Moon Crypt smiled as he led his part of the group into the town, taking the guise of a pegasus. "Shadow Seer, do me a favor and lead the others there."

 

You glide through the city. It's almost deserted. The town itself felt... wrong. Like it was diseased.

 

As you arrive at a large building, Moon Crypt smiled, opens the door, and gestures everyone into the ornately decorated lobby...

Shadow Seer bowed and turned to the group. "Let's move... I don't want to be here longer than necessary..."

 

The Jester shook his head, with a big, ugly smirk on his face.

 

As the group moved towards the center, Terra and Colt's scouting revealed one thing out of the ordinary- the ground beneath was hollow. Not that it was because of a basement- it would have has something in it. But it felt like you were literally walking on a thin sheet of plastic, even though there was at least six inches of pavement beneath you.

 

As the group caught up, something odd seemed to have entered the area... it seemed to smell like... blood.

 

"I don't like this," commented Shadow Seer.

 

"Since when do you ever like anything with carnage?" He chuckled and turned to the others. "So, did you find anything of interest while 'scouting'?"

Acheron was alert. The air of oppression that was about the area was all too familiar to him, making it clear that there was a strong, demonic concentration of power. The smell of blood filled his nostrils as well. Were there dead bodies nearby? Or was the smell that of a demon lurking nearby?

As Raze entered the room, he began to feel uneasy. The more he stayed inside, the worse the feeling started to become. The scent of blood was very pungent in the lobby even though there wasn't a drop of blood in sight, not to mention the floor he was walking on felt super thin, as if it would fall through it at any moment. He sighed.

 

"Yep," he said quietly to himself. "Just another day of demon hunting..." He began to focus, and soon shook off the feeling of uneasiness. He took a deep breath, and exhaled softly.

 

"Alright, back to business."

"Ungh this stench " were the words inside Emi's head as the smell of blood became the main attraction of the area, it was deep, a complete bother and it was not the only thing that made the body of the mare shiver with discomfort. Ever since the group was guided to this place she was concentrated with all her senses in their surroundings. Sounds, shadows, movement, her eyes and ears were trying to keep one step forward from possible menaces but there was more behind her focus.

 

The mare was focusing her mind and spirit remembering how the snake pony her executor and their connection felt. And what she was feeling was similar in many ways. "They are close...stay alert every pony something from "the other side of the seal" its nearby. " she said to alert the rest of the group. Ever since the dragon went into the sewers there was no signal of him, worries started to build inside her, even when Colt has always being resourceful and able to stay on top of situations but this ordeal was over everything the siblings have gone before. "Where are you silly dragon" she thought with worries towards her brother.

@, @ChivalryKnight, @Iron Wing, @Krein, @Blitz, @~Twisted Genius~, While Selune and the rest were walking towards their destination she couldn't help but notice how the once great city of Manehatten was suspciously empty... something was wrong and she could smell it in the air, feel it in her mind. When they arrived she was glad to close the door behind them... and gain some sense of her mind. She walked into the lobby... "Where is she? Or he? Whatever... i forgot the gender right now."

Blitz trotted behind the group as they entered the lobby of a large building. Holy crap, what's up with the floor? It's like it could cave in at any moment! She thought to herself. Out of caution, she flapped her wings and began to hover just above the floor. That's better. As soon as she adjusted and became comfortable hovering, a thick, putrid smell hit her. Ugh, how come I didn't notice this before? Her eyes widened with realization. "Wait, is that smell... blood? What the buck?" She looked around to try and find where the awful smell was coming from, but she couldn't seem to locate the cause of the odor.

"Demons and other related creatures often leave a disgusting smell wherever they've been," Acheron told Blitz when he noticed her bewildered expression.

"I am actually unsure of what's with the floor though. Confusing... maybe it's just an effect left behind to cause fear and disorientation?"

"I doubt it Acheron... or at least that is it the immediate effect that demons cause. I believe demons are the opposite of life yes? Maybe they're affecting the oxygen or the air? That could cause some disorientation... the thing is that we are here for a purpose... we can't let this get the best of us."

Across the street the ponies of the strike team could see this was not the same city they were before, it was like a complete new land, ragged cloths and dirty banners hanged from the tall buildings from one side of the street to the other in what looked like an attempt to block the sun. The shadows made by those withered cloths moved by the wind made those streets a look beyond sinester. All over the walls red marks that could be done with blood showed the symbol of the sun crossed or canceled showing clear rejection against the princesses. As the group moved towards the place where the putrid smell came from all of them could feel something running below the ground, like thousands of vermin but... bigger. The rush bellow the soil made the ground shook, and rumble, the gravel over the pavement started to tremble as it felt that bellow the ground was rushed with more and more "things" it felt like soil was alive and enraged. Suddenly just behind the group a burst of a dark red liquid blasted, like a geyser of dense blood. A couple of seconds after that another one blasted closer and a split second after that one there were three more filling the ground with this vile goo. The attack team has to act now or this bursts will reach them soon.

He looked around for Colt and the others while he was trying to avoid the swarm of vermin by continously slamming his hoof on them "Colt!!! Emi! Anyone?"

"I guess that makes sense-" Blitz said. Then, a rush of red liquid burst out behind them. "OH BUCK." She exclaimed as she flew forwards, in hopes of avoiding being hit by any of the putrid liquid. How the hay do I even get dragged into this crap?

 

"Colt!!! Emi! Anyone?"

 

 

"Over here, Terra!" Blitz said, flying closer to him. She began waving her hooves in hopes he would see her.

They were bitting his hooves and trying to get inside through his armor. His movements fortunately kept them off and he managed to reach Blitz  "Help me out here Blitz! These aren't gonna kill themselves you know?"

"On it." Blitz said. She flew down near ground level, and began flying through groups of the vermin, knocking some of them over in the process. "I'll try to keep some of 'em down, you just try and get back over to the rest of the group. I don't think the vermin have gotten back to them yet." She said to Terra as she looped back around and tried to knock more of them over.

You can't kill them all and mass pesticide use will only make them resistant to such pesticides over the generations. Either or else they could hide just about everywhere. No... this isn't normal. We need to eradicate the source of the madness the demon. And i bet the guy has more surprises to come ahead! So watch out!"

The slashes and attacks of the brave ponies cut through and smashed a dozen of the blob vermins, each time one of those were splashed among the soul their remained filled with bubbles like boiling consuming the soil below them and making a new burst to splatter all this amorphous pests. The street where they where was now a one way to darkness the pests touched each other and became part of a bigger bloody goo that moved towards the attack team, from the sky the pegasus over there were able to see how the pavement the blob left behind to move forward was consumed and steamy filling the atmosphere with a putrid stench of boiling blood, it was like like if some kind of acid was consuming the soil and corroding everything close.

The alabaster mare turned her eyes to every place she could find trying to find a way out, the blob was not giving any kind of soul wavelength yet she felt they were surrounded. As her companions fought this menace she realized there was no other way than run down the street to the dark alleys "This is what they want us to do... its a trap has to be waiting for us down there..." was the conclusion Emi had as the time ran out, the idea of them fighting back the gooey pest came to her mind but was blew away by Terra.
 

"It's no use trying to keep the vermin down...

 
The attack strategy was no option "We are getting surrounded by them, if we stay here I don't want to imagine what that thing can do to us... we dont have enough pegasus to get away from here, we need our magic users to do something about those tings NOW"
