Haha yup, to tie things up and keep the story moving, I just think Evening and Kismet should just be before-school friends. Perhaps their mothers were very close and they went to the same school and hung out a lot (They can't live in the same neighborhood because Kismet lives in Cloudsdale) but I think they could still be young friends.

 

Then, perhaps they were separated by... ummmmmm..... Their mothers got in a fight? IDK, something along those lines. They were banished from ever seeing each other again. Now it has been [let's say,] 10 years more or less since they have seen each other.

I think that sounds pretty good. I've got a state in Evening's backstory were her and her family moves to Canterlot, so maybe that? But her parents like make her take a pill to wipe her memory :c We could make this tragic, OR I can just make Kismet be one of those ever-lasting long term memories in Evening brain

Finally, after 2 hours of browsing, selecting, tuning, trimming, and styling, Kismet had found her dress. It was elegant and sophisticated - perfect for a formal event such as a wedding - yet absolutely cute as well. As flustered as she was when she first entered the shop, Kismet felt a lot better. She always did enjoy a bit of shopping... It was a fun activity to focus on once in a while when she was feeling... dizzy. 

 

She said goodbye to the kind mare (She had introduced herself as 'Rarity') and went along her way, hooking the bag containing the dress and accessories to her saddlebag, so it wouldn't get too crumpled. Taking another deep breath, she leaped into the air and flew on, towards Manehatten. 

 

"Towards Evening." Kismet thought.

Psh.. Thanks guys! I must say that I'm surprised! Heh I really just drew that quick to show everyone what she was going to look like for the wedding, I didn't realize it would receive such nice compliments. Thank you everyone very very much!

Since Evening had Kismet's memory enough to send her a letter, let's have Evening at least recognize Kismet and know that they were best friends, but then everything else is a blur. That would make sense since it's supposedly been a veeeerrrryyyyy long time and even Kismet's memory is a bit fuzzy.

 

Okay, as long as you approve, my next post will kinda describe how they knew each other so we can make it 'official' for the RP. After that post I will land in Manehatten and go from there. 

 

Should I meet everypony before the wedding, or just appear for the ceremony, have everypony wonder who I am, and then mysteriously introduce myself (ooohhh... ahhhhh!) Haha whatever works for me 

 

 

 

 

EDIT: Okay just warning you guys I just posted a wall of text to the RP so be prepared. I tried to keep it interesting, but there was a lot of backstory to tell between Kismet and Evening. If anyone has a problem with the way I set it up please let me know and I'll change it. Thanks and happy reading

(Such a dark piece this one is. But I think it displays the sadness, nostalgia, and emptiness in Blue's eyes really well. We wanted this to be a darker roleplay, so , you've got it!)

 

(Listen to this one too. I'd say it's slightly less dark, but it's still dark. Just the first movement though. The other two movements are much more light-hearted and pixie like.)

I don't know if I'll be able to keep it together when things get really bad for Blue Note. Things are going to get a lot worse for her before they get better. Her character grew from the idea of pony's special talent being rejected for most of their life, so she can definitely bring some drama. Also, I'm loving that piece for Blue Note.

That's the beauty of roleplaying. It's drama and fanfic combined. You're being that character and empathizing with her/him. If the post gives our fellow roleplayers tears, imagine how other guests would react. And yes, we do have many guests reading this roleplay. At one point, we had 7 guests reading at the same time. 

 

And yes I love that piece as well. It's so nostalgic and dark both of them. It's what makes music so beautiful in the midst of all the drama. It accentuates thoughts and emotions to a point where they become unbearable.

To be honest, this does seem like it will end up being higher quality than the ones I made for the others... I'm seriously being picky about single  PIXELS here (Well, at least until I give up, but it'll look ok anyways~)~

It'll also be a much higher resolution than the others... As I now be drawing on me new computer~ (32 times the CPU-power, and even a couple of GPUs REALLY help with the old lag and almost-crashes I had~)

 

Other than this, a proper connection to the internet is still not available for me, but this at least works for posting here every now and then~

Clover woke up thinking about 'last night' how Steel and her had kissed for a while and such..

Sterling and Evening talked about their wedding, Sterling is heading to the chapel, Evening to a hotel where her sister, her parents and Kismet are...

I think Blue and Sterling are having a flashback..

Ponies from Sterlings Uni are helping set up things at the chapel..

Well when I said I'd be playing on the piano my musical compositions, I meant it! I've got three ready so far, two for Stevening, and one for the entire Tropical Odyssey group! The first two are love songs that I came up with out of the blue. I was probably humming the tune and I really liked it. The orchestration is the hard part because I need to make sure all the voices sound really good. Like I said, "The Cruise of Your Life" is almost finished, but I still have to refine the ending; I'm not sure how to make the ending really epic you see?

 

And DJ, don't worry about the villain song. I have a good idea going with that, but I haven't had the time to arrange it for orchestra! I'm also planning a song that will start off the musical. I'm not sure how it will go yet, but it'll definitely have the glamorous New York Style, like "New York, New York". Once I get all these musical numbers orchestrated, I can start making musical numbers for the other characters. Just tell me when you want them to have a musical number and I'll see what I can do.

 

By the way, I'd love to make musical numbers for this roleplay as well. I already have a very sad song for Blue Note and am planning a reunion song for Evening and Kismet.

Sterling was wondering why North thought being a flower boy was something difficult to do. After all, all he had to do was to carry flowers... right? He replied to North with a sheepish smile on his face, "Don't worry about it North. It won't be that hard at all! I think it just involves you walking down the aisle with flowers and throwing it across the chapel rooms so everyone can marvel at the flowers and hope they bring good luck! At least, that's what I think Evie told me... Well you can ask her once she arrives at the chapel later today! It's not hard at all I assure you!"
