YouTube Geek Week Pony Searches

Just a heads up for people following Geek Week on Youtube. They are releasing earn-able badges for people who discover the hidden Easter Eggs via Youtube. There is a pony badge waiting to be claimed. I'm not too sure if you can flash em' off on your account. If you can awesome.

Yeah, it's pretty to look at...just one complaint, why is Fluttershy's bar orange like Applejack's? Wouldn't it be yellow like Apple Bloom's? >.>

I typed in fluttershy, and it comes up yellow. I'm not sure what was going on when she tried it. A truly awesome shout out to bronies. I'm a little upset actually. I thought I was one of the first to post about but I was late to the game.

Isn't geek week over? Does that mean that these easter eggs are staying normally? That would be awesome, and it might actually happen especially since I just checked, and Zerg Rush and Do A Barrel Roll still work on Google.

Look what I've got when I put mane six's names somewhere in my search phrases on YouTube:

 

 

They set the search results page header's color to match the coat's color of the corresponding pony ;-)

 

I've sent it to Equestria Daily. Hopefully they'll approve it and post it.

I wouldn't say that Youtube loves ponies per say but, it is a pretty funny easter egg. I guess, that Youtube decided to add that feature in.

Sadly, now it doesn't work anymore, but it was good to see they acknowledge them. 

 

I wonder what else do they have in store.

@ thanks, I didn't know. Sorry for being Captain Obvious, but I've just found it and I haven't found this thread in the search results, so I posted it.

Don't really know where this goes, but did anyone else find Youtubes MLP character color search interestingly cool?

 

 

 

 

 

 

I found it cool, it goes with like every pony, only weird part I found was how Celestia works, but for Luna it needs to have princess before it.

Fun fact: There is more color in those search bars than there is on the entire site.

 

I found it interesting at first, but I think YouTube should get its priorities in order. Making the search bar change colors corresponding to certain ponies is nice and all, but it doesn't fix the multiple problems the site has.

I also like the fact that if you type "ponies" into the search bar and hover your mouse over a video, magical things of hope and wonderment start to happen.

It's good to see that when you type a pony's name, their design color really does changes the background color. So, that is pretty catchy.

I found this out by accident during Geek Week and I am glad it is still there, it is nice to see some color while searching for videos related to certain ponies.
