What would you be doing now if bronies did not exist?

I would probably be in jail, dead, or continuing to live my miserable life... Idk... Ever since I entered the fandom... Iv been happy... Before the fandom... I was sad, lonely, and depressed.

I know the feeling. Several times now, I have suspected I may have fallen into depression myself if not for the show and fandom. Part of the reason I like it. It always cheers me up.

Hmmm, well I go through spells at the  moment. Some weeks I litrally spend 3 hours on this site and other pony sites and other times I won't for a month.

 

I guess I would be playing more DOTA then I already am, and probably find another community/forums to join into !

Without the whole brony thing... I probably would have remained the misantropic neurotic di*k I used to be.

And problably without firends outside the school zone.

 

Since i joined this fandom things has changed. I first left my home to go meet people I haven't met before in a city I've never been alone (It was quite a new thing for me hehe). Then I even went in cities in other regions and even went on a trip alone with friends for a brony meeting in a Comic Con far away from my town... That was great.

And strangeley enough... it was also good for me. Not only I was more relaxed and happier, but also I did get better marks at school and stuff.

Oh my god... I can't imagine what it would be like without bronies. I wouldn't be motivated to compose music. I wouldn't be introduced to the world of roleplaying, and my life would be mostly a huge waste on other parts of the internet and PC gaming, particularly MMORPGs. A huge shame considering I'm an aspiring medical student. I'd still have my university friends sure, but I think I'd be in a MUCH worse position without bronies.

I don't mean to sound like a super-dweeby typical pony fan, but I wouldn't have a lot of things if I didn't have this fandom. I would not have a lot of my friends and my special someone who I've been with for almost 8 months. I would still very shy.

 

I'd still be downloading Beatles songs and being a crazy Disney fan, though, like I am now.

The fandom (and more specifically this forum) served to introduce me to a number of folks that have ended up becoming among my closest friends.

 

If not for my exposure to the fandom and the folks within it, I would have a decidedly different core group of friends, one that I have in the last year thankfully shifted away from entitely for a multitude of reasons.

 

To keep a long story short, if the fandom never existed and you ever met me, you'd have a difficult time believing that I would be the sort to ever take part in anything remotely like it.

Well I would be watching anime. 
And probably not on here. But really I wouldn't of been watching this anime because I learned about the anime I watching from a site that I found from a manga that I wouldn't of been inspired to read if it weren't for a conversation I had with friends I made on here :OOO
Besides maybe watching anime, I would be... Ummm.. probably sleeping? 
Really I met some friends on here that kept me staying up late and now its a habit. So I'd be sleeping. Thanks Bruno and Lightning Fluttershy xD Mostly LF though. Or whatever username it is now :/ Those anime character names.. I never remember them unless they are characters I know.

I'd read and watch TV, and other boring normal things. The fandom has opened me up to so many different things.
