"Ugh, what happened?" she mumbled, putting a hoof to her head as she tried to stand without support. She teetered from side to side a bit, dizzy from using so much energy, but she sat down before she could fall. Looking around, she sighed. "It didn't work, did it?"

Minath titled her head, as if concentrating.

 

"It kinda worked. You did a small amount of damage to the stump, so you managed to train the output. That means you don't have to aim your wings, just your mind. Your wings is where the magic gathers," Minath said, then touched her hoof to where a horn would be on Aura. "But your mind is where it travels. If I can help you train your mind, you can control and even wield your magic. But it will take time."

Chivalry took the book with his magic and started reading it. "Heh, you don't need to worry about me with shield spells... When it comes to that... I know my way around." Chivalry continued to read the book. Instead of skimming through it, he intended to read the fine line and detail. Just so he wouldn't mess anything up.

The ground started to shake under the ponies hoofs, and small bits of smoke started to leak out of the Tartarus.

Guard: Hurry, the spell will not last much longer, he is starting to break the spell hurry cast the spell. Everyone else prepare of battle.

The guard blew a horn and a few more guards came to the ponies location.

Guards: We will help you protect The unicorn while he cast the spell, the creatures of this relm, wish to aid in Caras's escape, we must not let them reach the unicorn, or we all die. Prepare For battle.

The guards took formation and awaited the arival of the creatures that were sure to come.

Chivalry felt the ground shaking. "I'm almost finished just a few more words." Chivalry read on. after a couple seconds he finally finished. "Alright, let's do this. IS EVERYPONY READY? Well you all better be because here it goes." Chivalry closes his eye's and focus's his magic. "I need a about minute to gather enough energy for this. Fend off anything that tries to stop it!"

Crimson noticed the ground shaking with the power of an ancient alicorn and grinned in anticipation as he got into fighting poition and ignited his body in flames, "I hope this caras guy is as strong as celestia says, because I'm itching for a good fight right now! Bring it you alicorn wussy!!" Yelled crimson loudly, attempting to taunt caras.

Tempest smirked as he got ready to fight. "This is to easy. I've beaten worse things in my life." He thought.

 

Dark Opal reared up and stood on her hind legs. "We make a stand here. They shall not pass." She thought. The black dragon then got ready to fight the demons.

Minath's winds flared as she got prepared for battle, and her horn glowed in an almost sold state of pure magic. Although she didn't know much domestic magic, she was a brightening sight in battle.

 

"Lok'tar Ogar! Victory or death!" Minath yelled ferociously at the top of her lungs.

Aura looked at the stump. it looked slightly charred.

"Yeah, i figured it would take a while. I'll just go ahead and hope that I'm naturally good at this kind of thing. Otherwise, I don't know if I'll be able to learn enough before we face Caras. If I don't learn I don't know if I'll be of much use here..." Her ears drooped as she said this. She wanted to be helpful.

A stallion came up behind her and started talking.

Aura jumped and then went statue still as the stallion spoke to her. She slowly turned to face him, wide-eyed and startled beyond belief.

"Wh-wh-wha... what?" she stammered. Already, someone had caught on to the fact that she had magic.

Great job, Aura, way to keep a low profile. Now what?

"Ye-yes, I'm Aura Feather... H-how do you know that I was using magic?" she asked, her tone both defensive and accusing, while at the same time, her voice was shaking with worry and left-over surprise. "Were... Were you eavesdropping on us?" 

Though the pony seemed friendly enough, she was suddenly wary. If he had been eavesdropping, how much had he heard?

There was not enough time for the spell to be cast before the walls of Tartarus came crashing down in a large explosion.

