Oh, that's what you had in mind? You could still have that going on, say, if Steeleye's regiment accidentally pasted Goldie's regiment in a friendly fire accident?

Also, could you inform me a little bit on the historical war you are referencing? Mainly: Who was fighting, why, and where major battles were. So I don't butt heads with you on that. (I'm formatting the 2nd Artillery off of Germans and Britains currently.)

Aye, a friendly fire sounds like a good idea.

 

Crimean War was The Brits and French against the Russians (It was really the first time the Brits and French had fought side by side in...gosh...ever XD). The Russians had crossed the Danube and intended to take Constaintanoble, mainly because they wanted land and because the turks were just "lowly muslims". Britain stayed rather neutral on the matter until a Russian Fleet destoryed a Turkish merchant fleet. This alarmed Britain, because it potenitally challenged their naval supremacy. France was already getting ready for the fight, but Britain went a head and join her.

 

Basically, horrible planning, bad weather, lack of transportation, and most importantly: Bad orginization, made this a rather horrid war, many British soldiers froze to death or were exhausted to death in the brutal Russian Winter. Their clothes were quite literally in rags and proper food was unheard of during the cold months.

 

The allies (Britain and France) main target was the port of Sebastopol. If they took that, Russia would lose it's naval dominance. Bascially the seige dragged on WAY longer then expected due to the main reasons provided above, and it took just about two years to capture the town instead of two months.

 

 

Major Battles: (In Order)

 

The Alma: First major battle of the war. British and French troops took Russian battery positions on the Great Redoubt and other places nearby.

 

Balaclava (It's where the Charge of the Light Brigade happened, I think just about everybody has heard the name once perhaps?. :3) Russian offensive in attempt to drive allies out of the harbor of Balaclava ( it sent supplies up to the allies beseiging Sebastopol.)

 

Inkerman: Costly for both sides, stopped a Russian offensive at Inkerman Heights. The fog proved rather disasterous for both parties.

 

 

Sebastopol was being beseiged once the Allies landed in Balaclava (the battle of balaclava wasn't until later though)

 

Sebastopol: Main target of the allied forces. Took two years to take, and was only taken after the Russians evacuated the town. (It wasn't a battle, but a seige.)

 

 

 

 

Lots of soldiers were admitted to Asylums because of the war. It should be said that many british soldiers died of Cholera as well, because it was rather rampant towards the beginning, but never really left the army.

 

 

Anyway...that's pretty much the gist of the historical part ^-^

I come from a lineage of roleplay (which in bloodline terms is none, but in adoptive terms is rather extensive) that enjoys putting a butt-load of details in. We're better at storytelling (hence the length) than back and forthing.

Hey everyone. I'm back! BronyCon was awesome, my panel went well, even though the other two panelists didn't show up, and I even got to talk to Feld0 about a future project over breakfast, not that y'all would've asked or cared, but... Anyway, point is, I'm back and posting at 100% again

I also just want to let everyone know that Ice Storm will be watching this RP and told me that if he has to shut it down again (will be the 3rd time), he will not let it be rebooted again. The first time it was shut down 'cause of r34 and all that. People who did the deed were perma banned (I got off 'cause I didn't post anything explicit( and the second time we had it shut down 'cause posts had died down immensly.

What is the limit to characters per person? 

Because I have Broken Cloud/Fallen, who has the same thing as Jay/Jinx, as well as a new OC named Sweet Symphony who has schizophrenia. if needed i could also have Mint Remedy be a nurse of some sort.
