'' It is a good thing, that I am not busy at all today. The time that we have on this mission and the funny comedy around here is like endless.''  Giggling a little at how many possibilities that she has when it comes to having fun with the group. '' Oh well, this calls for some singing.'' Listening to the birds chirping in the trees.

 

This day is going to be perfect

The kind of day that I dreamed since I was small

Everypony will gather around

To see I look lovely in my gown

What they don't know is that I'm in love

The sun rose from the horizon, and eventually everypony went to bed, to wake up when the sun was setting.

Lyona yawned as she woke up, blearily looking around. Getting up was rather hard, but she eventually managed to shake the drowsiness from her body. Stretching, she looked around at the sleeping bodies of her soldiers.

 

" Rise and shine, everypony! It's time to complete this Everfree mission." She coughed.

'' I guess that I'll be winning the bet now, since Impetus did not kiss me.'' Walking with Lyona, with a grin on her face. '' So, we can put that behind for now since this mission is so much fun!'' Finishing her version of ''This Day Aria'' song just for the fun of singing it.

Lyona shook her head. " The bet lasts until the mission finishes. So you've still got-" She coughed again.

 

" Damn, this stupid cough will be the end of me. I'll go cook something up for us all to eat, I bet you're feeling pretty hungry by now."

 

With a small smile, Lyona headed to her saddlebags and took out a packet of hay bacon strips and some on-the-go cooking utensils.

It didn't take long for the smell of food to rouse Cinder - crawling out of the sandy pit covered in a new layer of ash and soot from her most recent 'experiment'.

 

"Wow, I am starving!" she declared. "Forget how much roughing it and fighting for your lives takes it out of you... Morning everypony!"

Impetus, his eyes still closed, but already wide awake, smiles. Heh. Mares can't resist me. The Royal Guard rolls out of bed and his tent, leaping to his feet, already grinning. The first line of This Day Aria plays over and over in his head.

 

This day is going to be perfect...

'' You read my mind, or you could say.. you read my stomach. But you are right, the bet is still active. Food break, a good morning to you too Cinder.'' Her horn starts to bring some hay bacon strips over to the group, splitting it very evenly among them. '' Time to chow down!''

 

Chewing on some hay bacon strips. '' Very delicious Lyona. Good thing that we have enough food for everypony.'' Holding in her enjoyment of the delicious food. Fireblaze tries not to sing another song.

" It's been some time since I've eaten hay bacon. Which is practically four days, but it felt like, forever." Lyona's eyes were dreamy. 

 

" I don't need any special somepony, I've got my bacon, and that's all that matters." She took another bite, waving to everypony that eventually woke up. She nodded to Fireblaze's words.

'' I'm glad that you agree with me, since I'm telling the truth.'' Nodding over at Lyona. Fireblaze's eyes start to turn a bit tired.

 

'' I know that you can have bacon over a very special somepony, indeed. So, I got you a cupcake as a token of friendship.'' Holding out a delicious cupcake in her hooves. '' Just for you.''

Impetus grins, whatever Royal Guard grumpiness (and clumsiness) he had seeming to have rubbed off during the night. "I'm with you there, ma'am!" He looks enviously at the cupcake. Even a stick of hay would suffice, if it were given to ME as a token of friendship from HER.

Lyona grinned awkwardly. " It's okay, you can hang on to it until the end of the mission of give it to somepony else. I'm pretty full already."

 

-How the heck did she get such a perfect cupcake here? If she brought it along with her, then why the heck did she bring a friggin' cupcake to the Everfree?-

 

(No, it's blue as it should be... You're not having any luck with your avatars, are you? xD. Maybe something happened to your video card or whatever it's called...)

Fireblaze nods over at Lyona's decision. '' But I insist, you can have it. It is just one token of friendship that I have left, since we arrived in the forest.'' Starts to grin a bit awkwardly, hiding a very sad face behind. '' Don't worry, it won't make you full. It is a small cupcake.''

((Yes, something happened to my video card. I'm gonna need repairs pretty soon.))

 

Impetus cheerily, brushing off his uncomfortable thoughts, grabs a strip of bacon and munches a bit off. "Horrible! I hate - Ah-ha-ha, the look on your face! Just kidding, these things are great." he says through chewing.

'' Don't worry, it won't make you full. It is a small cupcake.''

 

" I'll keep it for later. It does look rather tasty..." She smiled again and placed it carefully in her supply box then into her saddlebags. 

"Thank-you, Fireblaze. I appreciate it."

 

-I'll probably eat it later, as a snack. I should start trusting her more, it's not like she was trying to poison me...-

Lyona frowned when he practically insulted her cooking, then rolled her eyes when he finished the sentence. 

 

"Eat up, then We haven't got all night.)

 

(Gotta go! It's midnight over here.)

'' Good, it is definitely a delicious treat for you to enjoy later. You definitely earned it after leading us on this spectacular mission voyage.'' Fireblaze smiles at Lyona, rubbing her hooves together in a very nice manner. '' I feel that we are getting to know each other as good friends.''

Impetus finishes his breakfast in a matter of seconds. "Mmm... now what are we doing about that siren-thingy, captain? He goes to fetch his lances, strapping them to his back. "I'm just about ready. Vengeful Celestia, if I sharpen my lances anymore, they'll be so pointy they'll probably cut straight through the time-space fabric! Ha!"

