katana "this probably won't end well for me but ah well cant let either of us die without trying to influence the rules of your game  and what cards do you hold I see no cards in your hand I simply see a hand unless you have a trick up your sleeve but then again I see no sleeves" Josh smiles widely "so why try to kill us?

"hmmm ill have to stall for time and mull over your question for another minute or ten" Josh said while observing his surroundings 

"there is no way to strike a deal with you to get you to leave us alone this time?" everyone has a price and surely we can find yours"

as Josh said this his smile fell "a fight would end badly and i think  that both myself and Paint wish to live as do the rest of the group"

Suddenly, somepony behind Zycrin spoke up.

"They are both walking away." A voice said.

"You heard me! Put the blade down and walk away!"

The stallion pulled out his revolver, aiming it at Zycrin's head. The pony was standing further than Zycrin could reach with his sword.

"huh well that put a dent i my little disappearing act plan but i guess the help isn't unappreciated" Josh stared at zycrin sword still drawn and a small pellet in the other hand "you could disappear though zycrin as it appears that you no longer hold the cards in fact you never did" Josh,s smile returned as he readied to move at the sign of attack

It had been too long of a wait for Zeta. He was too impatient and split from the trotting group, which left Ghost, Thunder, and Grand alone by themselves.

He walked into the direction they had, doing his best to  retrace their steps until he heard some talk just from in front of him. Taking a stealth position, Zeta hid behind some bushes to peer out and look at who was there.

Surprisingly there was Josh and Lady together, confronted by the pony who he assumed was the one who shot his shoulder from the bow he had on him. Then just behind him was another pony whom he didn't recognize, but must of been someone that found them like this.

His full intention though was at Zycrin, assembling his rifle again quietly and loading one bullet in the chamber. He then took aim at the right shoulder and stuck his hoof on the trigger.

Magic cannot dodge a bullet when you're 10 feet away from the target.

 

And with that, he fired the shot.

Grand walked slowly over to Thunder, pulled the book out and flipped the page to her mother. "looks like we are in the same boat" she says, trying to lift the mood. she closed the book and looked at Thunder, smiling through tears in her eyes. "look, I know this sucks, but we have to keep moving, for them. Maybe in Appleoosa you will find a good friend, or an aunt. We just need to keep up hope, and keep on moving" she said, hoping the pony would understand.

((Alright, I'm gonna try this again.))

 

Toaster sat in the PonyVille clock tower, watching the dead below wander about aimlessly. It has been a couple days since he entered the tower, and he was getting low on supplies and ammo. Sitting up and looking out into the night, Toaster adjusted the custom rifle saddle he wore and brought the firing bit up to his mouth. He brought the sniper cope of his M1 Grand, a little keepsake from his countless universe hopping, and aimed through the scope. His breathing steadied and he soon spotted a zombie filly. It just sat there, milky eyes staring up at the tower.

 

Up at him.

 

Tensing up, he readied the shot. He breathed in, and out. In again, then out again. In again and -BLAM!- The shot rang out and the 30-06 M2 round dropped the rotting corpse, sending a fountain of crimson fluid into the air.

 

"I wish I hadn't lost my toaster, or I'd be outta here by now." Toaster mumbles to himself, frowining at the event that caused him to loose his time travelling toaster.

 

((Instead of being in the City, he's been in PonyVille since the beginning.))

"Its only funny that you think you can still walk away from this. I have been in worse situations than this." With that he teleprted behind the pony with the gun, landing a huge blow and the back of his head, knocking him out cold. "Still think you can leave alive. You are wrong, you or Lady will die, an it will be now." Zycrin then drew his bow and pulled back an arrow. " Last chance to save yourself Josh."

 

(sorry about the delay posting this, my internet is running slow today).

Grands ears perked up as she heard a gunshot ring from ponyville. Survivors. "we have to go back to Ponyville, NOW" she said, turning around and bolting. she didnt care who it was, nopony should be there by themselves, and that gunshot was going to attract even more trotters.

