'm a senior here, and have seen very few ponies, let alone freshmen, do that. They're afraid of his ruining their image. It is because of that, that I will also have to reprimand you. You've got yourself into a bit of a pit."

 

The navy blue Pegasus sighs, "Anyway, I came here to offer help, if you needed it. I can make it so that nopony will ever see him again..." Saronyx maintains a straight face after saying that for a few seconds before chuckling and shaking his head at himself, "But in all seriousness, anything you need, I'll see what I can do to help you."

 

He extends a hoof to Windy, "What do you say?"

Denim smiles, brushing a bit of her mane out of her eyes as she does, "I remember having... Well, there were the first two.. I can't remember how much I had after that," She laughs, "I do remember the counter bit though, if only a little."

 

She glances over at Neon and Rambler, having briefly forgotten their presence, and clears her throat slightly, "So, are you two a couple then? If you don't mind my asking, that is."

Royal smiled. "Thats good. You two make a cute couple. I never work that fast though, my relationships were always slow and awkward." He laughed, resisting the urge to look over at denim.

"I remember one time i spent a year exchanging glances with this one mare. Didn't turn out to much though." He said, shrugging.

He realized him and Denim hadn't ordered anything, and he waved a waitress over, getting two menus, and handing one to denim.
