Meeting When A New Episode Comes Out?

When Season 4 starts I'm most likely going to start meet ups for whenever a new episode comes out with my brony friends. Does anyone else do this? Or do you have any strange traditions when you do that I should try?

Well, first off, Season 4, bro... Yeah, we've come that far.

 

Now, as to the topic at hand, I don't know about some of these other folks, but I don't usually hold a gathering at my house simply for the sake of watching ponies. However, I did go over to a buddy's house for the S3 opener because he invited me. You do whatever you want, though. I ain't gonna tell you any way is right or wrong.

Anyway, I see the logic in that, but for me being brony is primarily a social experience, and it seem like meeting up would be very fun.

I will admit that that is true on most occasions. However, I prefer to watch most of my shows alone. Partly because it ensures I get the optimum seat from which to view the television, and partly because I find it difficult to watch anything if someone else is there talking/laughing/making noise.

 

I don't know, though... This show is different. I haven't really tried a legitimate meetup yet, so I guess I can't knock it till I've tried it.

I've always wanted to try a meetup, but there aren't any available where I live. 

It's just a fun little thing to do where you can socialize with other bronies. Some people make huge events out of these meetups. and go to local Hot Topics, pink aisles of Target, quick dining joints, or even local parks to chat and play games. 

I hope your efforts for starting meetups go well, they're a great idea for meeting other bronies and making new friends.

Thank you. I have 3 friends who would be interested (most likely). I'll probably post it up on the meetup map though too, seeing as I'm considering opening up to other bronies in the area.

If I wanted to do a meetup of some sort with bronies for S4, I would probably have to go to the US, since bronies in Brazil are non-existent. So because of that, if a new season of something is being released, some popcorn and Guaraná (type of brazilian soda) handle the job just fine .

A Meetup for new episodes sounds like a great idea for most people.

 

However, I won't be attending any, because I think it'd be unseemly to watch this grown man squeal like Ned Flanders on The Simpsons just because he's seeing The Great and Powerful Trixie on television for the first time in over a year...
