music Two mashup I did last summer (for touhou, pokemon, zelda fans)

I'm redoing my mixing and production on some of my music to re-release an album. Here are to mash-ups. The idea behind the album was to cover zelda music. I wanted to create bosses that were corssovers from other series. These were the only good ones of the four.

First song combines The Legend of Zelda main theme and the champion theme from Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal

 

The next track combines Zelda's Theme with Kagura's theme from Touhou (Lunatic Princess).

Cool stuff. There's a couple parts where I think it could be helpful to go in and touch up the velocity and length of certain notes, as some parts sound off where a note is unusually accented or gets cut off early (0:35-1:00 on Zelda vs. Kagura  and 0:40 to 0:43 on vs Red for example). Overall really dig the sound though.

Oh I probably should have mentioned. I didn't use a plug-in for the string sound. All the instrument sounds were recorded off a my keyboard, like I plugged the keyboard into my interface and played.