((Enter Caras))

"After 10000 years of waiting, freedom at last. The glory of freedom, the taste of fresh air is such glory. Would you all not agree. As for you Chraknirek ((aka. Guard)) it was you who had kept me imprisoned here for 10000 years, and you shall be the first, to suffer." Caras engulfed the Guard in a thick cloud of smoke, slowly suffacating him and killing him. "We what have we here, 4 ponies, a dragon and a thing. I guess the current ruler sent you all here to stop me. Well you are all to late. I will spare your lives this once, only for you to tell your ruler, what is her name. Celestia, that you have failed, and that Caras has returned and I will not stop untill I get what I desire."

 

((Caras is now in the story, I will still voice the other ponies that have roles to play but no person to fill them, E.G Celstia, luna and others. Let the fun begin)).

"Like hell you will." Minath said, then charged and attempted to plunge her weapon into Caras.

Aura Feather stood up and flared her nostrils. A thing? He had no right to call her such a name! She was furious.

The yellow mare saw Minath charge with her weapon and a determination flared up inside her. 

Minath had tried to help her with her magic, and now she wanted to return the favor somehow. 

But how?

An idea formed in her head. It was risky, but she didn't want to be the one who sat back and did nothing, and she didn't have much else going for her except for being a fast flier.

Aura quickly tried to focus her magic. She envisioned it as a white-hot ball of light, and fixed her mind's eye on Caras. She concentrated, let the heat build up, making her wings feel like they were on fire, and launched her magic at him with as much power as she could muster without passing out again.. It probably wouldn't damage him much, but she hoped it would weaken him at least a bit, or at least distract Caras from Minath so she could get away before he hurt her.

"Don't you ever call me a thing again..." she growled, swaying from using the majority of her mental energy.

[RAGESTAR 479]

Crimson growled in annoyance as caras attempted to suffocate the guard pony with smoke, "oh no you don't! I'm not Letting you kill anyone on my watch scum!" Said crimson before teleporting into the smoke, grabbing the guard and quickly teleporting them both out again. Crimson then laid the guard pony on the ground and glared up at caras without fear, "and you can shove that message of yours up your plot! I ONLY DO WHAT I WANT!!" Yelled crimson before igniting his hoof on fire and shooting a massive fireball at caras's face.

[Chivalry Knight 161]

'Darn it, i was too late' Chivalry thought to himself. Chivalry then cracked a smile "Heh, all well, I GUESS THERE'S NO POINT IN WASTING THIS ENERGY I STORED UP!" Chivalry took all of the energy he built up and created a massive energy bubble from his horn. "Alright you, Get ready for this. [New Skill] "MASSIVE ENERGY BUBBLE!"" Chivalry shot the bubble at Caras, it was traveling towards him like a high speed bullet. After firing the shot, Chivalry collapsed a bit, but regained himself almost instantly. "THERE'S MORE WHERE THAT CAME FROM! Energy Bubbles!" Chivalry shot multiple energy bubbles along with the Massive Energy Bubble.

Stardust watched the fight down below. She had felt the many disturbances and seen the many demons that crossed into the realm that they lived in now. She could definitely recognise the signs of something coming back and no one was going to stop her having some fun.

Stardust jumped from her position above and landed right next to Caras as he was belted with all kinds of abuse. She cast out a sheild for herself so she wouldn't get to damaged and started to gallop towards the group ponies in front of her.

"What the? Who in the hoof is that? No matter. it seems that she's trying to help Caras." Chivalry regained his energy quickly after he popped his bubbles. "She seems to be headed right for us. Well let's see if she can stand up against this!" Chivalry creates a Barrier Bubble around himself and dashes towards Stardust.

Stardust gained speed as she galloped faster towards the ponies in front of her. Her head down for minimum wind resistance, though she did look up to check if she was still heading for the group. The fact that another pony was charging at her, a unicorn no less, did make her think for bit.

Stardust gave up on her plan of heading towards the group to fight. 

She sprayed her wings wide to get herself to a stop but the up draft from that action lifted her up, exposing her belly to the others below but quickly corrected that so she started to head towards the ground. 

Today she was going to fight on the ground, with muscle and magic than rather her usual fighting style of above the ground level.

