Pinkie Pie Hypothesis

Ok i finally broke down and watched Equestria Girls, not as bad as i was expecting. jokes and references were good, the music didn't seem as good as in FIM but it was still good. I thought Sunset shimmer was more attractive as a demon, sad she did't stay that way. i'm sure everyponys already talked at length about all of this. what fascinated me was Pinkie Pie and i came up with a hypothesis about her. What if Pinkie Pies ability to violate the already Losses laws pf physics in their world is because shes inherently but unknowingly psychic! and shares a direct mental connection to every incarnation of her self in every alternate reality!

 

The Consequence of this, however, is that means Pinkie Pie is potentially the most powerful pony in the multiverse... a horrifying thought..

 

Whats your thoughts on this? plausible? or am I as crazy as Pinkie Pie?

I actually thought that might be plausible.  I thought it was interesting that she thought that Twilight Sparkle was psychic, but it was actually her who was displaying psychic abilities, such as her correctly assessing Twilight's true nature down to exact details even though she had no other reason to believe something like that.

yeah. what cemented it for me was when her pony counterpart did the same thing by correctly guessing what she had gone through on the other side of the mirror.

I believe that is what is known as the "fangasm".  I laughed when I heard it. Pinkie's true nature has been revealed to all. Now is she an Autobot or Decepticon?

Pinkie Pie being a psychic could be possible especially with her Pinkie Sense, and maybe Twilight will try to dig in deep into Pinkie's psyche if there isn't anything crazy in her head most of the time.

LOL she would be an Autobot, shes too fun loving to be a Decepticon... although she could be a spawn on Unicron he is the "Chaos Bringer" after all .

I hadn't even considered her Pinkie sense when i thought of this! your right n it adds to the thought that shes psychic n doesn't know it. no one, not even her, knows how her Pinkie sense works they only know that it dose.

i still whole-heartily believe that the human pinkie and the pony pinkie were either one-and-the-same or had contact with each other prior to the events in the movie. she breaks the fourth wall almost every episode, why not the barrier between person and pony? another thing, with this stuff included, i much more enjoyed her in the movie compared to the show. maybe because she got more character development in the movie and had more lines? (as a human) i still love her in the show, but for some reason i love her even more so in EQG.

Pinkie Pie has potentially all the abilities. She defies logic almost all, if not all, the episodes she's appeared in. Her being psychic is totally possible. If she could aim her abilities to a certain goal she would rival Discord if I exaggerate.

i agree. in fact i think its ironic that all the fuss some people make about how overpowered Alicorns and unicorns are (almost to the point of suggesting social inequality) that it turns out the most powerful of them all might in fact be a simple earth pony who grew up on a rock farm.

This is a good theory. It would be interesting if somepony made this into a fanfic or fanimation... Possibly this could be explored in the show. After all, if Equestria Girls ends up being canon with the show, then they're most likely going to reference EQG at least a FEW times in the show.

I have a different theory instead. What if Pinkie Pie was actually just a being that reincarnated into different universes and was just recalling memories from her previous life?

 

Theory:

MLP, EQG and our world exists not only in different dimensions but in different times altogether. What if Pinkie Pie only appeared to have these abilities because she actually lived through it? 

 

let's say she lived in our world first. She would hear about the MLP series, watch it, think it's funny and go on with the rest of her life. She then dies (old age) and is reborn in the world of EQG, where she remembers her past life and how she would interact with MLP Twilight. Afterwards she too would eventually age and pass on.

 

Finally, when she comes about the MLP universe she realizes she's being watched by the same audience in her previous previous life. It explains why she acts so kooky around the Mane 6, she knows she's on TV! She also knows what's gonna happen and that also explains why she's practically fearless throughout the series. She places items in hidden locations ahead of time for when she needs them in a scene, she invents the party cannon based on knowledge about historical artillery she read while in Canterlot high school, she pranks alongside Rainbow Dash because she knows the concept of trolling from our universe, etc.

 

Remember, the scene where she goes up to Fluttershy and says, "Your auntie Pinkie Pie has it all taken care of."

 

To which Fluttershy replies, "I'm a year older than you."

 

Pinkie Pie actually believes she's older than Fluttershy not by physical age but by mental age. Remember, Pinkie Pie may act weird but if you think about it hard enough she's eccentric only because she's lived several lifetimes over the course of her existence.

She's probably more all-knowing than powerful. Her abilities make her quite capable of knowing things that not even we could comprehend but in a stand off fight she wouldn't have much of an advantage.

There is a gap of knowledge as to how Pinkie Pie perfectly stated her theory about why Twilight was in the humniverse (hahah) and how the pony Pinkie Pie also knew the same about Twilight's crush (besides the fact that this was to rush the plot). Maybe when she is asleep, her dreams actually take place in the poniverse while she is awake as a pony.. but that would be awkward since she'd only be awake for eight hours in the pony world...bah, I tried lol.

i dont think that pinkie is psychic, i think she's just very observant of her surroundings combine that with her eidetic memory (this is just my assumption)  she definitely gives off that psychic vibe

It's not like something like this didn't happen before,

Pinkie is always silly like that, and I don't think she's psychic.