 

She's sort of over-friendly, considering how she's been acting over the last two days, Impetus thinks, glancing at Fireblaze.

[The Elusive Cinder 1,328]

"Oh great, I've got Ineptus saying it now... Symphonies going to kill me." Cinder grinned munching on her breakfast.

 

Was it called breakfast at this time even?

 

 "Vengeful Celestia!" She clarified. "Friend of mine said it a lot. I think she was hoping it would catch on. At least, I hope thats what she wanted or I'm in trouble."

"Vengeful Celestia, you're in trouble!" says Impetus, flashing a fairly perfect smile. "I'm not quite sure I appreciate the nickname, but, oh well. I'll let you know when I come up with some corny and mean name for you. Ah, well." Impetus twirls a lance around, assuming a semi-gallant pose with a gleaming weapon in one hoof and a toothbrush stuck in his mouth by the other, as he vengefully brushes his teeth.

'' No, not at all. The only time I did set off fireworks was at a holiday event in Ponyville.'' Trying to set up some fireworks, but she waits for a while to start lighting up the fireworks for a very special event. '' I know that before we end the mission, it will end with a bang!'' Fireblaze flailing her arms in excitement.

 

 

 

 

WHUMPH!

 

 

'Speaking of bangs!' Silver stated, jumping to his hooves. "What was that?"

 

Silver trotted in the direction of the explosion just in time to see the smoke rising to reveal a very soot covered Cinderblock rolling around on the ground. He hid his snicker behind his hoof. He kept himself hidden behind the bushes listening to the conversations around him.

 

 

"Vengeful Celestia, you're in trouble!" says Impetus, flashing a fairly perfect smile. "I'm not quite sure I appreciate the nickname, but, oh well. I'll let you know when I come up with some corny and mean name for you. Ah, well." Impetus twirls a lance around, assuming a semi-gallant pose with a gleaming weapon in one hoof and a toothbrush stuck in his mouth by the other, as he vengefully brushes his teeth.

 

"Never mind I think I have this covered" Silver whispered to Impetus as he passed the golden maned stallion.

 

@, "Morning Evening Sooty, you know you're the only earth pony I've ever met that can summon a thundercloud. " Silver kept trotting past til he reached the breakfast and gobbled down his hay bacon with a smile.

Cinder grinned at Impetus "I told you, stop falling in rivers then! Anyway, you'll struggle - there aren't many names that I haven't heard already." She chided, wiping the lenses of her goggles uselessly before settling on simply pulling them down around her neck. "Sleep well?"

"No, well, actually, yes... relatively so." he says, eyeing the other ponies who look tired and sleep-deprived. Impetus finishes brushing his teeth, pulls out a pocket mirror from his pocket, snaps it open, and admires himself in it. Then he turns it to Cinder, waiting a full half second before depressing a button and causing the mirror to break. "Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha!" Impetus throws his head back and laughs, wiping back tears. "You should've seen your face! Oh, wait. You did! Poor mirror..." Impetus grins. "No hard feelings, right?"

 

The Royal Guard takes a few steps towards Cinder - before tripping over his toothbrush and falling on the ground. "Sometimes I think I'm distantly related to Derpy or something..."

"Laugh it up Blunderhooves, we'll find a nice puddle or patch of mud for you to fall into on the trail no doubt." She grinned. "Even if it takes us all of ten minutes."

 

She briefly considered switching his water with alchemical alcohol, like what Silver had done. Unfortunately, that would have been both dangerous and a terrible waste of good materials. Instead, she resolved to sneak one if her smoke bombs into his pack at some point... Those never failed.

The Royal Guard takes a few steps towards Cinder - before tripping over his toothbrush and falling on the ground. "Sometimes I think I'm distantly related to Derpy or something..."

    

 

 

 

Silver watched with amusement as Impetus tripped over his own tooth brush. "Now that takes real talent. He whispered sarcastically to Cinderblock. "If I stand next to him I'll look graceful and co-ordinated myself!"

 

Silver Note blinked at Impetus.

 

"You know Derpy?" He asked  Impetus, his ears pricking forward with interest. Silver really hoped to see her again some time soon. He had so many questions he wanted to ask her.

 

 He wasn't quite sure whether he should laugh with Impetus, or defend Cinderblock. He glanced from one to the other looking a bit confused. Opted to do nothing at all, and then trotted over to check on the sleeping form of Lyona. Yes, she was still breathing. but he was worried by the unsteady rasp of her breaths. 

 

'I just don't know how to convince her that we need to seek help and come back later to complete the mission. No mission in all of Equestria is worth the loss of her." he said out loud.

 

(( OOC cute pic! I like your style actually. Love the expression. Mine is taking longer because I had to sleep, work, do assignments, and my sis borrowed my lap top so Im' stuck with the notepad. Noooooooooooooooo Guess I lost this challenge. ))

Lyona yawned, slowly blinking open her eyes. She looked around to see that mostly everypony was awake. 

 

" Finally! I thought I'd take a nap while the rest of you were still getting ready." She said, standing up and rubbing her eyes. " So is everypony ready, cause we have to get going!"

"I don't think anything short of tying her up and carrying her back would work... And I have doubts about that..." Cinder muttered back to Silver. "Just keep her close enough keep an eye on..."

 

"Ready ma'am! She saluted towards Lyona, giving off a cloutd of black dust in response and causing herself to sneeze. "Right behind you!"