Chivalry was charging right for Stardust. "I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE! IF YOUR HELPING CARAS THAN YOU ARE MY ENEMY!" Chivalry soon became close to Stardust, he then jumped in the air. It looks as though that he is planning to dive onto Stardust with his Barrier Bubble.

The pony jumped and went right for Stardust. No way was she going to dodge the impact so she prepared ,with what little time she had, for the it. The pony  body slammed right into her, knocking them both down, back to the ground. There was the smallest of scuffles as they landed and then they were seperated. 

Since when could unicorns start flying?

Stardust couldn't keep the grin of her face, she hadn't had this much fun for a while now and it was good to get the muscles moving.

"If I'm now your enemy, why don't we fight."

The grin on her face grew just that little longer as she stared down the unicorn stallion in front of her.

"Don't worry, I plan on beating you." Chivalry un-clicks the lock form his sheathed sword and draws it using his magic. "I am Chivalry Knight, and nothing will stop me from defeating Caras, not you, not anypony." Chivalry started to create energy bubbles that stuck to the ground. "Now then, shall we begin?" Chivalry jumps back and attacks from afar using his sword, he starts to slash at Stardust.

Stardust dodge the slashings and hackings that the stallion did towards her. That stallion was definitely quick with a sword but then he was just a stallion, a unicorn as well, though he could definitely jump high.Stardust cast a small and quick shield that moved to protect where the sword going for. It did little at draining her magic and that was what she wanted for her next spell. 

Stardust had to fight back and so she did, she rammed herself against the stallion and awkwardly kicked her legs to get him in his sides. The kick wasn't a failure and got him right in the ribs, pushing him further away from her. Stardust then started to slowly build up her magic  while she still had her small magic field protecting her from incoming hits.

"Augh! Darn it that hurt." Chivalry gets back up his hooves. Bubbles were still spewing from his horn onto the ground. "I have to keep trying!" Chivalry Increased the speed of his sword and watched Stardust closely for any incoming attacks. "That shield of your's has to break sometime, so if i keep hitting it..." Chivalry is determined to beat Stardust.

Stardust just looked at the stallion. The unicorn talked about what he was going to do? How stupid is that? Stardust was definitely weirded out just slightly. She thought that she was the mad pony here.

"You do realise that I now know your strategy? And for just some causal information while we sparr. I've had over 500 years to practice my shield durability. It ain't going no where."

Stardust watched as the stallions sword moved faster and her shield move at the same pace. Her magic in her horn had started to build up and she just needed to wait just a tad bit longer before she could cast her spell.

[Chivalry Knight 161]

Chivalry was getting tired. 'Darn it, I don't know how much longer i can keep this up, hmm.' Chivalry thought to himself. "So you know my strategy hey?" Chivalry stopped attacking the shield. "Heh, then I guess there's no point in wasting my energy attacking your shield." Chivalry brings his sword back to him but still leaves it unsheathed. "Alright then..." Chivalry stares at Stardust for a moment. The bubbles from his horn stop producing. Almost the entire battlefield was covered in energy bubbles. "Let's see... IF YOUR SHIELD CAN HOLD UP AFTER THIS!" Chivalry quickly encases himself in a Bubble Barrier. He Commands the bubbles throughout the battlefield to surround Stardust completely. "Now, Face my "Sea of Bubbles"!" The bubbles surrounding Stardust Rapidly close in on her in unison. This attack has a 100% chance to hit it's target. There is no escape, and no loopholes. This is one of Chivalry's best and strongest techniques.

"Not so fast Chivalry". Caras used his powerful magic to creat a extreamly powerful shield around Stardust, protecting her from the sea of bubbles, ((some of the attack did hit stardust)). "Your magic is strong indead Chivalry, but your attempts are foolish, for you are just making me more powerful. Now, watch as your own spells, are used against you and your friends". Caras recreated Chivalry's sea of bubbles spell. It was a perfect replication of his spell only a lot more powerful. The bubbles launched at everyone that caras considerd his enemy.