Josh smiled " i love herbs i love herbs for many reasons they can heal but when mixed can have decent effect like this little one here in my hand" as josh said this he threw the pill to the floor causing smoke to fill the area. when the smoke had dispersed it appeared that Josh and lady had vansihed

Pretty much I gave you all notifications about me being just behind you guys and firing a shot at Zycrin which is pretty much destined to hit him. I don't know if you guys didn't see it or not but please, we need to read every post here so there's no confusion between all of us doing many things at 1 time ))

Feeling the bullet from the rifle penetrate into his body, Zycrin froze for a second before he came to terms with what had just happened. The shock and pain caused Zycrin to loosen his arrow which flew passed joshes face slightly cutting him. Zycrin fell to the floor, the trama had caused him to pass out, but not before saying "Well played but a futile effort the poison on the arrow will kill josh within two days. Enjoy the last moment of your life." Zycrin passed out.

(again I cannot post fast enough to keep up with what is happening. Sorry if my posts look out of context).

[The Ponyville Critic 304]

Fire Horn woke up, he must have gone to sleep at some point, everypony was gone. They must all have gone to Ponyville, deciding that he didn't want to stay there all alone, he left the camp for Ponyville, it would be a small trot and it would be filled with Trotters, so he left.

Thunder Roller wiped away the tears and continued trotting along hoping that the book was lying.

(( Thanks guys, sorry about posting there but I was kinda getting frustrated at being ignored. Also Josh, you can edit your post to be surprised by the rifle shot made by Zeta, then after Zycrin passes out you can leave ))

 

The Stallion was partially knocked back from his shot, clenching his teeth in pain since the kick from the rifle hurt his shoulder more. But in his slight adrenaline rush, he stood from the bushes and slowly walked to the fainted Zycrin and began punching his face before nearly falling to the ground beside him.

Zeta soon started to breathe heavily and limped back a little. Only speaking a few words before going back to his rifle and leaving.

"Lady, Protector.."

"nevermind" Josh picked up zycrin and walked back to the tower where he heard the shot he didnt look for anything however instead

Josh tied zycrin to a pole hanging off the  side of the building. then to disable any advantage zycrin could have him Josh slashed his face with the used arrow and fed him a herbal brew that would disable magic and rot him from the inside. Josh then sat and wrote in his notebook waiting for zycron to stir

Grand didnt bother looking back, unsure who followed her and who stuck to the plan. \she was right about one thing, the trotters have only multiplied, and she saw a lone pony on top of the belltower. She dodged through the trotters as well as she could, but often hooves grabbed her, luckily not breaking the skin. By the time she made it to the Clock tower her legs were quite bruised by the attacks of the trotters on her. she slowly walked to where the broken staircase was, and called out " is anypony up here?" she said, pain evident in her voice

More shots rang out, but not at Finale. After the eighth shot, a metallic ping! was heard and a cartridge fell down the stairs. The sounds of an exchanging clip were heard and shots rang out again, this time, an angry voice with them.

 

"I CAN DO THIS ALL NIGHT, YA' DAMNED ROTTERS! I HAVE PLENTLY OF AMMO TO TAKE YOU ALL OUT!" the stallion yelled.

Zeta followed Josh back to Ponyville where surprisingly everypony was. It seems like they had the same intention all the way round when the other shot was made.

Upon arrival though, he stumbled and fell onto the ground, panting from his injured shoulder which had gotten worse as they were walking. He pushed it to its limit, and had internally fractured another bone inside him.

Grand assumed this pony wasnt going to answer her anytime soon. she tried a teleportation spell again, to an utter failure. frustrated, she yelled " I RAN ALL THIS WAY TO BE IGNORED?!?!?! GET YOUR FLANK DOWN HERE NOW!" in her fit of rage she didnt see the young trotter enter the building behind her

Josh stared at zeta "your hurt it fortunate that i got more supplies the madonna lily i got is perfect for fractions" Josh threw the madonna lily and moss to zeta "just break up the lily and rub it into the wound then tie the moss over the wound with lily vine i woudl do it but i dont think you like me doing it"

A shot zipped past Finale and popped the undead filly's head like a bad zit. At the top of the stairs stood a rather handsome toffee colored stallion with brown hair blue eyes. Freckles adroned his cheeks, and there was something else:

 

A rifle barrel pointed right at Finale. The stallion glared as the firing bit was near his mouth.

 

"Who the buck are you?" He asked.

" Are you serious?!?! first of al, That is not how you address someone who risked her life to come find you, and secondly those shots are only attracting three times the amounts of trotters your killing!" she said, very angry at this mannerless pony. " I came here to invite you to join our group, but clearly you would rather risk ponies lives!" she said, very flustered
