I remember Bionicles. I still have a whole shelf dedicated to some of them. Anybody else have that awesome one with the bad dude riding on the back of that monster thing with a chain? That was great.

 

The story and movies were ridiculous, but FUN FACT: Jaller, the captain of the guard dude in the first one, is Andrew Francis (aka Shining Armor), and that blue Toa chick in the second one was Tabitha St. Germain.

Man, I had like one or two when I was a kid.  I loved them though, and always felt proud after I'd tear one apart and then put it back together.  Actually my husband's mother kept all of his kids toys (only child), and I'm working at putting them together whenever we go to his parents' house....I feel like a kid all over again

I still got around 30-40 bionicles, the older ones in terrible conditions but the newest ones are... like new

 

I know the names of most of them and most of the story arcs from the first three years, after that the bionicle universe exploded and it got hard to follow. Personally, they were by far superior to any toy based series.

I was just wondering because I actually had a friend on there who had your same avatar who mysteriously left one day and never came back.  His username was Takua the Wanderer.  I actually got banned for things that aren't even in the rules (making a joke pic of the admin on a completely different site, making my own Bionicle site that he claimed was a rip-off), so I haven't been on either, although I still miss that friend. :/

There's a shocking amount of similarities between Bionicle and MLP, I'm still somewhat of a Bio fan, and I very much enjoyed Bionicle when I was younger.

I loved bionicle, though I did have a "dark age" during the bohrok period, coming back during the time of the mask of life and Voya Nui. I managed to collect all the Toa mata, unfortunately they were lost and destroyed by uh, younger siblings I think. I still have a few collectibles from then.

 

Also, it's too bad the series never did continue despite they said only the toy sets would stop. If a storyline probably won't happen, you can tell us that! Dont promise us something you can't fulfill.

I collected Bionicles ever since they came out. I own at least one of every model and most of the films. Used to be a massive fan. I've probably watched all their films over 100 times. I love them!

I really liked Bionicles when I was younger actually! I got a bunch of them and was subscribed to the Lego Magazine so I got and read the comics(one of the few comics I ever read). All the stuff with the masks and the elements, it was pretty cool I guess.

Eventually though, I just kinda grew out of it. Also, watching the movies and playing the videogames... I didn't like them. Guess I can say those attributed to me falling out of love with it as well.

Ahem... Anyway, I still have a TON of Bionicles sitting up in a small box in my room. Just sitting there, out in the open, next to my bed.

I'd just have to put a couple pieces back onto various ones, and they'd be ready to play with.

If any of you have played Portal/Portal 2, I build GLaDOS completely out of spare parts.

Still got Tahu from like 2002 or something, and a crap ton of others old ones and newer ones too.
