Please review my Forum Banner

Hi everyone i dont really photoshop much but i wanted to make a banner for the forum because i got inspired from all the great artists here. I hope you all like it. It is my first time so i wont mind if theres anything wrong with it.

 

 

I am a little worried about the title because i think its a little too small. And is there a specific size number for the banner or is this fine?

 

Heres another with Fluttershys eyes open and the title slightly increased in size

 

 

I think i like the second one better

I think this is a pretty good forum banner, and I think this really should be on the Forum. But I think Fluttershy's eyes should be open....? Other than that, it's great.

Good job, there! Wish you luck that it will be accepted. All mane six and chrystalized sure is something. Maybe the "MLP FORUMS" is a bit too small, but that's the only "flaw" i see.

 

EDIT: Submit the second one. Submit it!

It looks good overall, but I have a small issue with it that you were asking about too. The font size. "MLP Forums" should be a bit bigger, and maybe even moved over to the right a bit. Other than that, it looks good.

You were onto to something here, but like everything, there are flaws:

First of all, it's best to just include one pony or else it looks really cluttered and distracting. In this case, I feel like just a single vector of Rarity as a crystal pony would fit in well. It just looks very amateurish

 

What you did with the brushes, you should tone it down. You know what I said about including too many ponies makes it distracting? The same thing goes with brushes, I don't even know what to focus on and there's no flow.

 

Onto the positive things though: The colours look good and you have a great base to continue working on. It's just that you overdid it, tone down some things and leave out the distracting details, and this can potentially be a great banner

That's a good font size.

 

As for moving it to the right, I meant moving it just a teeny bit. Not far enough to reach the search bar, but just a little bit.

Looks great, you did an excellent job on it. You should definitely make the text bigger though, the only problem I see really. Fix that, and then submit it to an administrator to see if you can get it on the forum!

Normally I review animation, but personally it's actually pretty good. The characters are sharp, the colors are vibrant, and the the ponies have been crystalized. I don't see that a lot for some reason. Oh well. Gold star.

Awesome man!  Wish I could make super awesome banners!  I just have to find one I like.  But still awesome, this may just be me but maybe you should put something else to the right of it.  It seems a bit empty in the area that says MLPFORUMS, but again thats just my opinion.

Looks pretty good I think, I definately agree the second one looks better.

 

Maybe need to make the font a little bigger still.

Good job on this! I would be pretty happy seeing this as the site banner. You did an amazing job, especially for your first time. Like other people above me have said, it would be better if you made the MLP Forums text bigger. I can't really think of anything else that needs improvement. If I had to choose, I think the second one is a bit better Fluttershy looks nicer with her eyes open.

I think you should submit the second one,it looks awesome!I think that they would definitely accept your banner,it looks very good for a first one.
